What a great place to bring your dog for grooming. Friendly staff. When I brought my lab in for her normal bath, I started talking with Trish about my dogs licking of her two rear paws I tried a couple of rounds of medicine prescribed by our vet to no avail. Trish told me about their new Thera Clean service and how it works in aiding pets with skin irritation so they will stop licking. I brought my dog in for 5 sessions. Even after the first appointment, there was a marked reduction in the paw licking. It's been 5 months since her final session and she has not returned to licking her paws. walked in to inquire about getting my dog groomed and I wasn't acknowledged for almost 7 minutes. I waited for a customer to pay her bill standing at the register. The employee never looked at me or asked if I had a question. Another person arrived and was greeted and asked to pay their bill. I then stood for another 3 minutes without even a hello. I wouldn't trust a company like that with my pet. read more

I'm newer to the area and was looking for a new groomer to trim up my boy. Their location was convenient to the Malvern/Frazer area so I decided to give them a try! To be fully transparent their prices are a bit high in my opinion. I have a 28 pound Lhasa/schnauzer mix and his grooming was $108 at Malvern grooms. Previously I was paying about $80 for his grooming (both of those prices are with tip included). However with that said I think overall they did a great job on him and treated him well. The groomer listened to my asks and previous pictures of past grooms and did her best to meet those requests! She did a wonderful job. He can be a little wiggly when getting a bath and his nails trimmed, so I appreciate the patience and good job they did making sure he was even and looking good!! I took my Maine coon cat there for the first time. They were very professional and very fast to do the groom. Which I appreciate so that the cat didn't get too upset being in a strange environment. Only problem was finding car parking in the back. Plenty up top at the front. They even posted a lovely picture online, which was unexpected. Cat was happy and so was I. Please do not take your dog here... I had been bringing my dog here for over a year and I randomly got a call from their team after I dropped my dog off that they could not finish the groom because my 15lb dog bit the groomer. Totally understandable to not want to continue, however, they then proceeded to report my 15lb dog to the county for biting her!! I got a letter in the mail asking for more information a week after! Call me crazy, but when you sign up to be a dog groomer, you assume a little risk of an anxious dog biting you as you approach them with a razor... We took our dog to Petco the day after to fix the groom and the lady there couldn't have been better. She took an extra minute to actually get familiar with our dog before starting the groom and everything went completely fine. Lack of patience and love for the animals they cut at Malvern Grooms was the reason I would never take our pet there again.... Let alone the report to the county! read more

PREFACE: Malvern Grooms tried to delete my review since they didn't like it. Their previous response was condescending. My main point to this review was simple, the nails were done improperly and they refused to fix it, and they did not communicate appropriately. I have no issue with places that like to please and rectify situations, but when they try to belittle you, not try to fix anything, and then blame you for their incompetence, it's my job to make sure people know about it. ************* Original review: Went to get my dog nails done and they came out all jagged. He now has multiple hang nails where I need to find a new place to fix since they wouldn't (in my picture is one nail). They didn't do any grinding to smooth out the nails so they're still sharp, despite multiple asks. They talked to me about quips, which makes sense in regards to length (but that wasn't my issue). Problem was that since the nails were messed up the first time (jagged), they had no more room to fix them afterward. I know my dog tends to scream when getting nails done but many places take time to make the dogs feel comfortable with treats and things; they did not. I was never informed that they socialize all the dogs that walk in, so I was concerned about how my dog might be or others with him. After they took him back, they wanted their door closed for the back room which was weird to me. I'm guessing it was to hide the mess in the back. Hair everywhere, not clean at all. Employees messing around. Never have I been to a place not willing to show off their facilities or not forthcoming about the unique pet experience to help advise owners for possible dog aggressive concerns. Although I understand the environment they are trying to create, they have to be more willing to share the experience, inform customers of what they should expect, and of course, perform with the actual services as desired. read more

First time taking our cat here for routine grooming - they just started offering this service. Super easy to schedule and helpful text reminders for the appointment and notifications when your pet is ready for pick up. So, very efficient. My only recommendation would be to specify what's included in the grooming service (I would have asked to trim his fuzzy butt). I would give less of a rating if I could. This place will not groom my small, well-behaved rescue who has been groomed without incident for years, sight unseen, because he is 13 years old. Very disappointing. Did not even speak to me. Just had someone call and deliver the message. Will find another more qualified. read more

Malvern Grooms is at a very convenient location with plenty of parking. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. It takes about two weeks to get an appointment but it's worth it! Our dog's cut was done as we asked: so far a " winter " cut and a " spring " cut, next will be a summer cut in about three months. read more

I'm a long time customer And would have given them a five star review before the last few months. Today was the worst. The owners son is one of the rudest people on the planet and should be fired. Such arrogance. And the owner stood there and didn't reign him in. New space, and rates have gone up. Without any notification if your pet stays there after grooming and you can't pick up right away you get charged a $15 boarding fee. I'll be looking elsewhere. Bye to the rude son. read more

I can't say enough about Malvern Grooms. In may of 2016 I took my Yorkie there. At the time Casey was 17 years old and suffered from severe tracheal collapse. I was extremely hesitant to take such a old fragile dog to the groomers but he desperately needed it. After doing much research, I chose Malvern Grooms. I was beyond satisfied- I loved that they were so personal. They remember you, your dog, what you like and don't like. I love that the dogs get to hangout with each other opposed to sitting to in large cage with blow dryers on them. Trish showed me other pictures of dogs that she has styled on her personal cellphone to gauge ideas of what I did and didn't want. After the dogs are groomed, Trish takes photos of the dogs- which she gives to you when you pick your pet up. Casey has since passed away in May of 2018 but Malvern Grooms is the one place that I continuously think about when I think of wonderful service, so much so that I felt the need to write a review two years later. I was super nervous about finding a new groomer for our two dogs once we moved to the Malvern area; they aren't exactly good at the groomer and will not let me touch them with a brush at home.
