Cash or check only! Delicious ice cream with a lot of different flavors to select from. Went there with a large group and they were able to handle us without difficulty. Will be stopping here in the future for sure.

Amazing!!! We have tried all different ice cream shops in the area and Mama Cows is by far the best. There are tons of different flavors. The workers were very friendly and let us try all kinds of samples! They even gave us a free pup cup :). There are couches outside as well as a connect four setup and corn hole.

Loved this place! Ran across this on a drive back from one of the falls and it certainly hit the spot! It was delicious and well priced. It's such a cute little spot too. Staff was very friendly. I got the cookie dough and the mint chocolate on a waffle cone and it was amazing. They have lots of flavor options! They have a super cute seating area as well.

Awesome small town ice cream spot we stumbled upon on our drive home from the upper peninsula! So glad we decided to stop but who can say no to ice cream in the summer? So many flavors to choose from and can customize basically everything! We enjoyed some amazing ice cream while we over looked a beautiful field out back.

Double scoops all around...I had Zanzibar and Exhausted Parent, son had cherry and peach, daughter had black cherry and choc raspberry.

Aside from it being a beautiful drive, pulling in and seeing the cows across the field was pretty great!

Located inside Palms Book State Park, this natural spring was one of the most unique and beautiful places we visited. The water is crystal clear all the way to the bottom, and you can easily see fish swimming below. You hop onto a self-operated raft that you pull across the water to the middle of the spring, where there's an opening in the center to look straight down. It gives you a perfect view of the vibrant underwater world -- it's honestly mesmerizing. It's a quick stop, but totally worth it. And the best part? It's dog-friendly! Definitely add this to your list if you're exploring the Upper Peninsula.

Clear blue water, bubbling sand, never ending springs, a tow boat, and lots of trout are the wonders to see. Everyone gets on the boat and someone (well a few people over the course of the trip) step up to the wheel to tow the boat across the water. The water is mesmerizing. I couldn't take my eyes off the water. Many people can fit on the boat so the wait is not too long. A day pass is $11. Definitely make this stop if you are in the area.

When the line is out the door - you know you arrived at a great place!…read more Food We had multiple people on our party and everyone left satisfied with smiles on their faces despite the rain. The ice cream was fresh, tasted delicious, with several flavors to pick from. The workers suggested delicious flavors that were the most popular. Their suggestions were on point. The prices were perfect as a good value for the scoops given. I had a waffle cone with black cherry and Mackinac Island fudge. My niece really enjoyed her fudge sundae. She ate it so quick we offered her another scoop. To her it was just realllllly good (and she was full off of the portion). I had the Black Cherry ice cream - HIGHLY RECOMMEND- for it had big chunks of black cherries and a nice mild cherry flavor for the base. It was rich and creamy. Mackinac Island Fudge is also highly noteworthy. It has a velvety vanilla base with thick fudge swirls that will even stick out in a scoop from the generous portions. It pairs perfectly with the Black Cherry. The workers mentioned it is very popular. Cleanliness The floor was even clean even though it was super busy. They used clean scoopers for the ice cream. The workers appeared to follow all food safety guidelines (and go above for cleanliness). They took extra time to wear gloves and go above and beyond for our peanut allergy person. They ensured an excellent experience with their steadfast inspection of ingredients. This resulted in her enjoying her ice cream without a reaction. The bathroom was clean with nice foot pedals for the water dispenser. Service All of the workers there were hard working, cheerful, and friendly. My Uncle enjoyed talking to one worker about the sports she plays. We had several questions and the answered all of them. There was not a slow moment for them (line out the door); however, they kept up their hustle and friendliness. Dogs If you bring your fur babies it appears they need to stay outside. Only service animals are allowed inside. Overall, if you are in Marquette, Michigan, you need to stop or plan on it. There is even a nice flower spot around a cow for pictures. Inside there are multiple tables in front of a wall mural of a cow pasture. Highly recommend for all parties to take the time to stop. Several instagram worthy spots for perfect photos.

Ice cream was good, not great, and hospitality was poor…read more We were the only people at the counter so not very busy on a Friday early evening. First of all, there are no samples very clearly stated by a sign in the door. Not super welcoming start. Then I opened the cheese case to check the price on a block of pizza cheese and there was no price to be found. Not on the package or the shelf. Put that back and went to look at ice cream flavors. We were seated having our ice cream when a couple came in behind us and was offered a free sample bag when they checked out. It looked like a small coffee bag but not sure if it was coffee or some sort of cookie/candy. Anyway, after hearing this my husband went past as we were leaving and asked if he could take a bag. He was promptly told they cost $3. Ahh, no thanks and we will not be coming back.
