I've gotten multiple piercings at the shop before but five days ago, I decided to get an earlobe and nostril piercing with Lucio. The earlobe piercing came out good, but I had to get my nostril piercing removed because of how he did it. It's been constantly bleeding every single day and everyone says that it's too deep into my skin. The day after I got it, I went back to the shop and the lady that's done my previous piercings said "why does it look like that?" I decided to go to a different tattoo shop in hialeah and the first question they asked me was "did he stop halfway and then pull it through" which was exactly what happened. They kept saying he simply just messed it up and I had to take it out or it wouldn't heal properly. They also mentioned how small the bar was and how it had to be bigger for the swelling. I'm not sure if I was just his 1 unlucky client, but always do your research before getting pierced. read more

i went to the shop to get my naval piercing done. A Spanish lady who said she had been peircing for 18 years did it for me. She told me I needed to get my piercing upside down to heal better. I did that and also bought the titanium bar to help with healing. While piercing she also never used a clamp and never informed me that she was doing a surface piercing and the effects it may have. A few days later I went to another shop to get it looked at because I knew something was wrong. Come to find out, the piercer at the shop told me I should have never gotten it done due to my anatomy. Also she put in the wrong jewelry for a floating navel and the way she told me to clean it was 100% wrong.... They only want money and will not do what is best for your body if you do not have a proper anatomy. read more

Came here to get my nose pierced which costs $35. I was greeted upon arrival, asked what service I needed and filled out the standard paper work etc. I waited about 15 minutes since the piercer was with another customer. Inside was clean and cozy with a lot of artwork on the walls. The piercing was quick, the place was clean and everything was sterile. read more

What a great service and friendly people from the receptionist to the artists. I started the design process with John. He did a great job in designing what I was looking for. Something very customized and he took his time. Duny was the artist that did the job. Wow! Such an amazing job he did. I am so happy with the result and his attention to detail. He took his time and created, a masterpiece, in my eyes. He is a very talented young man. Has been doing this for 11 years and you can tell. Thank you to Duny and the entire Major Ink Studios. Accompanied my friend who got a tat and had mixed feelings about this place. It was a cool looking place but was getting some kind of electrical work done there was no where for customers to sit with boxes strewn about. We were greeted by a nice women and then eventually the counter girl came out. She was very loud, high energy, and cursing. Felt like she really didn't want to help anyone and had her own agenda. Mentioned more than once that she wanted our artist to wash her head. Every once in awhile she would sit outside then came in with some complaint about her life and start loudly cursing. All I thought is she must be related to the owner because her professionalism was dead. I thought it was also over priced for the product he got. The artist did not offer any suggestion or ranges in these things but it looked Ok could've been better for what he charged. read more

I had a very cool experience till the end. The lady at the front desk caught an attitude with me because I gave her cash and then my card but, I gave her more cash after I gave her the card and she was acting as if it was impossible for her to make a transaction like that. All she had to do was cancel the transaction and do it over to add the remainder of the cash but, instead she told me she couldn't then literally a second later she did it within .5 seconds. But, on the bright side, the artist who did my piercing was very polite and funny and did a great job with the piercing and talking me through the healing and care process. read more

Not sure why this is being reported as closed... they're definitely open! I'm so glad I found this little spot. My husband and I went and got tattoos for our anniversary- you know romance is ink!! The place was nice but I dont think is worth coming here, went to get a tattoo that wasn't even an inch big and got overcharged, the tattoo artist (Lee) charged me 80$ for a star tattoo. The lines were not that straight and the size was super small. Never going again. 105$ for a small star is crazy. read more

Bullshit service! Came in for a cover up which took 3 effing hours, the "artist" (artist my ass) did NOT follow the design at all! And the tattoo wasn't even covered! My husband was present and after all was said and done I left in tears, and felt forced to pay $450. I disputed with my credit card company and the fuxkers disputed it against me! Bitches! You don't have a fuxked up piece of shit tattoo permanently etched in YOUR skin!!!! I will keep disputing this transaction over and over. read more

I visited Major Ink this week. For the first time in my life I decided to get a tattoo. This place was refer by my daughters friend. I walked in and was greet by Wendy. She make me feel comfortable, listen to what I wanted , try the stencil twice and wasn't uncomfortable or moody to make changes. She had a great hand a quick one too. I recommend Wendy 100%. I came here on my 18th birthday, excited to get my first tattoo. I was greeted by a female employee (i forgot her name but she was a thick young lady. My initial plan was to get matching tattoos with my mom and sister. We couldn't get the design we wanted because it didn't look really good in person. We spent about 20 minutes deciding what we should get and then I finally decided to get a little heart on my middle finger. The tattoo itself was not good but I didn't want her to fix it at that point because the vibe was just off... which was understandable because it was Easter and they had already closed for the day. This place is awesome and I'll be going again soon! I went here initially because my friend recommended it to me. They have great prices and amazing work, you really get what you pay for and more! I think when I went the ceo was there with one other artist and the both of them worked with me to get the perfect look that I wanted for my tattoos. They also have privacy screens which I loved since the last place I went to did not have that and it was pretty awkward when people would come in.
