I waited until the day before a big day at work to decide what to wear and realized my outfit choice required getting a pedicure. In a panic I googled nail salons near me because the place I usually go is across town and I didn't have time for that with such short notice. I called Mama Mia and they were able to get me in for a pedicure right away. I interacted with my nail person and another person while there - both were incredible kind and helpful. The lady who did my pedicure was great. I have very sensitive feet and I never once felt any form of discomfort. My toes looked great and the service was amazing. They are a few dollars more than my normal place but the service sets them apart and this will be my new nail salon. read more

The banter between customers and the staff was fun and made this a place you want to visit and come back. The prices were as to be expected and the staff all gave an estimate as they started which I appreciate. My daughter had picked out a nail design and Steven was able to match it perfectly. I expressed concerns about a possible reaction to acrylics and Mia was able to suggest an alternative that allows me the longer nail I wanted. She also was able to recreate a design I picked. I brought my own nail polish (I'm weird and get really anxious trying to pick a nail color) and the staff was totally fine with that. The staff member performing my pedicure had excellent technique and kept checking on me to make sure the water temperature was right and the wax wasn't too hot or cold. I don't usually post bad reviews and I usually only use yelp to review places I enjoyed. I really did want to love this place and I debated a while about posting an update for a while, but I've gone to multiple other places and haven't had the same issue. The first time I got my nails done it costed 120, 144 with tip. It was probably the most I've spent for removal and a new set at a nail salon, but they were prefect and all the same exact size/shape. I came back received a fill and it was the same exact price and took even longer than when I had a removal + a new set. I took about 3 hours and had my first nail break within 2 days of getting them done. I was so upset that I didn't even bother coming back to get them fixed. About a week and a half after I got them done, I had 7/10 nails break. I would definitely recommend looking into local nail techs, I haven't been to a nail salon since! read more

My mom and I both came in randomly because we forgot to make an appointment at our usual salon and we weren't planning on going as I had just gotten surgery. It was fairly empty when we came in, as it is fairly Mama Mia's nails salon is hands down SUPER BEAUTIFUL. Everything is brand new, super clean. She herself is so fabulous. We both decided to get the "DELUXE PEDICURE" which included this super cute package of scented items such as sugar scrub lotion. I chose citrus and my mom chose mint. It was a bit more for a gel pedicure add on, which I do in the winter only because it helps when I wear boots. As you can see they came out cute. My mom and I both get ingrown toenail's that were not removed during our pedicure we were super disappointed that neither one of our techs got those details I ended up removing mine and my hers on the 3rd day after. I didn't really notice till 2 days after because it's more noticeable after I wear closed toed shoes for a few days in a row. Anyways, overall we had a very pleasant experience and we will be back. This was the sloppiest gel pedicure of my life. It was messy and lumpy and I had to request it to be redone. ‍ I had plans to get a full acrylic set as well and told them I was no longer interested because I didn't want to risk it. The girl was so angry with me when she filed off the pedi to fix it she burned me with the tool because she was rushing. I had to tell her multiple times, "you're hurting me". Two of my toes have cuts along the cuticle and the pedicure still looks almost as sloppy as before. Just pay to go anywhere else. read more
