I called the sKyn Kurist and luckily she was able to fit me in right away. The spa is located in some kind of studio setting building. Businesses rent a studio styled room. It's very clean and cute in the lobby. I was greeted by Aisha with kindness and a big smile. She was very sweet and professional. I booked a microdermabrasion facial. When we got started I was distracted by the choice of music she had playing. It was R&B music, not your typical spa like music. It through me off guard as I wanted to relax. By the mood of the music she had playing it felt more of a hangout. However I still was open minded to the facial as I haven't received one in a while. I was excited to get my skin cleaned and walk out with glowing skin. When it came time to steam my skin I could tell her steamer wasn't high quality as it wasn't powerful as I'm use to. It's felt as if it was barely steaming my face. It also felt it was steaming one side of my face and not as a whole. Microdermabrasion machine didn't have suction. It's suppose to feel somewhat similar to a vacuum. It was scraping my skin with no suction. Extractions are included in this facial and I recieved a few on each side of my cheeks. Not on my nose, or chin. Two very crucial parts of the face to get extractions. Whenever she placed products on my skin, she had on some type of latex gloves on. The smell of the products mixed with the gloves made a foul smell. By the time the facial was over I looked over my skin in the mirror and I noticed a slight glow. I wasn't glowing as normally expected. I feel I was only glowing due to all the products she had put on my skin . I will say my dark circles seem to have disappeared due to the eye cream she had used. I left her establishment feeling disappointed as the facial wasn't a relaxing experience and my skin was hardly glowing . Two days later, my skin is completely dull, not silky, pores still clogged on my nose and chin. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated that I feel I wasted money on a service that didn't meet my expectations . I am also upset I chose a place that didn't have reputable reviews. I want to add that I have prior experience and have worked in the skin care industry. I have received plenty of facials in my time to know what should be expected in a facial service. I don't bother with fill-ins. I change my style, length, and designs each time. I've started off long and went shorter for functionality. They have good time management when you book appts. I've been there for my nails and pedi maybe 1.5 hrs or less. They offer a beverage of wine or water. The music is always good like you'll be in full karaoke mode (R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop - old and new). They cater to the local demographic so don't come in there being extra like it's Alpharetta or John's Creek! Lol Cars are safe and they have cameras around the entire building. The cops ride up and down Old National anyway. I pay between $115-130 + tip depending on the service combo. I'll be a regular for months or years, if I can. Minus one star , no place is perfect.

This is the worst eyebrow threading place I have ever been to…read more On 01/17/26, I had my eyebrows done by an older woman who showed absolutely no customer service skills. She was on the phone the entire time during my service. She threaded one eyebrow, then stopped to answer a call. Then she did the second eyebrow and answered another call. It was extremely unprofessional. After threading, I agreed to eyebrow tinting, even though I was already nervous since it was my first time there. On top of that, I am six months pregnant and very uncomfortable. I made it clear that I needed someone who would listen to me and work efficiently because sitting for long periods is difficult for me. I explicitly told them I was uncomfortable due to my pregnancy, so she was fully aware. Before the tinting started, I clearly explained that I wanted my brows light with a natural fade in the front. I specifically said I did not want boxy eyebrows. Despite this, she kept messing up and had to ask a coworker for help. The entire time she was applying the tint, she remained on the phone. Once she finished applying it, she actually stepped outside the store to continue her call, leaving me sitting there. I immediately expressed to another employee that this was not what I wanted. She tried to help by wiping the front of my brows, but I repeatedly told her I just wanted the tint completely removed. The tint was staining the rest of my face because of how poorly it had been applied. She told me no and said I needed to wait 10 minutes. Five minutes later, she was still the only one helping me because the original technician had not returned. I told her again that I could not wait and that the tint needed to come off immediately. When the original lady finally came back after her coworker had already wiped the tint off my face, I started crying and explained that this was not what I asked for and that I felt completely ignored throughout the service. Instead of apologizing, her coworker suggested putting concealer on my face. I clearly said no, I just wanted everything removed. At the register, the same rude technician offered me 25% off. I declined and again explained my concerns. She gave me attitude and claimed that I had been there several times before, which was not true. I had already told her while sitting in the chair that I had just moved to Atlanta from Arizona. That alone proves she was not listening to me at any point. She then tried to force me to pay $25. I refused and told her I would only be paying for the threading service and nothing else. Do not come here unless you like boxy eyebrows. They also overcharge for tint. A box of tint costs around $5 and can be used on 20 or more clients. Tinting should not cost more than $7. This experience was stressful, unprofessional, and extremely disappointing, especially as a pregnant customer who clearly communicated her needs. My family members sent me here.... Trust me when I say, none of us will ever come back to this establishment.... Hope you fire that individual!
