Nicole is amazing! I was in from out of town for a wedding on the Cape. Due to not knowing the area at all, my hair appointment ended up being a bit far from where I was staying, but Nicole was willing to come to the salon. (Her communication is also incredible and she always responded to emails very quickly.) She ended up doing one better than that by making it a house call and also did one of my friend's makeup as well. Our looks were flawless and even better than what we initially wanted. Established in 2009.

I began my journey in the beauty industry at Spa Tech Institute, where I earned my license in advanced esthetics in 2009. I had the privilege of studying under renowned makeup artist Debra Macki, which helped shape my expertise and creativity in makeup artistry. Over the years, I’ve worked as a freelance makeup artist for top brands like Smashbox and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. I currently freelance for Allison Barbera Beauty. My experience spans countless brides, commercial shoots, and collaborations with respected organizations like PBS in Rhode Island and Star Pilot Productions. My dedication to quality and personalized service has allowed me to work with a diverse range of clients, creating looks that make every individual feel confident and radiant.

My love for makeup began at age 7, inspired by the movie Grease. I was captivated by how makeup could transform someone from ordinary to glamorous—it felt like magic! As a young artist, I practiced by coloring makeup looks in books, and my passion only grew stronger. As a teenager, I honed my skills by practicing on my mom, sister, and friends, discovering my talent for enhancing natural beauty. What began as a hobby turned into requests, as people asked me to do their makeup and referred me to others. In my 30s, I turned my passion into a career, earning my license in advanced esthetics and officially starting my journey as a professional makeup artist. For me, makeup is like painting a live canvas—it’s all about bringing out each client’s unique beauty. I truly love helping people feel and look their best. It’s a joy to connect with so many wonderful clients and make them shine on their special days!

She had a straight forward contract but it covered everything and a deposit was required. The photoshoot , makeup and prints or canvas are a separate cost. It took a while to find the shoes and outfits but get extras and not the same type of outfit or color. Put your clothes and everything in a suitcase. Her makeup artist Angela ( so pretty ) and understanding of my makeup concerns. The makeup was thick and I was concerned it was caked on ( I'm a more natural girl but I really don't know how to apply it properly) Angela had examples of how my makeup would translate in a photo. Stefanie didn't make me feel rushed and took tons of photos! You need to tell her your comfort level ! I told her absolutely NO nudes and she respected me and my comfort level. She will narrow them down to the best of the best photos when you do the reveal at a later date. It was really hard to only pick a few from the bunch to make an album. She will send you a link to approve or change the layout of the album. My fiancée got his album the night before our wedding. Let's just say we didn't need the gift he gave me for our wedding night.

I said again can you use the tools for dry dead skin. He said no no. I said i am not happy you did not do anything. I asked again for him to please do a good job cause i didnt want to have to go elsewhere. He kept saying no i just scrub and lotion. I said i didnt want gel cause i was not happy. He went and got regular polish, when he came back i showed him what i was unhappy about and what i'd like done. He refused. I said dont even paint them you did nothing. I was 100% unhappy. He got mad and told me to get out. I have gotten 100's of pedicures and i wanted nothing extra. Just what is always done. First one of the season, i would of paid top dollar and tipped him great if he did a good job. I am having horrible experiences down here with customer service. I want nothing extra only what is expected. The language barrier , i feel is being used as an excuse. I went to my normal place in plymouth paid $32 got a great pedicure and left a 25 tip. Girl said she could not tell anything was done.

I can confidently say that the male nail tech at this salon is hands down the best I have ever had. From the moment you sit down, you can tell that this man genuinely cares about his craft and takes pride in every single nail he works on. The level of attention to detail he brings to every appointment is unlike anything I have experienced anywhere else. I get super long nails, which I know is not easy to work with. Most techs I have been to in the past will rush through the process, cut corners, or just clearly want to get it over with. Not him. He takes his time with every single nail and makes sure everything is smooth, even, and flawless. There are never any lumps, bumps, or imperfections. Every time I leave, my nails look like they belong in a magazine. He clearly has a deep understanding of his craft and it shows in the finished product every single time without fail. What also sets him apart from every other tech I have been to is his attitude. He is genuinely kind, patient, and welcoming. I have been to salons where the techs make comments about the length I get or give me looks like I am being difficult for wanting what I want. He has never once made me feel judged or rushed. He treats every client with respect and makes you feel comfortable the entire time you are there. He actually pays attention to YOUR nails specifically and what works best for you rather than just doing the same cookie cutter set on everyone. That kind of personalized care is so rare and I appreciate it more than words can express. I will never go to another nail tech again. I got a gel french pedicure and they even had time to do a french manicure with acrylic nails. Both gentlemen did a wonderful job. The NAIL SPOT is my new SPOT to do my nails. We had so much fun on the morning of my wedding working with Nicole and her daughter! Nicole was so professional, was able to work with the small amount of room we had in my suite and most importantly made everyone look amazing! As a bride - I couldn't have felt more beautiful. Nicole worked with all of us from myself and my maid of honor, to my mother and my grandmother. My feisty grandmother still talks about how fabulous she looked and she doesn't know how Nicole gave her eyebrows for the day. Nicole gave us all sorts of tips and tricks from products that work the best to different techniques to use for certain eyes and that was much appreciated! I can speak for all of us that no ones makeup budged that day - not even the slightest bit and it was a fairly hot day - in the 80's and humid (especially at 2pm in August.). It was probably close to midnight when I was sadly washing my makeup off and I could not get over how nothing had moved, caked, and still looked flawless. Nicole and her daughter were fantastic! Nicole did a beautiful job on my wedding makeup! I was very happy with the way it turned out. We did a trial a month beforehand and she gave me great tips about applying makeup and taking care of my skin. She is very easy to talk to and work with! She made everyone feel and look so beautiful. I called Nicole at 3:30 on Friday afternoon, after another makeup artist I had booked 3 month prior bailed on me! She was here by 4:30.
