I am so happy that we chose Makeup in the 702 for my daughter's wedding! From start to finish Meg communicated every step of the way. She even gave a list of suggested lipsticks and tips for a great wedding day. I highly recommend having them on your wedding day. It was wonderful having all the bridesmaids and the bride together all morning taking turns to get hair and makeup done. The vibe was fun, relaxed and my daughter and friends laughed and had no worries. Our makeup artists was Noel who was perfect! She listened to each person and made everyone feel beautiful. She was an expert with the eyelashes plus she gave all the bridesmaids a similar makeup that matched their burgundy dresses! Jeanette did the hair. We had updos, boho braids and curls, plus Hollywood looks. She took the time to understand each girl. We weren't rushed, they showed up on time and the best part... even in 100 degrees outside wedding the hair and makeup stayed perfect the whole night! Thank you so much!
I'm getting married June 19th. The place I'm getting married at uses makeup in the 702. I showed the idea I had for my fantasy wedding and they told me to have a nice day... not very helpful. Not any recommendations on changes on makeup. Now I'm left worried. Update: they are rude and very unprofessional. Read the comment she left me. They reached out to me first. They will ruin you're wedding day. I sent in a complaint to Queensridge and they said they would handle it.
Jeanette was absolutely AMAZING !!! And even though i didn't choose Makeup702 for my actual Makeup, i wouldn't have chosen anyone else for my hair. Meg was a pleasure to work with as well !! Emely, Elena, Edith and Freedom Everything went better than could have been expected. The ladies showed up on time, and got set up and started right away. We were all ready on time there was no delays. The ladies were so helpful in creating and bringing to life everyone's inspirations. One of my bridesmaids who is battling breast cancer was brought to tears when her makeup artist was able to draw on her missing eyebrows. They took their time and did not rush and made sure everyone was fully satisfied before leaving. Could not recommend this company enough!

My daughter rarely wears makeup and she brought emphasis to her natural beautiful features. Meg and Jeanette did an incredible job of making the morning of my wedding awful. As you can see; I never write reviews, I choose not to invest my time in it but my terrible experience with this company and stylist Jeanette on MY WEDDING DAY warranted a review. Meg ruined and sabotaged my "relationship" with my stylist, Jeanette. I signed and paid a $1600 contract in full otherwise I would have aborted as soon as the communication went incredibly unprofessional on Meg's part. During my hair trial, my stylist Jeanette complained of neck and back pain on 3 occasions. It caused valid concern for me as she was scheduled to do hair for 7 ladies the morning of my wedding. Which by the way I waited 2.5 years for as my original wedding date was canceled 3 days prior due to covid (03/20/2020) I gently raised my concern to Meg in a private email requesting an additional stylist to assist so that we could get everyone ready more efficiently and if Jeanette's back pain would flare up I didn't want any issues. Instead of handling this matter privately, Meg screen shot my email and went back and forth with me over a group chat with Jeanette. From there on out Jeanette was cold, rude, not accommodating or available. Meg also did not honor my request as she stated no one was available. I can see now why Jeanette was the last one available, as she probably has had issues with clients in the past and gets booked last. The morning of my wedding Jeanette never greeted me once, the first thing she said to me when I walked in the door of MY bridal suite she yelled at me in a very irritated tone that someone needs to get in the hair chair immediately. I understand she had another appointment to make it to even after my wedding party so that was her priority to rush through it, and didn't want to be there at all, which she made very clear. Her chair had been occupied all morning by the bridal party and the chair was rarely empty (5 minutes tops) as she was making it seem. It was about 12:20 when I got in the hair chair. I have amazing, beautiful natural hair, the style I wanted was VERY simple, long curls and a simple pin on the side. I thought an hour to an hour 15 minutes was more than enough time for this simple but elegant style, as I'd already had a trial just 2 weeks prior and Jeanette already knew my hair. Instead she made me incredibly late intentionally since she had a personal vendetta against me and wanted to "ruin" my day in any way she could. She literallyhuffed and puffed in disgust when she was getting frustrated that she couldn't preform the style. She wasted so much time doing literally nothing to my hair but making it a mess. Finally I had to say this isn't working and go for a different style. A style that she had already done on most of my bridesmaids so myself THE BRIDE ended up looking almost the same as my bridesmaids, nothing special. At one point Jeanette got so upset that one of my ladies had brought me a tiny plate of food to eat and she threw it to the side and yelled "I need space!" Learn how to adapt to your environment, you're literally in the business of bridal hair , it's an experience not a sterile environment. When she was done with my hair it was just a few minutes to 2:00pm, I had to lie and say my hair looked ok when it didn't because my photographer was already there and I hadn't even finished my makeup. Then I spent even more time recurling my hair because Jeanette couldn't even get the curls right. The best part was when Jeanette finished the last lady and then walked out of the suite right past me and didn't even say a word to me, like you look beautiful or happy wedding day or congrats or thanks for the $1700! She walked out without saying one word to me. I missed out an almost an entire hour of photography, which is a huge deal as I barely got any of the bridal portraits or memorable photos I paid for and waited a lifetime for, and paid thousands for, was completely flustered and confused why she did that to me and it was really difficult to recover from such a terrible morning. It wasn't the dreamy, relaxed, happy getting ready in the bridal suite morning I had always dreamt of. MEG, Jeanette are emotionally unintelligent and DO NOT CARE THAT ITS YOUR WEDDING DAY, it's all about them. She did state to me in my trial how she's not invested in the hair industry anymore and will be making her exit to real estate within the next few months; she doesn't enjoy making you look and feel your best on your wedding. The only regret I have on my wedding day is not having my incredible hair stylist of 7 years come do my hair that morning which she generously offered to do for me as she knew how anxious and untrusting I was of Jeanette. And I know it's not just me, my other 6 vendors were incredible to work with. No amount of money and nothing could ever replace that morning and how I felt that day, no bride deserves that.
These ladies are amazing! We had a brunch wedding that started at 9:30 am and Meg and her team were more than willing to show up at 4:30 am to get 8 women wedding ready with hair and makeup. They were punctual, professional, quick and most importantly made all of us look like a million bucks! We had a variety of styles and preferences for hair and makeup and they were able to adapt to them all to make all of our women look and feel amazing! They were even able to get both of us brides ready on time! Very friendly, fair priced and great stylists. I would recommend them for anyones next big event.
Signed up for this service for my wedding hair and makeup. Overall the prep for the event was stressful (for me) as I kept getting email reminders to watch this video, read this, do that, have inspiration photos etc ready. It got so stressful I cried a few times as all I wanted was my mohawk braided and light/nude makeup and considered canceling the service and letting them keep the money. Luckily day of the two ladies arrived (not the owner/prep person) and they had been selected and 100% matched our esthetic - colored hair and tattoos. Unfortunately due to I assume bridezillas they arrived fairly early in the morning so I had over an hour to sit around doing nothing where I could not nap (because hair and makeup) before the photographer etc arrived. Overall I recommend them as their people are GREAT but warning the prep is a bit stressful and you get a lot of emails in preparation.
From the first message to the day of the wedding, Makeup in the 702 made the entire makeup experience easy and enjoyable! As a backstory, COVID caused us to have two weddings! A small "minimony" on our original date in early 2021, and a postponed, larger party later in 2021. Meg was always easy to contact and was easy to talk to. Due to the ever changing world we're currently in, Meg helped me schedule a trial in the comfort of my own home and schedule two sessions of hair and makeup for both events! Everything went smoothly, everyone was on time (if they didn't come early), and the entire team was friendly! Freedom and Edith worked on my hair and makeup from the beginning. They did my trial and were there for both weddings! I appreciated that I had the same people working on me so I could make that relationship with them and so I didn't have to wonder what to expect. For the larger party, we had a team of 5 working on my bridal party, a total of 12 people! We actually got done earlier than scheduled and I couldn't have imagined it going any smoother. Thank you to Meg and her team of hair stylists and makeup artists, they're the best in town!
From my very first interaction with Meg from Makeup in the 702 I felt confident they'd do an amazing job on my bridal hair and makeup and they did!! Alexx and Freedom made me, my bridesmaids and the moms feel extra beautiful on my big day, and it was such a relief knowing we'd have hair and makeup that would last the whole night. I was so happy with my look and would definitely recommend Makeup in the 702!

Although they weren't listed on JW Marriott's list of preferred H&M vendors, I found this company at a bridal expo and I'm so glad I chose them. Megan often keeps in touch and is extremely accommodating. Karen and Jade did my hair and makeup trial but Megan did mine and bridal party's makeup the day-of of the wedding. Both arrived on time and used time efficiently, getting all four ladies ready in time for the ceremony. Karen did an absolutely amazing job on my hair for the trial and the day-of (she can do any hair style). I highly recommend her! Megan is AWESOME! Wedding date: 6/29/14 - and my look did not sweat off! My fiancé and I were secretly flying to Vegas with some friends to Elope. Never been to Vegas and had no idea who to use for hair and makeup. I am pretty picky when it comes to hair but with my sensitive skin and not wanting to look over the top with make-up, I was cautious. Not to mention I am a makeup guru. Searched the web and stumbled upon Makeup in the 702 on Yelp. Because of the reviews, I requested and signed the contract with Deb (hair) and Kiera (makeup) only. BEST decision, besides marrying the love of my life, I made! Not only did I look like a beautiful princess, we had so much fun with Deb and Kiera! They are a hoot! Right off the bat, the owner/manager Megan was amazing and very helpful! She even over the phone solved a latex glue- lash mystery that my own 5 year makeup artist in town couldn't figure out. For both the test + the day of, Deb (hair) and Kiera (makeup) were AWESOME! Friendly, accommodating, engaging, and TALENTED! They came to our timeshare suite, joined the laughs and accommodated the changes I wanted from the test run to the wedding day. Everything was about the bride and not their pride! Was absolutely fabulous! If I could, I would fly them both to Austin, TX for our upcoming reception to make me look like that beautiful princess again! Only change I would make is on the test day, I had my makeup done first, then my hair due to a schedule delay. On my wedding day it was done together. For me, it was a little overwhelming to have both done at the same time. But I believe that is more a personal preference for it was hard to sip my wine with both going on at the same time! :) read more

I was recommended Makeup in the 702 by Scenic Las Vegas Weddings. Being from the UK I had to arrange all of my wedding from home and Megan was so quick in coming back to me and I found the pricing to be very reasonable. Megan kept in contact with me in the build up to the wedding and after, even helping me find out the brand of hairspray that Katie used on my hair - the stuff was crazy good!. I had Annie for my makeup and Katie for my hair (was going for an old Hollywood look). Annie and Katie were absolutely fab - came a little earlier to my room and went through exactly what I was aiming for with my hair and make up and they went above and beyond!! they absolutely nailed what I was looking for and the smile on my now husbands face when he saw me just said how happy we both were with the result. The hair was soo good the curls lasted for 3 days and the makeup lasted all night (the lashes even lasted another whole day!) I couldn't recommend Megan and her team more and will definately would use them again in a heartbeat should I even go back to Vegas xx read more

Words cannot express my satisfaction and gratitude for this AMAZING company!!!! Megan is incredible, she addressed all my needs and assigned me the most amazing makeup artist and hair stylist. She was always friendly, fast as responding, and made me feel like I was the only bride in Las Vegas!! Kassity was my wonderful makeup artist! I asked for super natural since my now-husband prefers that I don't wear makeup! She nailed my trial and gave me everything I asked for! Then on the wedding day, I felt even more beautiful!! I know she is moving, but I am so grateful she stayed to finish her April brides! I looked like ME just on my very best day, and my husband couldn't stop telling me how gorgeous and natural I looked ALL NIGHT! Even after a day filled with tears of joy, my makeup looked flawless! I felt so beautiful and it didn't even feel like I had makeup on!! Katie was my fantastic hair stylist! During the trial, she listened to everything I wanted! And even though I have super thick, stubborn hair, she gave me what I was looking for. Fast forward to the wedding day, she came into the hotel and told me she was studying my photos that she took from the trial and that she wasn't totally satisfied with how it came out. She explained what she wanted to fix, and even though I was really happy with the trial, she made me feel so good with the small changes she wanted to "fix." Let me just say, she blew it out of the water!! I couldn't have pictured my hair coming out any better! It was perfect!!! I am so thrilled she spoke up and described the few changes she thought would perfect my style!! True professional right there!! They were both ON TIME, SUPER FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, and INCREDIBLY TALENTED! They came to my hotel and made me feel so important and so special!! Karen, Annie and Marisa showed up right on time and did an awesome job with my MOB, MOG, 3 bridesmaids, 7(!) flower girls and ME! I wanted a very natural look for everyone and they did an AMAZING job. Megan's customer service was ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL throughout the entire process! My wedding took place the weekend after the tragic shooting in Las Vegas. Megan called me the following day to let me know what the current situation was and gave some advice as far as hotel options in case my guests, who were booked at Mandalay, wanted to switch hotels. I was really concerned and cannot say how much that phone call meant to me. She said she wanted to assure me that my day would be the best ever. You girls are simply Amazing! I originally posted a review for my wedding hair/ makeup trial but now this about my actual wedding. Annie and Karen did such a wonderful job making my girls and myself look marvelous! They made themselves comfortable in our hotel suite but didn't take up much room. They worked fast but efficiently yet they made great conversation. I think at one point during makeup I started freaking out with excitement but they kept me calm! My bridesmaids are very much into makeup so they worried it wouldn't look as good as they do themselves but (shhh, they looked better than normal)! I am not one for makeup but I guess for my Big Day it was fun! I still felt like myself but Beautiful and I didn't feel like it was a lot! I wasn't wearing a mask like I thought! I was treating so well and made feel special all along the way for my wedding on 5/25/18. Thanks to this lovely team, I felt stunning on my wedding day. Annie and Karen did an amazing job on my hair and makeup, and on my bridal party's! The makeup was light, yet it covered all of the wedding day skin-freak outs that I was experiencing, and my hair was so bouncy and shiny, though it is normally on the frizzy side. Megan and the ladies of Makeup in the 702 are amazing! I say the real winner here is Megan and her beautiful personality. She is exactly who I would want around me int he hours leading up to my wedding. As soon as I met her, I felt like I had known her for years. It felt like an old friend was in the room doing my makeup. I think this is partially due to all the effort she puts in prior to the time you actually meet up. I thought I would be a nervous wreck and although it has been a couple years (this review is long overdue), I do remember her making me feel really calm. I was very very nervous about booking hair and makeup! I interviewed quite a few ladies and Megan seemed most concerned with my hair issues and wanted to make it perfect for me. She did make my makeup more on the natural side, but I believe that is what I requested and I think she tries to enhance natural beauty. It was important that I had my eyes opened up to look big and she accomplished that. I was very nervous about my hair and we had many conversations about my extensions and different options. She gave me lots of information and I felt that was important that she took the time to care about my needs. I opted to buy my own extensions and have them put them in. I was very satisfied with my makeup and hair. Me being the nervous person I am, I appreciated that she took her time, listened to me, and make me feel like a million dollars. I can't say enough about how much I love Megan. Megan arrived to my hotel room to do our makeup which made it very convenient for me. If there is anything I wish did happen was that the eye makeup put on my Asian bridesmaids eyes opened their eyes up more. It's been so long that I honestly can't remember how it all happened, but I know that if I said something or my bridesmaids said something, I do believe Megan would have fixed it to make it more what I want. I am not sure if I did not say anything because of the time factor or because my girls seemed happy with it, so I did not want to be a pushy bride forcing my bridesmaids to look a certain way. I do feel that she would be open to feedback and so I blame myself for not speaking up more. I think happiness is so important and I remember feeling beautiful that day and for that, I can't thank her enough!!! Thank you Megan for making me beautiful and being there on my special day. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience with Megan, she is AMAZING and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She even made me happy, the pickiest person I know. Also, my makeup lasted all night. If I can recall, she also sent me sweet texts that made me smile on the day of my wedding. Who would not love that??? read more

Kiera and Deb did both my trial run and the makeup and hair for the big day. They were so incredibly sweet to me and made the whole experience so much fun! Kiera obviously shares my love for cute things, since we have the same set of Tokidoki brushes. :) Both ladies were nothing but complimentary and really got the look that I was going for. I looked amazing both on my wedding day, and also on my last night as a single girl. And that makeup and hair didn't move all night! Too bad they're not in Colorado for all my special events. They are awesome. Why? I have many reasons. I heart yelp and I went with all these reviews. First of all thank you'll yelpers. I emailed Megan and she replied me within 5 min? Wow 5 mins. She also responded through text msgs. She accommodated me quickly on Valentine's day wedding. I wasn't sure I will get her appointment. But yes I got it. I was scheduled for 7:45AM and Deb & Kiera was on TIME. Megan always replied me within few min. I asked her few questions and she replied me pretty fast. She was awesome. Kiera did great job with Makeup. I was looking beautiful everyone of my family were keep looking at me with loads of emotions. When I looked into mirror I was like - WOW IS THAT ME? I LOOK BEAUTIFUL :))))) Deb - She is great hair artist. I loved my hair style. I had japanese hair straightening in my hair a year ago but it is still there. I told her I want curls in my hair and believe me it never stayed before but they had some heavy duty products and it was beautifully crafted ;) Hair and makeup was PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL!!! read more

I had Deb & Keira do my makeup and hair for my Vegas wedding on 4/4/13 & everything was wonderful! I believe that they made me look fabulous & from my groom's feedback, he couldn't agree more! Both ladies were very easy to work with, wanted my feedback throughout the process & took photos of me as this was a planned elope to Vegas (no guests). I also got a spray tan from Keira in our suite at the Bellagio the night before which I highly recommend. I contacted Megan several times before my big day because I was so worried and stressed about my make up and hair. She always replied right away reassuring me that everything would be fine. Megan and Deb arrived at my home and they had a lot of energy. even though it was the first time I met them they made me feel so comfortable I felt like they'd been my friends for years. I absolutely love Makeup in the 702! I have used Meg and her glam squad for numerous occasions over the years including my wedding and family photos. Anytime I need to feel gorgeous, I give her a call. What I love the most besides the end product is the genuineness that she and her team exhibit. I feel as though every person who has done my makeup really listens to what type of look I'm going for and never pushes anything else on me. My maid of honor and I used Makeup in the 702 for my wedding day. I could not have been more pleased. Annie and Karen were amazing. They're very pleasant women, the entire experience was very enjoyable. They worked quickly, efficiently and in sync. True professionals that are very talented, personable and know exactly what they're doing. They were 15 minutes early. They both did a great job understanding my taste and the look I was going for. I wanted my hair in a pony tail with body in the front. Karen, my stylist, nailed it! She did an incredible job. It was exactly what I wanted. To look at the pictures and really see how every hair was lined up so smoothly and how it met at the pony... check out the pics. It was... WOW! Carrie is a very talented makeup artist. Let's just say I don't have the best skin, well I did on my wedding day! The makeup was applied flawlessly. My eyes never popped and looked so pretty. I read a lot of reviews and researched many hair and makeup options and from what I determined... 702 was one of the most affordable of the higher end options but maybe $40-50 more than the "average" companies. I decided for such an important event, saving $50 when the pictures of the work and the reviews were so much better... it just wasn't worth the risk. I was so impressed by these two women and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. I am so happy with my choice to use Makeup in the 702. I felt like a beautiful bride!
