I've been coming to see Dr. Lisa for almost 6 months now so this is a very much overdue review. My first labor and delivery experience was quite traumatic for me and I had a lot of physical pain afterwards. I didn't even know that chiropractic during pregnancy was a thing until afterwards. When I got pregnant again with my second child, I knew I wanted to find a chiropractor that had expertise working with mamas-to-be. I'm so happy I came across Dr. Lisa and her practice. I've been to several chiropractors before that would only ever perform the same routine adjustment on me, no matter what new pain I might have had that day. With Dr. Lisa, it was a completely different experience. Before I even went into the office, Dr. Lisa first did a consult phone call with me to find out more about what I was looking to get out of going to see her and then walked me through her practice and philosophy. My first in office visit consisted of a 3 part Insight scan so they could gather more data about what my nervous system was saying it needed, ie which parts of my body were inflamed that we should be focusing more on. I then came back a few days later to go over the results of my scan with her and then to get my first adjustment. Dr. Lisa recommended a two part program for me - Phase 1 being to get my body into a better state to prepare for my upcoming L&D experience, and then Phase 2 just being maintenance to sustain that state. With Phase 1, I was going into the office 2-3 times/week and then went down to ~1x/week with Phase 2. Every visit is personalized with how you are feeling that day and what your body is saying it needs, so it's not just the same routine adjustment over and over. The Insight scan is repeated every 12 visits so you can monitor the progress that you are making. There is the option to purchase a bulk package and prepay for all your visits which saves you a good amount of money. With the package I purchased, there was the option for a "Daddy" visit, where my husband came with me to get some hands on training on certain positions or exercises he could help me with either before during the labor experience to ease my discomfort. The package also comes with a home visit after the baby is born, so Dr. Lisa can evaluate your postpartum state as well as the baby to ensure everyone is recovering nicely. I have been such a fan of my overall experience here that I am now trying to convince my husband to start his own sessions as he deals with some chronic pain. Dr. Lisa also has a lot of experience working with children - I never knew how many common childhood disorders were associated with misalignment in the body or nervous system. Went here for several sessions last year. I stopped going because of the strong anti-vax push by the clinician. I was told that vaccinating my children would result in brain damage. There were pamphlets in the waiting area with a load of false info. I looked up the doctors that were cited in the pamphlets, and they had their licenses removed years ago for spreading false information related to vaccines. read more

Went in because I had a groupon. First session was good, upgraded to a full hour massage and it was great! I decided to go back for a second session because I liked the holistic approach of Dr.Lisa. On my second consultation and everything went fine until I went to the counter. I felt cheated! The receptionist told me that I had to pay the whole consultation out of pocket. I provided my insurance card the week before but apparently they couldn't find out. Other chiropractors that I have gone, were able to find out my copayment and coverage within a week. In any case, they should have told me to expect the full price before I went to the second visit. Will go back to my previous chiropractor and low copayment. I'm done with trying businesses that try to make up the price of the groupon during second visits. read more

Dr. Lisa is great and seems to really care about her patients. If it was based just on her I would say 5 stars. She is definitely on the more holistic side with her total vitality plan but if you are open to it then it can be great. However I have to remove one star for the inconvenience of her schedule. She is only open about 2.5 days and her prices are a bit much. I have removed a second star for the "professional/admin" side of things. My first visit she was 40 minutes late. I have also had multiple issues in dealing with the front desk; mis-communications because she was not clear or wasn't listening to me plus an inflexible/uncaring attitude. read more

I love this place so much. If you are like me, having gone to many Doctors only to be met with skepticism and endless prescriptions that don't work, you should see Dr. Lisa. For many, it may be a step out of your comfort zone, as most would not think to see a chiropractor to treat stomach ailments, skin conditions and the like. And some of Her techniques involving emotional components can seem a bit like, as my husband calls it, woo woo. But to all of you I say embrace the woo woo! Give it a try. I can guarantee you that you will feel better with in 2 appointments ... heck, ONE even! The piece of mind that you get from knowing that Dr. Lisa actually GENUINELY cares about how you feel and about getting you healthier is a big step. The fact that she can do it with our drugs or with minimal (and usually optional) whole foods supplements is just a bonus. The office is quite, clean and relaxing, and the staff and other practitioners there are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it is pricey, and since her methods are some what "alternative", she is not on my insurance's list of "approved doctors". I was going to mark down a star for that, but I just can't. Her care is worth every penny; so if you have the chance and the money, don't look anywhere else. read more

I saw her before, during, and after my twin pregnancy, and she is now helping me recover from a car accident. She has an amazing touch, and always helps my body feel realigned when I see her. I have been a patient at the the Vitality Chiropractic Center for almost 10 years now and have been more than happy with the service and my overall health has improved dramatically. Dr. Lisa is an experienced and highly skilled professional and a kindhearted woman who truly cares about her patients. It has been many times when my kids would have an urgent need for an adjustment and she would never turn us down, even offered to come to our house. I used to suffer from debilitating asthma and frankly almost died from emphysema at the age of 18. This has been a debilitating disease for many years afterwards. Remarkably, after going through consistent chiro treatments at Vitality, my asthma attacks slowly and surely not only decreased, but completely stopped. My last attack was 7 years ago and not a single one since then. My chronic eczema (since 10 years old) also had disappeared and so did severe hay fever attacks. Also my chronic migraine headaches have become extremely rare, although in the past (before chiro) I would have have an episode at least 2-3 times a month (sometimes even 3 times a week). I came to see Dr. Lisa a few months ago after getting a groupon for a consultation and 2 adjustments. I've been seeing chiropractors since my sports-related injury a couple years ago, so I came to Dr. Lisa about my ongoing neck pain and migraines. I think it's important to note that Dr. Lisa herself explained that she probably wasn't "like other chiropractors" I've seen. She is more on the holistic side, as she looks more at the whole body and organs. I totally get that the spine houses a major part of the Central Nervous System (thank you, biology degree!) and may in fact influence a lot of what's going on in the rest of the body. But to be completely honest, I'm not seeing a chiropractor to get my lungs or other organs assessed; I'm coming to get my neck and posture realigned. So, in all, Dr. Lisa was very sweet and had great bedside manner, but her practice just wasn't for me. I was also displeased to see many books in the waiting room about how "dangerous" vaccines are for children, when these vaccines have saved countless lives. I had a groupon for three Lipolight sessions at vitality chiropractic so I decided to check them out. The first strike came when I tried to make an appointment. They are only open 2.5 days per week so I made sure to call to schedule my appointment during the time they were open. It took me calling every 20 minutes for 3 hours for someone to finally pick up the phone! The next strike came during my first appointment. My appointment was at 9am, and I showed up at 9 on the dot. To my surprise there wasn't even anyone at the office when I got there! After waiting outside the empty office for 10 minutes someone finally showed up to let me in. Finally all my appointments were run by the front office not by the doctor herself. A different person ran each of my appointments and they didn't seem to communicate with each other. One girl told me to lie down and the next told me that sitting up was better for treatment. Before my first session they took measurements. At my next two sessions someone asked if I had been measured already even though it was written down in my chart. After my final session they didn't take the final measurements to mark my progress. I have no idea if my three sessions worked because I was counting on them to take my before and after measurements. Overall I wouldn't recommend the Lipolight treatments because it's a lot of money to spend for something that may or may not work. read more

I got a Groupon for 3 Lipo Light sessions and I was up-sold 6 more. Today was my last session and I am THRILLED! I have been battling an umbilical hernia, so working out my waist is painful (and dangerous, according to my doctor), so I must wait until after repair surgery next year to do ab work. Needless to say that, even with a healthy lifestyle, I am unhappy with my waistline! Today we did final measurements of my waist after my 9 Lipo Light treatments and I have lost an inch above my belly button and an inch below my belly button! The day I went in for my appt Dr. Walsh wasn't there and I saw the other doctor (can't remember her name). Everyone was very friendly and the office seems pretty clean. They did an alignment, massage, & a consultation. I loved how they emphasize holistic good health & briefly explaining how everything is linked together, which is something I also believe in. During my consultation she also told me about common allergens and how many ppl don't even realize they are allergic and that if I cut out gluten from my diet it might help my overall health. I came to see Dr. Lisa as i was in an auto accident. Never having chiropractic care before i was a little nervous. She discussed the steps of her program to me and with my first adjustment i was on my way. I made sure to keep hydrated and take care of myself by watching for any inflammation. I twisted my ankle about a year ago. Ever since then everything in my body has felt out of place my ankle hip etcetera. My discomfort got so bad that I had to stop running. Dr.Lisa is an extremely passionate chiropractic doctor that has now offered her patients a new service called lipo-light. I am so glad I was able to find this easy and fun fat loss on groupon . I was able to schedule immediately. Within the first 6 sessions I lost 3 inches in a matter of two weeks. I enjoyed my continues visits in order to get my health back on track and even be able to schedule an adjustment after my sessions.
