They were outside of Lady Justice so I picked up some dinner to go with my beer. I ordered the gyro and a side of dolmas. He asked what heat level I would like and I went with medium. I was given a beeper and headed back in to enjoy some beer. In a short while, my signal went off and I popped out to get my order. The gyro plate was meat on top of rice with hummus, mixed veg salad and pita. The meat had sauce drizzled across the top and that was where my medium heat came in. Delicious! It was 5:30 PM on a Saturday at Call To Arms Brewing. But, it sure felt like the food had been sitting around since at least noon. The Gyro plate and the Sharwama together cost is close to $40 and everything was a little, or more than a little off. The meat had tons of burnt bits in it that were very hard to chew, and the predominant flavor on both the Shawarma and the Gyro was just saltiness. The rice was dried out. The hummus lacked acid and so just tasted like salty, watery puréed chickpeas. The cucumber salad appeared to have at least one rotten vegetable in it, and also lacked any acid in the flavoring. About the nicest thing I could say is that you got a fair amount of food for your money. It's just too bad that it wasn't significantly better. read more

Went out of our way to a brewery hosting this food truck because we love Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food, and are lacking good options north of Denver. Ordered the small gyro and large falafel plates. The man in the truck told me that the kebabs weren't ready, which confused me as I wasn't ordering kebabs and they aren't on the menu. I repeated that I wanted a gyro and falafel. We did this a couple of times. I received a large gyro and small chicken shawarma (large has bread and hummus). I eat primarily vegetarian (hence ordering falafel), but was very hungry and do like chicken shawarma, so was ok with the error. However, the chicken was overly seasoned so that it almost tasted like the chicken had gone bad (too much sumac??) The butchering of the chicken was subpar--my first bite was cartilage, then I found a large-ish piece splintered chicken bones, other pieces had a lot of connective bits on them. I don't care for gyros, but the gyro was safer to eat and was much tastier than the chicken. My partner loves gyros, and thought it was just ok. Both dishes were liberally covered with an unnamed/unlisted sauce that saturated the meat and rice (and hid the gross chicken pieces in my dish). The "salad" was simply cut up tomato and some olives--no seasoning, dressing or lettuce--just garnish really, and shouldn't be listed as a side. The hummus and bread were also disappointing--neither had any flavor. The hummus was thick, and the pita was thin, more like a lavash than the chewy pita I expected. The high point was the rice, which was fluffy and delicious. Certainly not worth the $40+ with tip we spent. read more

This family owned and operated food truck is DELICIOUS! They were at the Belmar Bash- when we saw their line we checked out the menu and couldn't pass them up! Line was long, and we needed to wait a minute for the food- well worth the wait!! All home made and so good. They were pushing out orders left and right, everyone around was pleased, and rightly so! We tried the chicken, Shawarma plate, delicious rice with your choice of protein (we had chicken), delicious yogurt sauce, and to top it all off, it came with pita bread and homemade hummus. The large plate was plenty for 2. They offered small plates, large plates and wraps! The beautiful lady at the window was so nice, when I asked to get a photo, they were delighted- I will definitely follow this truck around town! They have a couple loyal customers in us! read more

One of the best food truck experiences I've had! Checked this place out at Cheesman Park Art Festival and was impressed- gyro wrap was freshly made, filled with pickled red onion and other vegetables- gyro itself was both juicy and crispy on the edges. Pita was soft but did not fall apart. The chicken Mediterranean salad was perfectly seasoned, and had a variety of yummy ingredients such as tomatoes, leafy greens, olives, cucumbers. A+ read more

I never leave negative reviews, but gotta share with others that the hummus tasted simply like garbanzo beans and not more and chicken and shwarma sauce lacked flavor that I'm used to elsewhere. Hopefully just an off night. read more

this was a wonderful and welcomed surprise. We were having drinks at Colorado Tap House and being Middle EastErin food fanatics we gave it a try with hesitation. The chef promised us that the shawarma rivaled and beat any restaurant in town. We loved their shawarma and falafel. I was at Zuni Street Brewery and ordered a chicken kabob plate from the Mama Kabob food truck. It was so good! The service was fast and the plate came with a LOT of food: two pita triangles, hummus with oil, cucumber tomato onion salad, rice, and chicken kabob with a yummy tahini-ish sauce on top. The food tasted fresh and I was really happy that the shredded chicken didn't have any gross tendon-y or grisly parts that often show up in plates like that. I loved my food and would like to try their other options as well! read more

Had the Gyro Wrap, it was okay for flavor but the slices of lamb were pre-packaged pre-cut slices. Not worth the 13 dollars for something so low-effort.
