Wow bao!!! Is what I said while eating their chicken bao bowl. The bowl was 9 bucks which ain't cheap but the portion size was quite large which I appreciated. The chicken was very very good. The seasoning was spot on and they developed on awesome char on it. They cut the chicken into strips and drizzled a homemade zesty sauce on top. They use chicken thighs which is my preference but to some may not be your thing. The chicken sat on a bed of really deliciously seasoned rice. They accompanied the dish with plenty pickled cucumbers and some fresh jalops. Every bite of this dish was heaven. Especially, washing it down to with some bomb beer from Rails End Beer company. The guys that run the truck are super friendly. I'm likely going to start craving this dish again soon and will be hunting these guys down. Wow bao! read more

I find this young company to be amazing! They do their due diligence and beyond! The customer service is always exceptional the Food is made right before your eyes so if you have a special request it's no big deal and they don't make a big deal of it trust me I am picky and build my own meals every day and they welcome it with a smile! Please help support this local business help it thrive grow and succeed by doing business with them! Their price point is totally beyond reasonable... Oh man I love this food truck. Their street tacos are amazing. The owner is nice and friendly and remembers us which is nice. Seriously try this place you will not be disappointed. I like to catch them at rails end brewery and have a nice cold blood orange double IPA with my tacos. My wife loves their bahn mi (sp?) bowl. Great value for money too. We happened across Ruby Ru's while getting a couple of beers at Twenty Brew TapHouse. The bourbon chicken was fantastic and the mac & cheese had a hint of a spicy kick to it. The owner, Chris is extremely friendly and personable, and he and I chatted for a while between him delivering orders inside. At the very least, just give Ruby Ru's a shot, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. My wife and I walked away very impressed, and I'm looking forward to the next time! read more

My husband and I went for our first taste of Ruby Ru's today and oh. my. gosh. It exceeded all expectations! They use local ingredients and you could taste how fresh everything was. The menu had two options today - a sausage dish and the signature bourbon chicken dish (both only $5!). Naturally, we ordered one of each! The sausage was juicy, spiced just right, and delicious. It had a side of potato salad and a slaw - both NOT mayo based which was glorious, as I'm trying to eat healthier and my husband is mayo-phobic (besides, I feel like mayo can drown out flavor in many cases). The slaw was bright, crunchy, and fresh, and whatever variety of potatoes he used, they tasted deliciously buttery besides no evidence that I could see of them actually containing butter. lots of parsley, little vinegar, huge flavor. After I'd eaten some bites of that, I of course snuck bites off my husband's plate and was once again delighted. The sauce on the bourbon chicken was amazing, and the chicken itself was cooked perfectly - super juicy on the inside, with a bit of that grill-char that you want on the edges. It was great. It came with a side of creamy mac and cheese which really hit the spot. We loved our first taste of Ruby Ru's and we will be back! TLDR: You won't be disappointed. Go eat at Ruby Ru's. Order the Bourbon Chicken. Or really anything on the menu, it's all amazing! read more
