Gallery Coffee used to be a place I went out of my way to visit every morning while on vacation,…read morebut after watching the experience decline year after year--and repeatedly being met with defensiveness and visible frustration when asking for an incorrectly made $7-$8 drink to be remade--I've finally decided to find a new spot. If you care to read why, I'll explain below. My order is specific, but not complicated: a 12 oz oat milk latte, steamed warm rather than hot. I normally won't ask for a drink to be remade, but at $7-$8 for a 12 oz latte, I do feel like it's reasonable to expect it to be made the way I ordered it. Twice now I've asked for my drink to be remade. The mistake itself isn't really what bothers me--it's how it's handled. Neither time was there an apology or even a simple acknowledgment that it wasn't what I asked for. Instead, the employees became defensive about having made it correctly. What really made the interactions uncomfortable was watching multiple employees huddle together while the drink was being remade, talking amongst themselves about how it had been made correctly the first time, accompanied by frustrated mumbling. It makes you feel like you've done something wrong simply by asking for the drink you paid for. Mistakes happen. I've worked customer-facing jobs, and I absolutely don't expect perfection. But I've rarely seen employees seem so consistently irritated about having to do their job. After experiencing the same attitude more than once and noticing the atmosphere decline over several years, I can't help but wonder if there's a larger management or workplace-culture issue contributing to the negativity. It's genuinely disappointing because Gallery Coffee used to be one of my favorite stops when I visited the area. I kept coming back because of what it used to be, but this trip finally convinced me it's time to find a new morning coffee spot. For anyone looking for an alternative, Falling Rock Cafe is just up the road. The coffee is comparable and the staff have been VERY nice. If you're going through Marquette, Provisions Coffee is absolutely worth the stop--the staff there have been incredibly welcoming and warm.

My water with ice (and same with the other glasses including ice) all contained black stuff. Simply clean your ice machine. (I forgot exactly what the black stuff is but I know you don't want it. It's a sign your ice machine is dirty.) The space is small and attracts a lot of customers. So it's loud and you can't always hear others. (Not the business's fault. Just something to keep in mind for customers incase you don't like loud noises.) The service is good! They clean and take your orders quickly. No complaints there. The scenery is also great! No complaints there either! The seats are all hard. None of them are cushioned. (Incase you don't like hard seats.) WiFi is provided! Now for the food, The displays are amazing! The food comes out and looks very nice. Well done! I ordered the Blueberry Pancakes and it came out with a smiley face. (Whipped cream was included) The pancakes tasted delicious!! They were crispy on the outside while soft and fluffy on the inside! They weren't extremely sweet, which is great!! I love being able to eat pancakes and not having to stop eating them because it's too much sugar. For pricing, it is a little bit expensive. For example, a cup of coffee is $4.50. HOWEVER! As someone who used to work in a small business that was a coffee shop, this is very understandable. Coffee beans have gotten expensive recently. And plus, you need to make money in order to continue your business. So I have no complaints about that. Overall, this is a great place! I would fully reccomend going if you stop by!

We sat on the patio and enjoyed some nice delicious refreshments of the cider nature. The merch was on point as well as so many stickers to choose from. They have everything I look for in a brewery - outdoor seating that's dog friendly, food handily available, and a solid beer menu. Our bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Super helpful to mama as she tried to decide which beers to get in her flight. They actually have two outdoor seating areas - a nice patio just off the bar and a rooftop deck above the patio. We arrived too late to order from their kitchen but there's a pizza joint next door that looked like it had good stuff too. Overall, good experience, and I'd be happy to drive a half hour off the beaten path to visit again. My rating scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here
