The appointment was at 11, she was only able to take me at 11:30. She double booked her appointments. I asked for Hollywood waves. As Anna was teasing my hair she kept ripping it off ignoring my screams and begging to be careful. 3 days later after the hair style my hair still continues to break and to fall off from pulling. The waves only held for one hour so by the time I got to the wedding my hair was completely straight ($120 down the drain) . In addition, she was sneezing and sniffling right over my head. I haven't tried any other stylists at Opia (and I definitely won't come back to try) but stay from Anna at all costs. She is sadist!

As I was entering the parking lot for my ON-TIME appointment, a young woman, Olivia from Rosa Blu called me, stating that the prior customer just arrived and asked that I push back my ON-TIME appointment by 45 minutes. It appears the manager made the young woman do her dirty work. Instead of telling the LATE customer that they had to wait, they made me push my appointment back. I wound up booking an appointment two days later and when I walked in, the manager, while rolling her eyes, in a non convincing manner says, "OH, sorry about the other day" NO REMORSE WHATSOEVER. Didn't even offer to perhaps give me a discount for the haircut. It's just shrug the shoulders and too bad Joe. This type of behavior is what turns customers away. It's not the first time this has happened. The bottom line.... they catered to the more expensive LATE client instead of the ON-TIME standard Men's haircut. The manager needs to take a Customer Service course and also not have her young staff members do her dirty work. A 2 grade is extremely generous. Will I go back..... I truly don't think so, with all do respect to the woman who cuts my hair.

Received a text message to confirm my appointment (which I did) and made arrangements for my kids so that I could get my hair done. Arrived at the salon at 10:45 the morning of my appointment only to find the door locked and the lights off, despite the fact the store hours on the door say the salon opens at 10:00 am. Another woman was also waiting because she had an appointment too. Called the phone number and when someone answered I explained that I was outside the salon and I have an appointment and it's closed. After putting me on hold for several minutes she comes back on the line to tell me my appointment was for 2/19. I explained to her I have a text confirmation and that I was calling groupon for a refund and she hung up on me. Be very weary... Felt like a scam to me.

I wanted to get my makeup done for my family member's wedding and after seeing and reading the…read moregreat reviews about Sheila, I knew I had to call and make an appointment with her. The reviews did not disappoint! She asked me questions about the wedding, what dress I was wearing, and how I felt about a shade before she put it on. She wants you to feel comfortable and the makeup to look natural. She is very patient and kind. At one point, she told me to open my eyes and one of my eyes was red. She said she it was strange that only one eye turned red, since she applied the same exact eye shadow and liner to both eyes. Maybe some eye shadow particles fell in my eye, but I didn't feel anything. She was nervous, but she quickly reacted and got eye drops to apply to my eye. She stopped and waited for the eye drops to reduce the redness in my eyes. I had a hair appointment next door and she went over to inform the hair stylist that I was going to be late. It all turned out well and the redness in my eyes disappeared, thankfully! I would definitely come back again and have Sheila do my makeup again. Prices are fair and you really get great service.

Making the appointment was easy - I texted with Sara to schedule but you can also schedule online. When I showed up for my appointment I was told Sara's car had broken down therefore she was running very late. Instead of turning me away and telling me to reschedule completely, Odete swept into action and did my roots. We had a tough time finding a color match (since my previous color was done at a different salon) but she went above and beyond to perfectly match and she did! Sara ended up making it into work right before my rinse therefore we decided to reschedule the bayalage. I came back the following week and everyone remembered me by name (even Oksana the nail lady)! Sara meticulously did my bayalage and made sure I was comfortable as I sat for 3 hours to get the perfect highlights put into my hair. Everything turned out perfectly and the blowout was great, as well. I cannot wait to come back here for touch-ups and color going forward.
