When I first parked and walked in I noticed that the building felt a bit dated. I do think it could benefit from a bit of a facelift, but the gymnastics area where the kids played during the party (while hitting me hard with 90s nostalgia) was super fun for the kiddos and kept them entertained for the hour or two they spent playing. I found the room for the party to be clean and well set up. It's nice that it's such a big room so you can accomodate a large group. I'm not sure if you can just take kids here to play for a fee or not, but if you can it might not be a bad place to explore on a cold or rainy day to get the wiggles out!

It's unfortunate you have to wait sometimes hours for these machines and sometimes don't even get the chance to use it at all:(

I had not seen as much of St. Joseph as I had wanted the day before (it was Sunday and everything was closed) I drove back from the park where I stayed. I called their number and the owner, very personable, gave me the address and a good time to come. He and his mechanic had the pump replaced in just a little over an hour. I loved their workshop, and they let me know exactly what was happening. The two worked together intensively to trouble-shoot the unusual and hard-to-work-on Airstream Interstate layout. Make sure you use a GPS to find the place. It is a small operation, but clearly his customers are satisfied. The pump works perfectly and being able to get it repaired so quickly made a huge difference to the rest of my trip. He also recommended a vet to take my dog to (see review for Twin Pines).

Typically in my experience neither is too busy and there is a good amount of space, which makes for a calming experience to me. Their workout area is not extremely large, but it still has a lot to offer with its array of free weights, workout machines, treadmills, etc. One thing I enjoy while utilizing the track is checking out all of the events they offer that you can see advertised on their screens. Their pool area seems pretty great as well, though I haven't used it myself.

Also, they had some kind of power lifting competition a week ago and blocked off most of the weight room for several hours. This could have been done after hours, before opening, or not at all.
