I couldn't wait until Monday to have my car looked at, and needed to find a dependable and honest auto shop that was open locally in my area (Lake Worth). Fortunately, luck was on my side and found Lake Worth Auto Repair upon doing a Yelp search. Open from 8AM to 12PM on Saturdays, I called them early and they were more than happy to at least take a look at my car -- so long as I could get it the two miles it needed to go. They're located on Florida St just west of 19th Ave N and Dixie Highway. I was able to get my car there, and have it diagnosed. Turns out, my spark plugs needed to be replaced in a bad way, as well as my ignition coil. They replaced all within no time, and I was on my way out the door for a lot less than I thought I was going to be. They were straight up and honest, and very accommodating. My car is running great now, and I have Lake Worth Auto Repair to thank. They are bonafide, know what they're doing, and deliver on what they say. If I ever need to bring my car in locally, this is where I will go.

Vinnie told me everything looked fine and that he'd email me a quote after I left my information. Later that day, I received the quote for a new A/C compressor totaling $1,100. Since this was my first time at the shop, I wanted to double-check that this was definitely the issue before committing. After emailing him back that I'll take some time to think it over, he responds saying I owe him a $150 diagnosis fee added on that was never mentioned when I dropped the car off. I called to politely ask about it and whether I had signed anything or been told about the fee upfront.
