Quite possibly the best Thai massage I've ever gotten. We got back to back reservations since our party was a total of 4 people. They took 2 at 3:30 then another at 5. I'm glad we ended up getting the second reservation because we had just eaten and drank for a couple hours at Paradise Cove so I didn't want to spend the next 90 mins getting manhandled and possibly releasing gas. Lol. We got there a little early so my friend and I walked over to the beach to kill some time. By the time we got back, out friends were on their way out. Perfect timing. After confirming with the masseuse what area I needed worked on, the best 90 min massage commenced. I wish I got her name because she deserves kudos for getting all the knots on my back. She really went to town. My friend who was in the next room told me afterwards that she heard me snoring a few times. I did remember dozing off a bit. It was that relaxing. I genuinely love this place and will be returning! It is very clean which is very important to me! Right from the beginning the masseuse asked how the pressure was which I really appreciated! I did get a true deep tissue massage and I especially love her taking the time to do my full body. My favorite was around my neck right under the hairline which I feel gets overlooked! It is somewhat painful to write this review but I know these things can be fixed. I called before coming to make sure a massage therapist was available and sure enough, one was and I showed up a few minutes later. Once I got there, the massage therapist wanted me to pay in advance, which is not necessarily uncommon. She did not however give me my change before the massage started. Also, the website says a variety of services are available but once I got there, it seemed like there was just one option. I got into the massage room, which was already a little warm and the masseuse walked out at least 4-5 times to deal with various things (putting on music from pandora or YouTube which had ads, signing for a delivery, answering the phone, etc). Unfortunately, this does not contribute to an enjoyable spa environment. Also, she did focus mostly on my back (at my request) but kept making comments like, wow, your back is so tight, you're so young, I'll try my best. While all of these comments were well meaning, they felt pretty judgmental. Also, that's why I'm here trying to relax during a massage with a bunch of interruptions and distractions. All in all, the massage was ok, but I won't be coming back any time soon. I feel bad writing this review but I was really looking for a stress reducing experience at Bliss Spa and this was the opposite. She wanted a higher tip than I was offering but I felt gracious giving a tip at all, which is very unlike me. :( read more

I am not a person that leaves reviews, but felt pretty upset at the experience I had with this place. Not sure if the person was having a bad day or not but she was a complete b*** to me. I understand people not speaking the English and having to work around that, but my lady didn't try to understand what I wanted. Eventually, throwing my legs to the bed and walking out and saying someone else could help. By then I was just done with the whole experience and wanted to leave and she still charged me 30 minutes for a 10 minute massage. My boyfriend came out of his massage saying it was not good but at least the lady was nice about it. Pretty sucky place. read more

We were in Malibu for a few days for our anniversary and are so happy we found Malibu Bliss. My husband and I called on Monday evening and they got us in early on Tuesday for simultaneous 90-minute Bliss Combo massages. Nida and Anne were both so good and very professional and kind. The spa is clean and quiet. I am mostly a Swedish massage kind of girl, but the Thai portion of this massage was amazing. So many knots to work out! I recently had a 60min massage here with Amy, and it was possibly the best massage I've ever had - and I've had a lot of massages. It was so effective for my body that later that evening my body went into flu-like mode for a few hours because it clearly needed to get rid of the things that Amy brought out in the massage. She was able to release the tension in every small area and muscle with detailed acupressure like I have never experienced before. I stopped by Malibu Bliss after my stressful day, with shoulder and back aching. This place is beautiful, clean, peaceful and relaxing with its music. I had a Swedish combinations of deep tissue and Thai massage. Thai massage that stretches my muscles. The deep tissue massage releases the knots. my stress and knots melted into never land. And the Swedish massage made me so relax. It was hard to leave at the end of the massage session. The price was affordable for a place in Malibu. Once a month i like to start my sunday with a long drive along Pch. This week was a stressfull week. I really needed a nice relaxing day. Usually a spirited and aggressive drive on Kanan road will get rid of it. But as Kanan road ends at pch i was still stressed. A few minutes later on pch i spotted Malibu Bliss massage. My neck and back feels tight, so i decided to get a massage. There was plenty of parking too. Eve was my masseuse and she was awesome.
