I came here for some nostalgia as this specific Malleys location is one I visited often with my late father over 20 years ago. It looks the exact same inside and out now as it did back then.. even the carpet! The chocolates are as delicious as I remember. Relatively speaking, the prepackaged chocolates and bars are marked at great price. An average size chocolate bar is about $2 and you can get a a huge chocolate bar for $5. I am deducting a star because the chocolates in the case are now pay per item rather than weight which, I feel, does not work out in the customers favor. I laid $10 for 10 small pieces of honeycomb chocolate and felt I would have paid less if it were by weight. read more

I observed cashier vacuuming... she stopped immediately to greet us but she never washed her hands if I ate chocolate I would immediately have politely directed her to wash her hands but since the chocolate wasn't for me and I'm petty I acted like I didn't notice either ( And she serviced other patrons) !!! Another nice Malley's location inside a strip mall in Beachwood! This store is well organized and identical to its Northeast Ohio counterparts. The minute you walk in, you'll see the delightfully 90s bright carpeting and slightly old school atmosphere. Malley's prices feel like they have gone up in recent years (probably pandemic related) but we still stay loyal to them. I stopped in to buy my parents a bag of their favorite mixed chocolates. Stepping into a Malley's is always like a warm hug, especially when I don't get to go in much anymore! The shop is clean and the staff is helpful. My family and I have been coming to this Malley's for years. The service is so friendly. Every time we walk in we are greeted and offered a sample. They have a huge selection and I love their seasonal gift wrap boxes. I would say it's a little pricey but that's what you get at local candy ships. read more

This is a secret chocolate gem of a store. Great for birthday, Christmas or holiday gifts. They wrap the chocolate and for one dollar extra will put a bow on it. They are knows for their buckeye chocolates and personally I love their turtles. It's tucked away in a plaza next to T.J.Maxx. The staff is helpful and the layout is simple. It's a lot of good old fashioned products. It's a Cleveland based store so buy goods to support them often. I suggest you come in and try it! read more

I'm not originally from Ohio and I didn't know how big of a deal Malley's Chocolate is to Clevend. Even when I go home to California, people Ohio ask if I've tried Malley's Chocolate. The stuff really is that good! This location especially is delightful. It is friendly, in a good area and has a lot of options to choose from. Go in for a peak, stay for the free samples. Whenever I visit Cleveland, I always make a point to stop by Malley's for some great locally made chocolate. My favorites are the buckeyes (golf sized rolled up peanut butter enrobed in decadent chocolate) and the pretzel bites. They also have wonderful chocolate covered Oreos (Malley-Os) and in the winter they make them with mint chocolate. We always leave Cleveland with at least 6 boxes for ourselves, family and friends. I have tried many of Malley's items over the years. I feel they do a few things very well & the rest is, well, meh and overpriced. Here are the items I feel are worth checking out: - They have very good dark chocolate. - Their Easter holiday marshmallow, caramel eggs covered with milk chocolate are kick-ass. - The most divine item, sadly seasonal too (a Cinco De Mayo feature), is the chocolate covered tortilla chips (collaborated w/ Momocho). Get them if you see them as the sell out quickly. Always clean. Ample parking. I find the staff snooty at most locations. I like the color and design of their shopping bags. read more
