I talked with approximately 15 painters (some are big companies and the rest are small ones who are unlicensed). I deliberately examined each painter then I met Fidel Garcia of New View Painting who showed up immediately after a Home Advisor (Angi's List) request. I was impressed by his humility and respectfulness which I did not find from the other arrogant painters before him. He said he wanted to prove to my friends/neighbors that my house roof/exterior painting project is "his business card". He did not disappoint. He is a one-man company with a few help from his friends. He worked so hard from day one up to conclusion day. He is very reliable who showed up on time and professionally went to work right away. He is licensed and it definitely showed in his skills and abilities. He is communicative, cleaned up after each work day as agreed, placing all his tools at a designated place in my yard. He is respectful of my time, my belongings, and space. He is friendly, precise and attentive to detail. Finally, he finished the project within the mutually-agreed time frame. Overall, his work is excellent as my house now looks brand new. I highly recommend Fidel and will hire him again for all my future painting needs.

Finally bit the bullet this year and knew I was going with him. He is very meticulous, helpful, and ended up getting way too many samples (thank you Gus!) when I started feeling unsure of my main base color. I ended up with a color I love and he ended up doing my neighbor's house as well because she appreciated his work. I removed my carpet, tile flooring in the kitchen, demo this floating wall separating my living room for more of an open concept and I tried painting my cabinets myself and failed miserably 3 times. I realized there is a lot of prep work and details that needed to be done and I couldn't do this alone, so the search began. I tried calling almost everyone on yelp but my appointments either rescheduled , no show, or I felt ripped off. My house was a complete mess and I felt like giving up because at this rate I probably won't finish my house till next year! I actually found Shacy on Craigslist, made an appointment and he actually showed up! He quoted me for my cabinets but I actually hired him to paint my whole interior of my house also because of the fair pricing he quoted me. I have a 1700 sq ft home 4 bedroom 2 bathroom and he finished everything in 4 days! I am very satisfied with his work and I will let the picture speak for it self. Whoever is reading this...
