The new food menu this year is great. I havent tried anything I didn't like. I love that they offer Bingo during the summer time. It's a lot of fun for the entire family. The 4th of July fireworks the past 2 years have been a great joy to watch. read more

Tee boxes are flat on every hole, greens are lightning fast and putt absolutely true. Amazing course! Haven't played it in 33 years and it's even better than it was! Definitely will come back and play again multiple times! read more

I had an absolute blast playing Tokatee yesterday. The course is in great shape and the views are exquisite. Tucked away near the mountain, Tokatee is surrounded by a forest that makes you feel completely separated from the hustle and bustle of everyday life--it is a very peaceful place to play. From a golf standpoint, this course is straightforward, which I like. No hidden tricks or big course secrets, just straight up golf. But that doesn't mean it's easy--there are many trees to hit or get stuck behind and several water hazards that can run your score up in a hurry. The greens roll fast and have some undulations, but there aren't many holes with multiple tiers. Tokatee offers multiple putting greens and a driving range for warming up. The staff in the clubhouse was pleasant and thanked me for visiting. Prices are very reasonable (and student discounts are available). It's a great golf course in a fantastic setting. Definitely worth the drive--go play here! read more

Tokatee is the epitome of a hidden gem. Located in the Cascades remote from any larger towns to the east and west, the course is one of the best in the region and very playable for all skill levels. - Reasonable prices very much in line with what Oregon courses charge. - Spectacular scenery with many views of the distant Three Sisters volcanoes. - Greens in great shape and roll fast. There are a few multi-tier greens but maybe not as many as at other courses. A few of the flags during my round were set in challenging spots on the green. A playing partner who has a lot of experience here said some pins were in places he'd never seen. Still, nothing unfair. - Fairways are in good shape in terms of lies but very bumpy for carts. Most holes do not have cart paths running their length so you'll be driving over these bumps a lot. Watch your speed. - Hazards are mostly trees, a few holes have water. Bunkers are not severe but the sand is not the best. - Watch out for the sneaky 16th: there's a hidden creek running across the middle as well as a more obvious pond on the left. Also, on the 17th, unless you were paying attention on the 16th green, you may not realize the the tee shot is entirely water carry. From the elevated tee box, it looks like the water is only on the left. - Love the 'chicken tees' on the par 3 11th. It's normally a scary water carry from the four regular tees but the course installed a fifth tee box that doesn't face water. However, the tee box markers are in the shape of chickens. - They have a range and a couple of practice greens that you can chip onto. I didn't see a practice bunker but maybe I missed it. - Nice cafe at the clubhouse. There's a call box on the ninth tee (or was it the eighth?) to phone in your order. I'd love to have Tokatee on my regular rotation but it's an hour and a half drive from Bend. I hope to be back. read more

This is my favorite golf course. Their greens are perfect they just got a new greens keeper not too long ago so everything is PGA approved. The people here are great and always have a welcoming attitude. After a round of golf go out grab a snack and a drink and sit on their deck looking at the three sisters the view is spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a fun yet challenging course. read more

BEAUTIFUL course with 360 degree view of mountains and forest. Fairways and greens were awesome. Staff on point. You "almost" forget about some of those blow up holes or lake balls donations. Who would have thought such an awesome course existed tucked away back here. So happy this place was spared from the fire a couple years back, but so sad to see the burn area. Fantastic course to play! I highly recommend it when you are in the area. Take the road from Bend, OR or from the opposite side of the Cascades Mountains, Eugene, OR and go play it. This time I was in Eugene for a conference. When visiting the cousins in Redmond/Bend, OR I will be coming back. Great mountain course. The head golf professional Dan King was and has been extremely unprofessional. It is hands down poorest customer service Iv ever experienced at a golf course. It is truly disheartening that a beautiful golf course such as this can be represented by such a low class individual. For the price of 18 holes you would assume exceptional customer service would follow. Not likely so don't bank on it. read more

Dan was as rude of a golf course employee I've ever experienced. As a member at a private club in Bend, it's disappointing to see Dan treat repeat customers who spend $1000's going to Tokatee from our area in Bend. Absolutely beautiful course. Plenty challenging and I love the abundant use of water. I've enjoyed playing here, and the experience is good overall with the exception of a pretty surly older guy behind the cash register. Not just once but a few times. Definitely will be playing more rounds at Tokatee though. read more

Not quite sure what I was expecting. All in all a nice course, but for whatever reason it seems like the courses that are in a forrested, mountainous region always seem to be really flat. I like the challenges of a dog leg left or right, off a steep cliff or up a hill. Water does come into play a few times, but more for those who are the casual golfer than those who can actually fit the ball where they want to. Pace of play also seemed to be slow, not sure if it was the heat of the day or not, but seemed to be standing around a lot waiting. read more

This is my favorite mountain course in Oregon. It may be my favorite Oregon course period (and yes, this includes the Bandons). Almost every hole on the front nine is distinctly, memorably beautiful, and this counts a lot with me. Wide fairways are more forgiving than most mountain courses, good length from the back tees, fairways and greens well maintained. Good (grass tees, adirondack chairs) practice facilities, small clubhouse and snack bar with good food and drink, nice outdoor terrace. Particularly nice for "sunset rates", when it cools off and the course empties out. Sometimes at twilight it feels like we own the place! Call first - beware the occasional large tournament here. A real jewel, don't miss it! read more

I love this course...I think it's a little overpriced but still willing to play it around 10 rounds a year when I'm in town from Denver. Very friendly employees...some cool holes...some crappy holes (get rid of the tree on 5 please)...love the goats...and love their Facebook posts! read more

Of all the courses I have played in Oregon , including the Bandon courses, Pumpkin Ridge, Sandpines, Reserve, etc. this has got to be my favorite. Yes it gets a lot of play. It is very popular. They Marshall the course, and I have never in all the years I have been playing this course stood around a lot. It's in great condition, the scenery is wonderful , the mckenzie river area offers a lot of fishing, hiking, water rafting. The staff is always fun and helpful, and the prices are right. This course is walkable but has some really tough holes. It's a great place to golf. read more

We golfed the front 9 on Saturday and full 18 on Sunday. Beautiful course set in meadowland and well situated away from road so the only sounds you hear are nature and you. Fairways are fairly straight and great views of the Sisters. We found the greens to be well cared for and challenging even if it was 3 foot putt, We played 18 in about 4 hours 15 minutes. We highly recommend this course. Also on Hole 17 Par 3 we got a cool surprise between the hillside tee box and the green below are goats safely tucked into the hillside fenced in area marshy area munching on the local tall grass. Great course to golf, you won't be disappointed. read more

Tokatee has a great layout with outstanding views of the Three Sisters. It truly is a fun course that is perfect for the high handicapper or the scratch golfer. The setting is perfect and at times you feel like the only golfer on the course. A great experience! I highly recomment Tokatee! read more
