Tikka Masala is atrocious. Overly sweet, watery-thin, and made with rubbery pre-cooked chicken. Extremely disappointing.

Excellent Indian food. Their extra spicy would even fit in India! An extensive menu well done.

The Tikka Saag, garlic naan and momo have been my go to and they are so good I have a hard time changing up my order.

The restaurant was warm and bright on the inside. There were quite a few booths/tables and they were able to sit our party of 7 immediately. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. They answered our questions and gave us great recommendations. This is one of the few Indian food places I have been to that has southern indian dishes as well as the to-be-expected curry and northern indian dishes. This place has dosas and they are delicious and massive! They also have dal makhani which was amazing. The mutton briyani was so flavorful and a perfect amount of spice. Plus, all the additional curries we had were equally delicious. We also tried, from the staff's suggestion, the carrot pudding for dessert and it was such a warm and delicious way to end the meal. This is such an amazing indian food spot in the Superior and I highly recommend if you are in the area!

This is hands down the best Indian food we've ever had. I ordered the Shahenshah chicken and let me just say delicious would be an understatement. The depth of flavor was nothing short of incredible. My husband chose the lamb Rogen Josh, which he has ordered at several other restaurants. However, one bite told us this was on a level of its own. I would be remiss if I did not also mention the friendly, hardworking and efficient staff, as well as the pleasant atmosphere. We will certainly return sometime soon and I know we must try other entrees, but it will be difficult after having tasted these two amazing dishes.

In the background foreign music played. Our waitress took our order. While we waited we enjoyed a quiet ambiance. The wait was well worth it (not too long and too quick...just right). Our eyes grew big as the butter chicken and chicken tikki Marsala and Palak paneer were laid out on our table. The sheer beauty of the shimmering garlic naan, bright red chicken sauce contrasting against the white rice and green paneer was a fabulous presentation of Indian delight. As we began to dig in, we savored every bite. It hit the spot! You know the spot in your soul and stomach that craves something amazingly delicious. Yeah that part! Thank you Durbar for a lovely date night experience both in the service as well as in the quality of food.

Our waiter was very patient and friendly, letting us take our time reviewing the menu despite being near closing hour. Started off our meal with some fried momos - yum! We got the Indian thakali set and chicken biryani. My god, the BEST biryani we've ever tasted. That's coming from eating out fair share in the Bay Area. The rice was flavorful with whole spices included. The Thakali set was also amazing, coming with rice, curry, tikka masala and dal, tandoori chicken, two pieces of naan, and dessert. Both portions were very generous - definitely plan to take leftovers home! We went on a very windy and cold day and even got free chai tea to go with our meals. Honestly, the best Indian food we've had between California and the Southwest. We will definitely come back when we're in the area again!!

If they can keep up this quality of food and service, they will certainly be a success, even in a town not particularly location friendly to food trucks. Boulder has a lot of ordinances regarding these endeavors and rightly so in many ways. Pearl Street can not be clogged with trucks and the local businesses who have set up on the Mall at exorbitant rental rates need to have a fair chance to survive. But there is a lot of potential in the business parks and other locations the city is considering. The food from this truck might convince the powers that be! The thing that makes this truck easy to access and not just a random encounter is the incredibly detailed schedule and location calendar on their website. Do check it out and see if they will be near you. Not only are they doing lunch at business parks but they are venturing out to many breweries and events in the evenings, some well outside of Boulder. The lack of this has been the failing of several well liked trucks that I have tried to find in the past. An accurate and reliable calendar is a must. On to the food. I really wanted a savory crepe for lunch since they are not easy to come by in a casual lunch in Boulder any more. Today's crepe was ham, cheese and spinach. The crepe was freshly made to order, all of the ingredients were fresh, tasty and hot and melty, the crepe itself, perfectly browned but not tough or burned. Finding that point between under and over cooked is something I care about. This was just perfect. Wrapped in a traditional easy to hold paper wrapper, full enough to satisfy, but not drippy or messy to eat. The price was $10, but that included the tax, so I think it was fair for the serving. There was a simple dessert crepe for $7. They have several drinks available, all good choices with french food, several flavored Pelllegrino varieties, Perrier, and Mexican Coke. The most popular item being ordered by people in line today was the Croque Madame, a pretty big meal for a lunch for me, but I will find the truck on a day when I am super hungry and give it a try. I do love these when properly made. If it turns out to be as good as the crepe, I could see 5 stars in their future. Here is their web address to make finding them easy, http://thetwisttruck.com
