This was the first time at this establishment. Very happy with their service. I showed up a little early when they opened, I recommend going early. Was asked if I could wait an hour or two but was out of there in about half an hour. I paid cash for my oil change so was charged a bit less and the cost was right in line with what I expected to pay. Every employee I came in contact with was friendly and respectful. This is not a fancy garage. You can wait in a lawn chair outside or across the street in the diner. I happen to be comfortable in this environment so all good. I needed a tiny, cheap little part for my Mercedes. A simple little panel. Not only did it take him a week and a half to get it in, but he never called me. I called his shop this morning, because they were closed over the weekend, to tell him my son was in a bad car accident over the weekend and totaled my car. His response over and over again was "oh great, I'm out 100 bucks. That's just great! " Not once did he ask if my son even survived the accident, but he was extremely rude and completely unprofessional. And that's after giving him thousands in repairs and maintenance in the last year. My local mechanic retired. I went solely based upon the online recommendations to Bob Davis after my ac stopped cooling. Vinny did not disappoint me. He diagnosed the issue and repaired it consistent with the estimate. The ac runs great now. He replaced the evaporator and the dryer and it cools great. It was my first trip as this shop was recommended by my friend who has had work done there. I had brought my car to another shop, one I had frequented in the past. That shop insisted that I needed a brake job though I had a complete job done last year. I balked and I took my car to Bob Davis shop. I asked Vinnie, the manager, to check my brakes. He looked them over and he told me they were just fine. He did some other work for me and didn't charge for examining the brakes. Efficient and excellent work. My boyfriend went to there a couple times to have some work done on his truck. One of the last times he took the truck there, they were supposed to fix his crank shaft. After they supposedly fixed the crank shaft, it broke again a couple of months later. Vinny gave him this song and dance about the engine needing to be replaced. My boyfriend decided to get a second opinion, because while he is not a mechanic, he does work on his own vehicles as a hobby, and something wasn't adding up. As it turns out, THEY NEVER REPLACED THE CRANK SHAFT! All they did was put it back together and use some type of adhesive to make the bolts stay together. VERY SHODDY WORK.
