The vets have been wonderful and you can always get an appointment with their extended hours. We have a dog with severe anxiety and a few other issues, and he has always been treated wonderfully. The reception staff are so super friendly and are happy to answer any questions new anxious fur-parents may have about their fur-child. The vets are really lovely and were so gentle with my little baby. Dr Ross, who we saw on the second visit for Willis' final vaccinations was particularly awesome. He gave us great advice as new fur-parents and was really reassuring and calming. Willis didn't even yelp, cry or bark once and he got a needle and a nasal vaccination! Amazing. This vet also offers a free, yes FREE, puppy school on Wednesday evenings. We haven't been yet as it was closed over the xmas period, but will be taking Willis next week when it starts up again! So glad this is our local vet! Highly recommend it for all pet owners of Richmond!

I have been taking my dogs there for as long as I can remember and have always received exemplary service. There are currently four vets and six nurses on staff and they are always really friendly. They treat all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, guinea pigs and ferrets. They provide general check-ups as well as more generalized services like radiology, ultrasound and surgery. My dogs tend to love it because they get given treats from their favourite vet Dr. Kent Marshall. He has treated all three of my dogs over the years and always remembers my family when we turn up for various problems like getting the sock my dog swallowed removed from his tummy - yep, that was an embarrassing visit! The clinic has a yard around it where dogs can have one last toilet stop before their appointment and stretch their legs. Inside there is a waiting room, which gets pretty lively when there are a lot of pets. There are pet toys and accessories available for sale in here as well as pet food. Behind the counter is well stocked with various medications that you may purchase upon recommendation from one of the trusted vets. Vaccinated puppies aged between eight and sixteen weeks are eligible to participate in four-week long puppy school. At only $77 for a four week course taught by the really nice vet nurses this is awesome value and your puppy will have a heap of fun meeting the other dogs. Covered in colourful cartoon murals this place is really fun to go to as a kid and animal lovers will enjoy the short interactions with different kinds of pets in the waiting room. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm, Saturday 8am-3pm and Sunday 10am-12noon. They are closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

The staff are great, and the Vets themselves are really friendly, and genuinely concerned for your pet. Each time my dog has been in, they have completed her treatment with a one on one chat about her health and what procedures went on. Another great thing about Boronia Vet is the price. I tried another vet once, and found their prices 20% higher than those here. Having been completely refurbished recently, the premises are clean and modern, and although I'm sure the animals don't really notice, it is a nice touch for the owners.
