What I like most about this business is that they make sure you're satisfied before you take your clothes back. Allowed me to try on a different color in the shoe so we can get the correct sizing. We proceeded to order the actual shoe I wanted and Jose stated I'll have my shoes by Wednesday, March 23, which I was ok with. I called Jose Thursday, March 24 asking was everything ok because the shoes never showed. He goes to tell me that the shoes had to come in from another store, he'll be shipping it out in a few and he'll send me the tracking and I'll have the shoe Friday, March 25. Friday comes, I track my shoes, and it says "Attempted delivery, no answer." Of course I had been waiting all day, so I was upset and called fedex to let them know absolutely no one had been to my home for a delivery. The lady asks me to verify my name and address only to tell me the street address was off by one number and I need to contact the merchant whom ship the package to overwrite and correct the shipping label. I called the store and spoke with Jose, whom was unapologetic and said it was no big deal, he could have them fix the shipping label and they'll be delivered by tomorrow, only for him to call right back and say they won't allow him to overwrite the shipping label. They'll have to send him the package back for him to create a new label, which means I would be getting the shoe Monday since it was already Friday evening. Jose B. made it as if it was no big deal. A mistake was made on their end, with little to non apology. I missed the delivery guy Monday, March 28. Now, I finally got the box today only to open it and the Bottega V shoe box is torn, the bag is raggedy, overall not happy with this purchase and this is one brand I might have to not revisit.

As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile and some small conversation by a nice gentleman who actually asked if we needed something to drink since it was a bit hot outside. We weren't really shopping that day for anything in particular, but I love collecting "weird dress socks" and he had a good amount that day, so I snagged a few and bought them just out of courtesy for their service to our country. I've been back once or twice for some more socks because they usually have some unusual ones that I just cannot find anywhere else. If you're in the area and like to dress up, or down, for your every day business, you have to stop in and see what these guys have to offer!

This review is primarily for the fantastic tailors, Pablo and company, who you'll find in the rear…read moreof Mr. Rose's wonderful and very tastefully decorated store (a Houston staple absolutely worth visiting, and even more worth frequenting). Service is impeccable, fast, courteous, and professional in the extreme. Their understanding of tailoring, selection of fabric (with an especially wide selection of Samuelson), and knowledge of cuts is outstanding. They got recommended to me by practising attorneys in Houston who've had occasion to shop around - and Pablo's place comes No. 1 to them, and now to me. If you want to be kind to the tailors, communicate if your job is (sincerely) urgent or not; they're able to accommodate you either way while juggling competing obligations. E.g., I've had them fix suits for me (sleeves and pants taken in) on multiple occasions, and depending on need, the turn-around was as short as 2-3 days (urgent) or over a week (could easily wait). Just communicate with them, they're friendly and fully understanding of your needs. Staff are incredibly friendly and on one occasion even assisted me with the incredibly minor nuisance of fixing ripped high-end socks. They fixed them, free of charge (of course I tipped in return), and I could not even tell which of the two socks was fixed. It's in the small things that you can tell the quality of a person and of an establishment.
