When I explained the style I wanted, she immediately told me it wouldn't look good -- not in a helpful or constructive way, but in a way that made me feel belittled. Then, instead of working with me or offering alternatives, she went ahead and did the exact opposite of what I asked for. The result? A completely botched haircut that I now have to get fixed elsewhere and spend another couple hundred. This experience was frustrating, upsetting, and honestly humiliating. My hair was gray (my choice) and every stylist I went to before Jess led off with hair color options before my butt even hit their chair. Jess was the ONLY hair stylist who didn't do this. The salon (KJ) scrambled for me and organized Rene and Megan to come in at 6:30 AM as well as Vanessa for makeup. Bride, 6 bridesmaids, mother of bride and myself done and out the door by 9:45!
