Natural hair, braids, make up, locs, cuts, sew in's, wigs etc. Alicia was punctual and professional. She called me to confirm and discussed with me my vision before shampooing. I also got a good hair cut. I really loved the products here. Nothing oily and heavy used on my hair. Nothing cheap. What I'm really in love with here is the large shampoo chairs and beautiful modern posh decor ! The chandelier looks like a wedding ring set. The shampoo chairs are soooo comfortable and full body. You can't get drenched in water because you lay your whole body down. I found this salon finance wise very reasonable and again professional. As a New Yorker, this salon is a 10. The owner was extremely RUDE. He gave me a price that was 3x the regular price for a bride. I asked him for hair he told me I was "pushing it" I agreed though to the price. I was told to come to the salon the morning of my wedding. The house I was staying at was 2 blocks away, I was first told the stylist lives 5 mins from the house and was coming to me. Then told to come to the salon. Keep in mind I was paying 3x the amount for make up then that was on their website. The owner told me to come in on Sat morning to pay for the service for Sunday, and meet the makeup artist and show her what I wanted. Well I call Sat, no answer. I show up, no one is there, I call 5 more times and leave messages... NOTHING! I was getting married the next day, so you know as a bride I am freaking out! I NEVER received a call back!! I lucky found someone who drove an hour away to the house and did my hair and make up, she was PHENOMENAL and charged me 1/3 of the price. This salon is a joke. They almost ruined my wedding. STAY AWAY, nothing but inconsiderate unprofessional flakes.

This was the only place that could get us in... The salon itself is unique. Kitschy diner shop decor, random stuff everywhere... If you are looking for a peaceful salon/spa like setting then trust me when I say this definitely isn't it. The pedicure room was super small, the room made me feel like I was in a broom closet more then in a salon or spa. The girls performing our treatment were nice at least & offered us drinks, soda. As they were about to wrap things up I reminded them that I had asked for a hot stone massage. They had no prior knowledge of this. So, that led to them bickering a bit with the manager because neither one of them knew how to perform a hot stone massage. Well, they finally came to the conclusion that they could just "figure it out." I would later disagree. The stones they used were so small, pebble sized and were not hot at all! The massage was weak and very rushed. I love a good hot stone pedicure massage so I was pretty bummed to have this one turn out so poorly. In conclusion, I'm not sure who would enjoy this salon but it's not a place I'll be going back to or recommending to anybody I know.
