Today was the last straw. Every single time I come here, I tell the staff the same thing: please make sure the compressed air dries the vehicle completely before I leave. Yet every single visit, as soon as I drive away, water starts dripping from the side mirrors, door sills, and other crevices. I end up having to dry the car myself at home, and that's when I notice everything else that was missed. The windows are streaky, there are water spots and stains left on the paint, dust is still on the vehicle, and the overall attention to detail is lacking. Today I asked why the rubber floor mats hadn't been wiped down. I was told, "We only vacuum them." The problem is, they hadn't even done that. The mats were still dirty. I finally told the manager, "I'm never coming back here." I've been a loyal customer and have spent a lot of money here over the years. It took me less than a minute to wipe down the rubber mats myself, but much longer to correct the rest of the poor workmanship. When I pay for a professional car wash, I shouldn't have to finish the job at home. And please don't offer me another free car wash card. A free wash isn't much of a solution when the quality of the wash itself is consistently disappointing. Today, August 23, I came in around 7 PM after working all week and was looking forward to finally getting my car washed. I had updated my payment card about a week ago, but was told my payment had declined. I would have gladly paid the $15 again, but I had accidentally left my wallet at home. I explained that I've been a paying member for months and asked if they could please let me through just this once so I could fix the payment issue afterward. The female employee I spoke with was extremely rude and wouldn't work with me at all. I understand that businesses have policies, and I'm not saying employees should just give away free washes. What bothered me was the complete lack of customer service or willingness to help a longtime paying member over a $15 wash. I decided to go inside the store and was amazed how the store was immaculately maintained and very inviting. I got to enjoy LaVazza Coffee at a Convenience Store (unheard off). Amazing coffee presentation at the corner with fresh sandwiches and assorted fresh bakery products. Store was well lit, amazing presentation of branded snacks, chocolates, high end gift item products and package beverages. Restrooms are clean and inviting. They also have lounge area and outdoor waiting area. What began as a stop over for a long trip, ended up to be a real refreshing stop. My car wash service was satisfactorily completed in 45 minutes and got to enjoy this amazing place tucked on the corner of Reyes Adobe Road and Canwood Street.
