the nail tech JADE was very just stale . she took forever on my French tips . not only did she take long I kept telling her that the nails were crooked . she proceeded to tell me they weren't and kept going . My thumb nails are extremely huge and not seated properly on the nail bed . She said she hated doing French tips and I wish I hadve discontinued services there . I paid almost $130 for all of my service in total and gave a tip for her seeming like I was an inconvenience. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Starting with the unprofessionalism, the nail tech was Nori who came off nice at first because she stood to do my nails as a walk in, but was rushing through because she had to be somewhere. She was not friendly at all. I wanted a very simple 2 color paint job on short tips. She clipped the tips down to basically my regular nail without asking what I wanted, insisted she could change what I asked for to look better, only to do less work and have it look nothing like the photo. Then to top it all off, they were thick with so much acrylic, and crooked, as well as a weird wide U shape. However when time to pay she looked at them and said "ummm we can do $55". WITHOUT DESIGN. I hate to argue about prices at the end of a service so I paid but I would NEVER go back. Unfortunately being new to the area I went off the great reviews on here and it was a lie. I came here to get my nails done with my sister,I asked for French tips and one of the workers said she doesn't like doing french tips, it's your job to do the design the client asked for wether you like it or no, if not then don't come to work, when she was done, there were little pieces of hair in my nails, i asked for WHITE French tips, the white polished was all messed up, it was all smushed up, she only did ONE coat of white polish, that didn't even cover up the nail, I could see my natural nail color, there was even air bubbles in my nails, some of nails were thick while the other half were thin, I will not be coming back here. read more

Overall; Searched "Nail Salons" near me through yelp and found this place! After moving closer to the airport I had to say goodbye to my nail home in the sandy springs area (wanted to go somewhere closer). Glad I went with my decision. Very cool, yet interesting place all around. Have a few of old 90s black culture which I resonated well with (90s baby over here). VERY talented nail techs + artists in general. You can tell the background of these talented nail artists have some sort of creative, scientific mindset when producing work as soon as you walk in - much respect. Loved my nail tech Neisha! She was very personable and kind. Took direction really well and worked around my terrible cuticles. I would definitely come back for sure. Recommendation? I usually come here only to get my toes done and go to a different shop for my nails. This shop specialize in nail art. I mean like all the fancy stuff that is hot right now designs, rhinestones, long nails you name it and they got you. Today I decided to get my nails and toes done here. Neisha was my nail tech, I must admit I was a little nervous at first because she looks so young. We started talking and she is super nice, personable and my nails turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!! She gave me exactly what I wanted! This is definitely going to be my shop for both my nails and toes. Not much to say, They didn't turn out the way I wanted. I got real tired of explaining what I wanted and the women not understanding, All spoke English fine but three of them were from here. I wanted the same design on two fingers that's it, she didn't understand she wiped it off twice and repainted the same thing. Four of my fingers were either filed into or clipped skin. My first time receiving services from the Nail Lab... a friend recommended their shop to me and on the strength of her word and how amazing her nails look, I knew this would be a hit. Unfortunately I travelled an hour out of the way to be slightly disappointed. I don't hate the set but I'm not impressed. Their IG page and work listed on social media isn't a wholistic representation of the talent in the salon. Upon arrival, I felt as though I was rudely addressed but that's not a big deal for me... as long as that person isn't doing my nails. As for the person that did do my nails... a complete sweetheart and very down to earth; she unfortunately just doesn't pay attention to detail and it shows in her work. Originally I wanted a completely different set that the nail tech was not comfortable with doing so ultimately I switched to this design thinking it would be a home run-- ehhh... not quite. I think the most disappointing was the price (set was priced at $80). Now I've paid anywhere between $40-$115 for my nails in the past and I can confidently say that the set was extremely overpriced especially since the quality wasn't anything extra special. Although I paid without a fuss (I think arguing about a service because of the price after the fact is so tacky... complain during service if you're going to set the tone that you aren't going to pay for mediocrity), based on this set, and price, I will not be returning. read more

This has by far been my most favorite set of nails... Naisha (sorry If that's spelt wrong) took her time and was very patient when I didn't really know what I wanted. Paid close attention to detail and gave great input when I came to the design. She takes her time and I love that, making sure I left beyond satisfied with my nails And she did a FREAKING AMAZING job. Definitely will be returning. My pedicure was great too! Let me first start by saying that I live over 30 minutes away from Nail Lab, but I happily make the trip. I usually see Nori and I have left a happy customer each time. She's so talented, as is Thao! The other ladies are also pretty cool and they've always been pleasant towards me. Chill environment and they either have dope music playing or an interesting show/movie to watch.
