I used FTD and unfortunately the flowers came from Mallery's. They should be embarrassed what they delivered to my daughter as a get-well bouquet. Except for the vase the flower arrangement was not at all what I ordered. It made me sick to see this so called get-well arrangement they delivered. It looked as if they threw old flowers they had laying around into a vase. To me they don't even deserve the 1 star rating I gave them. read more

This floral company was contracted by Blossom Flower Delivery with my order on 12/16/25 for an arrangement called Garden of Stars which is beautiful on their site and it assures the same flowers and style will be delivered though there maybe a little variation due to being handmade. What my daughter received as her 21st birthday arrangement looked absolutely nothing like the website's picture. Plus the extras I'd added to my order, mylar birthday balloon plus two accenting latex balloons and a birthday card were not delivered with the sad looking arrangement. When reaching out and speaking with an associate at Mallery's to share my dismay and disappointment in their product I was told, Sorry you were disappointed but we don't see any pictures of what a customer orders we're just given flower types to use. I said that seems so strange when there are pictures and very descriptive names for the arrangement featured. And also there were the missing balloons and card. Her response was a cold, Sorry. So what do you want me to do about that? Send more balloons? THERE WERE NO BALLOONS SENT WITH THE PITIFUL EXCUSE OF A BIRTHDAY ARRANGEMENT CREATED BY YOUR SHOP! I said I felt I could have had better satisfaction and service at the local grocery store....it was so sad. Mallery's Flowers and Gifts in Redding needs a zero for a review due to service, value, selection and customer service. At 12:30 today, I received flowers on my porch. I received someone else's Anniversary flowers and mine for a family loss were sent elsewhere. Mix ups happen, however they no longer have a store front and the voice mail is full so there was no way to contact them to resolve the issue of the poor quality of the arrangement and wrong delivery address. Late in the afternoon, my daughter in law drove to the other house across town and my flowers were sitting on the porch. We wanted to make sure the flowers were exchanged due to someone's Anniversary. The quality of both bouquets was sub par and didn't look like an arrangement but flowers just put in a vase. Their advertising is misleading and their business practice is unacceptable. I will be researching more on this business and their practices. read more

Do Not use them. You do not get what you pay for. If they don't have what you ordered and have to do a replacement, they do not call you. They exchanged a ceramic smiley face container for a plastic Dollar Tree store box, not sure how that is even comparable. There was nothing "happy" about this delivery. I paid for a balloon, did not get that. And special request... Do not ask for that because they don't meet them either. This was for my husband as an anniversary gift.. I could have thrown candy in a plastic bucket and made it look 100% better and cost me WAY less them what I paid There are a lot of awesome florists in my area, and they will be getting ALL my business form here on out. Horrible arrangement. So here goes my experience....my mom's 60th was yesterday and the one thing she asks for every year is flowers. So this year was no different. I used a site called flowershopping which said family owned. It came up local to the Redding area. I do not live in Redding but have used online flower deliver for my orders. I usually talk to someone in the flower shop immediately and no problems. Well, the flowers arrived and they were not what I ordered and Flowershopping said it was within policy to have the flowers to replaced if they were not in stock. Fine, whatever...the picture did not even match...there was a green and pink bow around a very awful looking vase. So apparently, so flowers and vases can be switched out if not in stock and you will not be notified - which is not part of their policy. If nothing is wrong with your order then you won't be notified. Summarized by what they have on voicemail recording. Won't be using Mallery's or Flowershoppping...Safeway or Trader Joe's does better! read more

I ordered flowers through FTD and Mallery's filled the order. What a disappointment. I paid for an upgraded version and what I got didn't even come close to the basic one on the website. Mallery's also has the arrangement on their website. No roses, mostly unopened flowers with a couple of carnations and some ferns. Certainly not worth the $79 we paid for this. I sent a complaint to FTD but don't expect anything to come of it. I know you don't always get exactly what you ordered through FTD but this is truly the worst I have ever seen. Absolutely terrible customer service and communication skills. Ordered online a week in advance for a Monday pickup and they didn't bother ever communicating that they wouldn't be able to fill my order when it was requested. Pick up time was for 12p, I showed at 12:10p to find the doors closed . I called and left a message and when the gal called back she claimed that her hours were correct on her website and then tried to say it was my fault because I was late to the pickup time. Store hours showed they were open until 2p. I used Teleflora to send a holiday bouquet to my Aunt. The bouquet was delivered a week before I requested it. When I received the email notification that it was delivered today, they knew something was wrong as my Aunt had already sent me a thank you note for the flowers. Because neither my aunt or I knew it was going to be delivered early, it sat on her doorstep for two days. The bouquet was half dead when she retrieved it and upon calling the store they did nothing about it and treated my 82-year-old aunt pretty rude. I called Teleflora to let them know what happened and the business that is representing them. All the one star reviews for this business seems to be my experience as well. It honestly pains me to leave a bad review during these tough times. However to mess an order up at this level and be rude to an elderly person, all bets are off. Had heard great things about this shop from word of mouth but I guess I should have come on YELP to see reviews before ordering. I ordered about 14 bundles of flowers for a baby shower and prepaid over the phone, asking for pickup before the shopped closed (4pm). On pickup day I decided to come a little early, at about 3:15pm. When I arrived the shop was locked but the "open" sign was on. Their hours online also stated they were open and there was no signage on the door. We called and knocked on the door several times to no answer. My event was out of town so I left a voicemail mentioning I was there and would be in town for about an hour more, for them to call me if they came back. We didn't hear back from them, so we had to make a last minute stop to Safeway and THANKFULLY they had the same items, but MUCH cheaper. The customer service there was AMAZING and the lady at Safeway went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. On Monday AM, after the event, I called the shop to see what happened and was met with HORRIBLE customer service and an unapologetic attitude, immediately. The lady interjected that she refunded the amount of the flowers already and put blame on me, for showing up early (during their open hours). I love to shop small and it's unfortunate this business doesn't care enough to apologize and make things right. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend to others. read more

I ordered the "Colorfulness" arrangement (first photo) from the Mallery's website for my grandmother's 83rd birthday. I ordered the "Deluxe," which is the second tier size on the website out of three, the third being the premium. The website states that the picture advertised is the one you will supposedly receive for the "Deluxe" $65 price. With tax, service fee, and delivery fee I paid $90 in total for what I expected to be a gorgeous, colorful, and generous arrangement. The arrangement was delivered the next day in the early afternoon as expected, but when my grandmother sent me a photo of what she had received it looked nothing close to what I had paid for (second photo). My grandmother also told me that she initially had no idea who who the flowers were from as the print on the card was so small she couldn't read it. Interestingly the print on the front of the card showing her name and address was much bigger (second photo), which is clearly an issue of poor formatting that can be very easily fixed. I'm incredibly upset. My grandmother is an angel and of course loves anything I give her, but the arrangement she received is NOT the grand birthday gesture I was aiming for. To the owner, please note that I considered the disclaimer tacked on to the receipt e-mailed to me after I completed payment: "When you order custom designs, they will be produced as closely as possible to the picture. Please remember that each design is custom made. No two arrangements are exactly alike, and color substitutions of flowers may be necessary. Prices and availability of seasonal flowers may vary." While I understand that substitutions are sometimes unavoidable, the arrangement I paid for and the arrangement my grandmother received is a clear example of FALSE ADVERTISING. If the arrangement advertised cannot be recreated then it should not be offered. Buyer beware. read more

Mallory's is CLOSED. Apparently their website is still up and running, and taking orders, but from what you see, what you actually ordered is not delivered. It looks like in some cases an order might make it but it is not what you ordered. Order from another reputable florist you can call and talk to a person. read more

Got a call the next week (Tuesday) saying that they were sorry but they were closed for a week and their online system should have reflected it... but it didn't. Lived in Redding for years. Used Mallery's for my wedding early 90's. Kids used it for proms. Even used them for other occasions. Was always happy with them but this time around big disappointment. 90 for this arrangement is awful. I wouldn't call it an arrangement. I'd call it flowers in a vase. Even some of the roses look like there are on their way out. I tried to call them several times and although it's Mother's Day I was hoping to at least low age them a message but the mailbox was full. I mean come on. They were kept indoors and had plenty of water. Flowers from a florist should easily look good for 7-14 days. Horrible experience I used Ava's flowers FTD and they used Mallery's 's I paid extra for my sister's flowers to be delivered by 2 PM on her birthday and they were not I called at 3 o'clock and they said they would get them there before closing at her work. I called my sister at 5:30 and she did not get her flowers I tried calling the site they were closed. We both got a text message at 7 o'clock saying the flowers were delivered to the gate of her business. My sister drove back up to work to find her flowers outside the gate left by the florist. My Father out of state ordered a birthday arrangement...flowers arrived fully bloomed with extremely warm water...I called and politely asked about this to which they offered to pick up the old and bring a new bouquet. See attached photos..not sure the new ones are much better...less roses as well. I'd say if ordering flowers go to this store to see what you are purchasing. This past year and a half, I've had 4 of 5 deliveries not go as ordered/planned. They supplied the wrong roses on my 25th anniversary, then were late or not as ordered for my wife's birthday and following anniversary. The final straw was not receiving the 2 dozen roses I ordered over a week prior to Valentines Day. My credit card was charged, but nothing showed up. I attempted to call many times between 4:30 and 5:30 and never got through. So, for the first time in the 30+ years we've been together, she got nothing on Valentines Day. I look forward to the attempted response when I get them on the phone this morning. Used to be my local go to shop for over 40 years. My brother lives in Mesa, Arizona, uses them also. Ever since the new owners took over it's been a horrible experience. Most recent example was flowers for my dad's gravestone. His birthday was June 15th, my brother sent flowers, I get a bill from them in July. I called and thought the problem was taken care of, same last name, two different accounts, no big deal. Think I talked to owner. Just now, in August, got the same bill again, called and asked to speak to the owner or bookkeeper, the lady who answered immediately remembered the problem and acted like she would do me a favor and take it off my bill because it wasn't worth me getting upset about. She acted like she was writing it off and losing the cost of the flowers and not that she was charging the wrong person. Totally clueless, this is the LAST in a series of missteps since the new owners took over. read more
