I would never recommend spinks & Yates to anyone. the house we rented was a mess when we moved in,…read moreit smelled, there was hair on the floor and the cabinets were filthy, at time to move out we were charged $350 for a deep clean which they obviously did not find it important to do for us to move in. the walls were full of holes from the previous owners and we are being charged sheetrock damage. also being charged for overgrown flowerbed, that when I lived in were literally 3ft high full of weeds. Horribly run business, that I will let everyone know my experience about.

We walked into Spinks and Yates to inquire about rental management for our property on West Point…read moreLake. The gentleman we spoke to said he would have to get the rental management person. Five minutes later Shelly came out. We asked if we could sit down and talk for a few minutes. She said she couldn't because she had a 2:00 appointment. It was 1:00 at the time. So we had to speak through the glass that separated the lobby from the office area. We scheduled for Shelly to come out to assess our property the following morning at 9:45. We spent part of the morning sprucing up our place. 9:45 came and went. At 9:50 Shelly called us saying an emergency had come up and she couldn't come today. No "I'm so sorry". Simply "Would you like to reschedule?" We simply said that we would find someone else. She doesn't seem to understand that bad word of mouth advertising is the absolute worst for a business.

All service technicians were professional and helpful and I never worried about them coming into my home. When I inquired about purchasing the home, Gary, as the Agent, was very helpful, answering all my questions. Once all parties were decided upon, the process moved along quickly and easily, we closed in just over 30 days. I received an email from Todd the day after we closed Congratulating me and explaining that I would be receiving a refund of my security deposit and the overage of rental payments. Everyone at GTL was always professional, respectful and extremely pleasant and friendly. I would recommend them, especially to serious, long term renters. I would even recommend them to anyone looking for a company to oversee the rental of their property.

I haven't rented an apartment, YET!! It don't look bad Inside, though minimal kitchen cabinets, no…read moreroom for preparing meals either. The rent began as $700, then $600, $500, now $450. Each time it's reduced, I'm giving info through TEXT! I Never get to talk to live agent. When I call Revolution Rental Management by phone, the agent tells me call back and press a certain number,, the info they give me never matches the text messages. No way I'm begin a contract through Texting. The parking is the Worst part, (1) one part is on the street, next to mail boxes, blocking postal deliveries and (2) second part is on side of the unit where when it rain, it's Very likely a person's car will get stuck in the muddy yard. (3) when exiting vehicle, very little room between car door and the awful brushes from the bushes that look rodent infested,on the side of the apartment. (4) parking space so small, it'd Really be difficult to have 2 cars or visitors would have Nowhere to park!! **I can't say this a bad company, can't say nothing negative about apartment. But that parking and those bushes,, they need to remove bushes and cement parking spaces for the tenant.

DO NOT RENT FROM FLI PROPERTIES. This last renting…read moreexperience has been the biggest headache. I signed a lease with Spinks and Yates (wonderful company btw) in the summer last year. The last month of my lease FLI took over the property and let us know via text message. (I had rented from them once before and was already aware of the way that company is..) They were very pushy and rude about coming inside my home to take pictures. Then informed us that if someone wanted to view the home (while us and all our belongings were still inside) that we had to let them or we would be charged. We had just bought a house and were about to move so of course there were boxes and what have you everywhere. Who wants a stranger coming into their home while it's a mess? Not to mention that my lease wasn't up and that is not something Spinks and Yates (I'll say it again...the company I signed a lease with!) does. When I moved into the home, it was fairly clean, but was definitely cleaner upon move out. (Yet we were still charged a cleaning fee of over $100) We had also put money into fixing a couple things in the house that the owner would not. A plumber was sent out to the property and was told that the owner was refusing to fix the hot water heater. (And the rent has been raised by $80...) We were then told by FLI that he changed his mind and was going to have it replaced but that "there were people home and refused to open the door" I'm a stay at home mother. We also have 3 cars so either no one was home, or that whole story is bull because no one ever came back over. We also NEVER received a phone call. Then today, the story has changed to 3 times we refused to let anyone in. It's just a way to charge us over $900. Ontop of all of this, they are now claiming that we stole an oven although I have pictures proving that there was no oven upon move-in. I have also sent in proof of the oven that I had purchased. No response. Supposedly the actual owner has receits and claims that he had an oven installed. He never did and we have never had any contact with this man at all. He was asked to give us a call and has not. My thoughts are that he purchased one for himself and most likely gets to pocket my deposit. FLI is claiming that we owe them right at $2,000 when we deep cleaned that house, had to fix things ourselves with our own money, and were forced to purchase our own appliances. $2,000 for a lease that WE DID NOT EVEN SIGN WITH THEM.
