Great tasting experience here. Got a great tour and tasting from Kristen, pointing out the ecological focus that makes this spot special... which doesn't matter that much if the wine sucks. Thank God it does NOT. Really delicious wines here. Bought three bottles to take home. Good times.

    I loved the colourful umbrellas!

TIP: Yelp Check-in was 1 Free Tasting!!! Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from, but I enjoyed my visit here! We were greeted by 2 women who offered us wine samples right away WITH 2 different cheeses. Upon entering, there was a blackboard with the specific wines that were recommended by different staff members. I showed the Check-in offer to this lady behind the tasting counter and there were no issues. I told her what notes/flavours that I liked and she set me up! (One of the ladies outside actually recommended a specific wine I should try that was on the sweeter side.) It was quick and easy and I ended up getting that same bottle - not available at the LCBO! Just prior to my check-out, the lady asked if I wanted to try their Icewines. It was on the second page of the menu that I completely missed! They were BOTH delicious, ~$35. I'd definitely consider picking 1 of those up. All the staff that I encountered were very friendly!

I have been here a few times and must update my review... From experience I find that... 1. I always enjoy every wine I try here. Some places have one overpriced award winner and some real duds. You can count on great whites and reds here. They have numerous award winners, as well as both LCBO and very limited release wines. 2. The Rennie series that they bottle here is fantastic and worth the 3$ a taste to taste. 3. The Cheesy Guys located outside in the parking lot are awesome. They offer great things like Brie sliders, toasted cheese sandwiches and fresh cheese. Aside from great cheese, they are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. 4. The staff at Malivoire are also fantastic. Hats off to Barbara for making my most recent visit with out of town guests an absolute delight. 5. Malivoire is now a must stop for me each time I visit wine country. There are flashier wineries out there, but few with wine as fine as this.

Our guide mentioned that we would be able to use the restroom and still try the wine as there's enough for everyone. But they pre-poured the wine, so by the time we were ready to taste another, all the glasses were gone. So we asked for a tasting of the one we missed and we lucked out! They gave us them. But that experience made us feel this place was not that organized for a group this size. Maybe they need to pass out drink tickets for a large group or have us seated. We didn't learn much about this place as a tour would've been nice but I guess with Niagara fun tours it's all about drinking.

The larger one is the wine store which is not currently open during COVID. Doors are locked and they're doing curbside pick-up. I took a chance and dropped by on a weekday. It was open and they accommodated me by doing a tasting. The woman who did the tasting was very friendly and knowledgeable. According to the rep, Vieni specialises in Italian-style wines and they produce A LOT of bubbly wines for the region. (The carbonation tank is pricey, so not many wineries have it.) Vieni also rebrands their wines for other businesses/wineries. Out of what I tried - about 5-6 different wines - I liked their Sauvignon Blanc AND they also had a Lambrusco, one of my personal fav red, fruity, sweeter, effervescent wines! So of course, I got their Lambrusco, called Rosso ($20). Definitely check them out if you're into Italian-style &/or carbonated wines. Recommended!

The staff is super knowledgable and you can tell they are passionate about their work. They have seated tastings. I have always done my tastings inside their tasting room, I am not sure it works outside. My girlfriend wanted to try some of their sparklings. After hearing in detail the explanation on what to expect with all 5 of the options, she decided she wanted to try them all. They were very accommodating with this since they usually only do a tasting of 3. Throughout our tasting the lady kept checking on us, asking if we had any questions or if we needed anything else. Some Spice Girls conversations were had and we left very happy with some bottles of French style sparklings.

I was so happy to discover this place! The grounds are beautifully kept with a nice garden, the vineyard, a historic house (where there is a gorgeous tasting room and boutique -- a very 'French country' vibe), and a lovely shaded patio. There is a lot of space to spread out and relax. Wine tasting is $5 (for 3 samples) or $10 (for 3 samples + cheese board). Everyone seemed to be going for the latter, which included fresh baguette with herbes de provence olive oil, a sheep's milk cheddar and a gruyere cheese. Definitely worth it! They give you a list of their wines to choose from, as well as a sheet where you can take notes. Definitely appreciated. The young woman who served us was lovely. Very warm, friendly and able to provide a lot of descriptions about the wines. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcome and this is a place to relax and take your time enjoying the different wines. They do a couple sparkling wines which were quite refreshing, as well as a really unique Marsanne - super light and great for summer. I will definitely return when I'm passing through the area. This has been one of my favourite wine tasting experiences in Ontario (comparing to NOTL and PEC).
