Everything was peachy keen and then she got my deposit. Then, all the sudden she tells me with a group our size (5) and the timeframe we need to be done by (8a-1030a)..she'll have to get a second artist and ohmy gosh how sorry she is that she failed to tell me...but she's been talking with another bride to be who's wedding is on my exact day with my exact first name and got confused. Ok really? You surely could've come up with something better than that. She then apparently found a second artist but after 2 weeks that person apparently bailed to take a higher paying gig...so she's going to have to be by herself. Now, instead of being at the hair salon doing makeup at 8 (some getting hair done while others get makeup..then vice versa) she said the only option is to move our services to 6am! sSeriously..i would never nor would i make my bridesmaids get up at 5a to be ready for makeup at 6a. was she serious? Then I say "well the hair salon that is where we are supposed to get things done at is clearly not open at 6...so now what?" She then tries to pursuade me to use an on site stylist she can suggest (um, no.)..or says "have you ever thought about having all your bridesmaids stay over night the night before so you can all be in one spot the next morning and relaxed?" Ok -these people have families etc..I don't even want to justify her with my reasoning. The next best option she comes up with is to just do 3 instead of 5 people (which mean i'd lose part of my deposit)..but i still have to find somewhere else to go since salon isn't open at 6:30a (her new 'start time'). Seriously- now i'm thinking that the trial will go nice and smooth -but she'll give me these weird CAT eyes or something on my wedding day. After much more (unnecessary) back and forth-I decided to book a different makeup artist as it's now a month before my wedding (when I booked the new person) and I don't need nor want any unnecessary stress! I lost my deposit ($180!!) because she failed to tell me of the cost of 2nd artist (or 2nd artist all together until she had deposit) - then because she didn't have one she moved the time of this 2 hours earlier, then also moved location. Uuugh - stay away - for your own sake!

My husband adored the pictures and tells me he still looks at the ones that we purchased from the Google Drive I would say that, even if you are scared or think that you aren't good enough pretty enough, you should definitely give this a shot at least once in your life. It's nice to be pampered and treated like a princess and that's exactly what they do. It was 100% worth it to do this and make me feel so much better about myself. I sincerely recommend going to Sara for this, her work is comparable and beats some of the photographers in the city.
