Worked with Meghan for almost a year and will try to give a balanced review. Her initial response was great and she strikes you as very responsible. Quoted a fair price. Talked about thoroughness. I will say she works hard when she shows up and is excellent at cleaning. However, 75% of the time, conflicts arise and she doesn't come when she says she's coming. Because she did good work and she is the mother of young kids, my husband and I were very patient with all the reschedules, but at times, it put us out. I even paid her once via Venmo when she couldn't come for a few weeks to tide her over because things were tight for her. She works very hard when she's there, but she was trying to do it in three hours which is like $80/hour. She never really wanted to wash the linens/towels while she was here which my prior cleaners did because the laundry takes longer (she did do it sometimes). She made it very clear that she wanted to decide what she offered and when. In the end, it was all about her and not about client satisfaction. She fired me as a client for not having paid her Intuit invoice within 24 hours of the clean. I was at work till 7:30p that night, was scrambling to do taxes for my mom with dementia and was having computer trouble and she kept pestering me even though I said I would get to it that night. I have paid the invoice at 10 PM before. The pestering finally pissed me off because of all the understanding we have extended her. We are good, reliable people who pay good money for services in a timely fashion. We had a cleaner for 10 years until she moved who NEVER did that to me if I ran out of the house without leaving a payment. I ALWAYS pay. In the end, Meghan is overly self righteous and not that reliable. She has a chip on her shoulder and it's turns out to be all about her. She is talented, but it's not worth the investment of time with her. Sad I really believed her. read more

Do not recommend - very unreliable and unprofessional My roommate and I had a terrible experience with the cleaner - Meghan. We were trying to find a cleaner for our rental and spoke to Meghan over the phone. Her initial response was great - she talked about how detailed and thorough she is and quoted a fair price. Based on that, we booked her for a date a week later and even said no to other cleaners. A few hours before the scheduled appointment, she texted saying she was caught up cleaning an airbnb and asked to reschedule. My roommate was very understanding and agreed to a later date - even though our cleaning was urgent. Four days later, even after confirming with her the night before, she texted at 7 a.m. on the morning of the booking saying her child was sick and she needed to cancel again. We had been patient and accommodating each time, but this last-minute cancellation with no real apology or accountability was extremely unprofessional. We completely understand that family emergencies happen, but this level of unreliability - twice in a row - is not okay. Reliability and communication are basic expectations when running a business. Unfortunately, our experience does not align with the 5-star reviews, and we feel we wasted a lot of time just because of the positive reviews online. read more

Meghan has been cleaning for us for a few months and has been reliable and professional. She does an extremely thorough job in her cleaning and the house always smells great when she's done. She works hard to please her clients and is pretty nitpicky in her work, which is what you want in a house cleaner. I recommend her service highly. read more
