This was my first time doing a brow tinting. I didn't schedule an appointment and I walked in a hour before they closed. I didn't realize till the end that it was Nicole who helped me but she was super informative on the upkeep of the brows, as well as the best way to get the best results if I were going to return to do a touchup service, but super friendly, and did I mention I absolutely love my eyebrows! Saw this place pop up "sponsored" on my IG so I decided to give them a try. I got there & was promptly started on, which I appreciate. I got my lip waxed & brows waxed & tinted. My wax was done well, didn't hurt too badly, & even ended with a jade roller which felt good. The reason for 3 stars isn't meant to be a bad thing, just moreso as a neutral review. I was not satisfied with my tint. It barely even looks as if my brows were tinted. I mean, I can see the tint outside of my natural brow, but it just honestly doesn't look as good as I've had at other places I've been tinted at. I usually do not write reviews, however I had such a negative experience I decided to forewarn anyone else looking to use this salon. I made an appointment via the online app to have my eyebrows waxed and tinted at this establishment. I arrived about 5 mins before my appointment and was seated immediately for the service. The problem came in when they began to apply the wax to my eyebrows. I was told that the wax was not pulling the hair from my eyebrows. It did not hurt, so the wax was removed and multiple applications were performed to complete waxing process. This morning I hen I woke up the skin above my eyebrows on both sides of my face is very inflamed, sore to touch, and oozing puss. I can not even touch my face with water without severe pain. I had to make an emergency appointment with a dermatologist. I also work as a nurse consultant, so I had to place all my virtual presentations on hold today due to the state of my face. The ladies within the salon were very nice, the establishment was very clean and pretty, however the service itself was horrible. I booked a brow wax and a brow tint online, which is very easy to do. I was able to walk in and get started with Britney. The place is clean, and the 2 workers and both clients (which included myself had on masks). Oh yeah, parking is a bit tricky too! Brittney confirmed my service and got started. I can not say she was unfriendly, but quiet-which I am cool with. I was just a little confused when she sat me up in the chair and sanitized the chair the other client just left from. I thought to myself, ok am I done? Does she give me a mirror or ask if I am satisfied or even told me I was all done? I checked out my brows in the mirror myself and they were ok. I checked out by the other women (who I believe was Nicole). She was much warmer and gave me some simple instructions to take care of my brows. Besides being asked or showed my brows or asking if I was satiafied or inquiring about anything, my brows are a little irritating and scaly-which I believe is the wax. I have small bumps in between my brows and on the upper and lower brow where I was waxed, the tint could have irritated it more. I have had my brows done with tint before, but not sure what happened here. I really wanted to give this place a better review but between the parking, no inquiry of my service and my brow irritation, I can say I wont be returning. read more

Nicole's Beauty Lounge is conveniently located in east Atlanta in the Glenwood Park neighborhood. The establishment is clean and nice decor. I got an express facial with Tikeah upon my visit. I went on a Saturday afternoon and they were running behind so I wasn't seen until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The place is an open concept layout with sheer privacy curtains for facial and waxing treatments. Due to this you can hear the music and everyone's conversation and walking around while you are receiving your treatments. Something to keep in mind if you're looking for a more intimate and "spa like" experience. Tikeah seemed knowledgeable about products and what to use on my skin type. Her extractions were painless and effective. Upon completion my face didn't feel super smooth and polished like it normally does after my facials however this may be due to the SPF she applied at the end. Upon leaving I looked in the mirror and noticed that she left product on my face. this was not mentioned by the esthetician or the check out clerk despite them both seeing me before I left which I found odd. All in all it was a decent facial for the price however the ambiance was not very relaxing as you are basically getting a facial out in the open. It would also be beneficial to add some sort of neck pillow or support for your facial tables. The position definitely causes strain on your head and neck area without any support. read more

I got a Signature facial here today and the service was great. I actual came on their 3rd year anniversary and they even gave me complimentary champagne. The receptionist was kind, Nicole the owner has such a nice spirit just as everyone else. Precious did my facial and addressed my skin concerns and after my facial she even recommended me to an esthetician for my razor bumps on my neck that I have! We also had a great conversation while she did my facial. The prices are great compared to other beauty salons and the eyebrow tint and threading looks super natural and not a super DARK look as many others. Free parking is in the back of the building.
