Customer service was atrocious!!! When asked about our large number of people golfing it was fine until a couple of veteran and kid hating jerks complained. We stayed at the RV Park and played on Saturday. My wife and I wanted to visit this place for the last couple years. We showed up at 7-730 Friday night. Quick easy check-in. The RV park was 1/2 to 2/3rds full. Unfortunately we were given the spot that was closest to the road. It was loud with little grass, and stuff falling outta the tree onto our car. Again, there were a lot of other spots that were empty. I would have complained but we didn't bring the dogs on this trip. I would not have wanted to take the chance of one of the dogs running out into the road or getting tangled up in the brush. Now on to the golf course. We paid for unlimited golf ..... the guy Steve at the counter laughed when I suggested to walk onto the golf course. We had to make a tee-time a couple hours away. So we went back to our motor home and waited. We went to the first hole and met up with the other pair we were playing with. Then another guy who was walking the course and a single player had the same start time (double booked) offered to let him go first so we didn't feel pushed. He declined ( I knew better ) should have made him. By hole 3 he was calling and complaining to Steve! That we were taking to long. Steve showed up on his mighty Steed (golf cart) and complained that we were taking to long and needed to speed up and skip two holes .... I was so pi$$ed off my wife and I left. You paired us up with slow players ..... get over yourself Steve, dude you're not a PRO. Whew, let me calm down so I can finish my story. We went back that evening at 6pm. I told my story to a very nice guy named Mark. Let's give Mark a hand. He's the only reason my wife and I stayed and played. Mark, these three stars are yours. As you can tell, I would not have given Steve even one star. Thank you for a wonderful evening of golf. read more

This is a good, challenging golf course. Plenty of obstacles, thickets, roughs, you name it. The areas that are off would be some of the other golfers have zero etiquette or understanding of golf, as a number of times other golfers would be "Way off" and playing on our fairway! In one of the instances, they were hitting their balls back TOWARDS US to get to where they were supposed to be! The pro shop is nice and has the usual stuff including limited food and most of the staff had great and friendly attitudes with the exception of one who had great difficulty asking how he could help us and saying thank you (very limited social skills and a personality of a fence post). Golf carts are older and may have seen better days. Will I be back, yes, but these shortcomings will be in mind. read more

Review for Mallard Creek Golf Course - Regarding Staff Member Steve Mallard Creek Golf Course is, without a doubt, one of the best-maintained courses in the area. The layout is beautiful, the grounds are always in excellent shape, and the majority of the staff go above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. From the pro shop to the starters and grounds crew, nearly everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, one consistent exception has been Steve. In multiple interactions, Steve has come across as pretentious, dismissive, and frankly rude. He carries himself as though he's above everyone else, which creates an uncomfortable and uninviting atmosphere. Every encounter with him has left me and others feeling worse about our day -- the exact opposite of what you'd hope for when visiting a golf course. There have even been moments when we were ready to make additional purchases--whether it was merchandise or food and drinks--but ended up walking away simply because dealing with Steve was such an unpleasant experience. It's not just me who feels this way; many fellow golfers I've spoken with share the same frustration. His attitude is unfortunately well known among regulars. It's a real shame, because this course and its team deserve better representation. I hope management will take this feedback to heart and address what's clearly become a pattern. With the right attention, Mallard Creek can be a 10/10 experience from start to finish--for everyone. read more

Went there just to hit a large $12 dollar bucket of balls. The person in the pro shop decided to give himself a tip on my card. My bucket cost $27 dollars. I know how the POS system ForeUP works I'm a GM and golf course superintendent in San Diego so I know what kind of shady stuff you have to do to leave yourself that kind of tip. Good on you sir. Awesome FUN course! Greens are in great shape with very little ball marks if any. Challenging but not too challenging. Beautiful views and layout. I walked. Front 9 east to walk. Back 9 in the rolling hills and distances between holes made it a little more difficult, but still very walkable. I really enjoyed this course! read more

Fairways arent as lush as could be. Driving range is closed on Mondays so no way to warm up. No ball washers. The employees are friendly and the Pro is a good instructor. read more

We stayed at the RV Park and golfed for two days. The RV Park is very well managed, nice and level sites and the people, both who work and stay there are all warm and friendly people. Who would have known that such a beautiful golf course existed back here. The greens rolls true and the course has some fun and challenging holes. Love how all the natural beauty blends with the course. We even had a mama duck with her 5 teen ducklings cross the fairway and had to wait for them to clear before we took our approach shots - they were NOT in a hurry mind you. While the stay and play is an "all you can play" deal they do charge you $30 for the cart each time you play so if you decide to play in the morning and afternoon that's an additional $60. If you have a pull cart then it's definitely worth it. Beautiful clubhouse. I wish the carts were electric vs gas though. Would definitely come back. read more

So I was talking with a friend about how we were treated at Mallard, he just laughed and said I haven't been back either. Him and a friend were playing 18 they bought 6 beers between the the two of them left with a plastic bag they had put some ice in he thought that was nice went to the car grabbed the clubs put the beer and ice in a little cooler and headed out. Guy working the counter came out and made him put his tiny cooler back. He showed them it's the 6 beers we bought from you, zero exceptions and made him put the cooler back. So they had six warm beers in a plastic bag with melted ice after hole 3....I don't get it, the staff was very rude and just wanted to tell someone what to do. It would be one thing if it was a nice course that had a food/drink cart running around but they don't. So my friend made the turn and went to buy a burger and they won't sell you a burger if your still playing, it takes to long to cook....hot dogs only who makes these rules up. I'll take my 100 dollars it cost and go somewhere that has good customer service. read more

Nice course. Depending on pin placement and tees used, it can be tough. Know that in my opinion playing from the back/blue tees make the fairways not nearly so tight in the landing areas. Also, there is trouble around every green, and most greens slope from front to back and are fast. I had to start bouncing the ball on to greens after learning my lesson. read more

18 hole championship course set in the middle of timber country Oregon. My friends local favorite, $30 weekday rate fairly flat front nine and hilly back. Bunkers are hard sand that the owners are replacing this season. Lots of water, natural area with wildflowers, beautiful. Mallard's a nice course for anyone living in the Albany/Lebanon area. Lots of natural landscape included in the design and lots of wetland area can mean many lost balls if you don't keep it on the fairway, but it's a beautiful course to play. Greens and fairways are well maintained and there are few water hazards. The clubhouse has a small pro shop with a helpful staff and a nice lounge with an outdoor patio for a cocktail or two after your round. Fees vary based on time of year, so check their website http://www.mallardcreekgc.com for the most current rates. You can even book tee times right from their website and they have a emailing list and Facebook page that send out weekly deals and reminders. read more

We played here on Father's Day had a great day.We played 18 holes I rented two carts and brought my six-year-old son with us. Unlike the local golf course that is closer to our home they did not charge us to have my six-year-old son ride along with us. The course was pretty nice there were some swampy areas but I think that is because some of it is in a wetland. The bathroom in the driving range was pretty nasty according to my wife. Fortunately I was able to use Nature's bathroom, all and all it was a great day read more

My husband and I parked our 20' travel trailer in a pull-through spot determined to play unlimited golf for the weekend. I think we were the only ultra-light vehicle amongst the larger motor coaches. Our traveling neighbors were perfectly friendly. Our experiences with Staff members on the phone, at the on-site restaurant/bar, and in the pro shop were top notch. Katie from the restaurant from Friday night's dinner remembered us and what we liked when she drove the bar cart on the course the next day. All personnel were relaxed and courteous. We would have felt the weekend package optimized if the golf cart rental rate was reduced ($30 for 2 riders each round). We spent $90 on carts, but we do feel the $199 for 2 nights and unlimited golf deal was superb. We played 43 holes! The course itself is gorgeous and very challenging. I lost all the balls I had in my bag and had to buy some our 2nd day. I did find other golfers' balls in the grasses throughout our games, so it wasn't a total loss! What a great course! If you aren't a golfer, you'll still like the facilities - coin-op laundry, multiple individual shower stalls, and simply great Oregon landscape all around you. read more

Beautiful course, great greens. Range wasn't too bad either. Cost to play is the same all day, when they should have a discounted rate after a certain time (after 2pm or 3pm or even 5pm in the summer). Staff is friendly, pro shop nice. Recommend to all when near Lebanon. read more

RV Park : The sites are nice size, and we had good wi fi where we were in site number 8. The cable TV was all snowy so we were not able to watch TV, but that was ok. The golf course is beautiful. We would definitely go again. Get sites in the area of 1-10 where the wi fi is good. read more

We stayed there 3 nights because of the online info I read. We are not golfers so we won't go back. There is no on site manager so if dogs are loose, too bad. We were put in site #2 next to a busy highway. There was no wifi at our site and nothing online said that, and "cable" tv was a joke. If you have your own dish, fine but we went because they advertise cable. Apparantly, it is dish network and some can get it and others cannot. The "office" has no amenities other than some cold drinks and a few bags of snacks. The restaurant and whatever they have is somewhere on the golf resort, but there is no brochure/flyer to help you find these things or inform you of their offerings. You get NOTHING except how glad they are you are there and pets are welcome. read more
