I appreciate their knowledge of tax procedures and law, and I'm willing to pay for it. Our preparer this year apologized that the cost per form had gone up a bit, but our total wasn't much more than usual, so we can just go with it. And the cost is always deductible for the following year. We make an appointment on a weekend day each year and make a half-day of it. After our 9am appointment this year, we had breakfast while we waited for the computer entry and filing, picked up our info again, and were home by noon.

I actually remembered sitting on the leather couch talking with him about how we were going to spend our tax money. So I called a month ago to see if I could e-file my taxes because I was waiting on workmans comp I hurt myself hadnt been working ect... I came into the office signed the paperwork and waited. Im trusting that Tadricks as a whole would stand behind their name and file my return. 4 weeks later I call back because I havnt received my return and the IRS website isnt showing I even filed for last year. The new manager of 2 weeks does stay after to figure out what happened which I appreciate but takes no accountability for Tadricks as a whole for screwing up. He does offer to give me a discount next year but why would I go back next year when you DID NOT take care of me this year? I understand people make mistakes but this is a long lasting company tied to a very well known name in this community. I never would have thought they would have done me dirty like they did. Worst thing I did this year was trust them. It would have been diff if they said you know for our mistake we wont charge you the extra to e-file because we were suppose to file them 4 weeks ago. Instead it was the old manger was working on it and shes no longer here so i can file them now and hopfully you get them in 10 to 12 days, theres nothing i can do. Dont go to Tadricks and file taxes, your taxes are not safe here!

I tried contacting the business, to get meeting to clear up taxes, several times starting in January 26, via text, email, and phone. Got the run around several times, he cancelled several appointments. Unanswered calls. Then finally in August, I got a call from him and his assistant/wife, verbally disrespectful and cussing me saying, "F U" and he will not return my money, find someone else to help me. When I said ok, please return my money, and I take my business elsewhere. He (The owner) replied no, just pay your taxes, and hung up... So I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. I found out after the fact, that the owner was found guilty and went to prison for a few years, for aiding and assisting in the preparation of false tax returns. So Beware of this business.

Pretty good accountant with reasonable rates…read more While I don't particularly love the location- the office is in the funky Grand Mall in Grand Blanc- the important things here with an accountant are competency, trustworthiness and decent rates. I'm pleased (so far) with his services. He's done a good job on our taxes now for two years straight after I found him through a recommendation after I bailed on my longtime CPA in Flushing because they fouled up a tax return. Mr. Kubik managed to undo the damage done by my former CPA, and didn't charge me more for the snafu. While the cost of different tax returns will vary, our taxes cost about $150- not too bad.
