Stopped by this place for dessert after visiting one of the restaurants in the same plaza (there is quite a selection: pizza, Mexican taco, Vietnamese pho, Korean fried chicken, just to name a few) for lunch. I am totally in love with this place. Cute decor, clean place, very friendly staff, and of course, delicious ice cream. Quite a wide selection with interesting flavors. The coffee is nice too. At the counter they have pop-up chargers should you need to recharge your phone as well as yourself. My friend and I stopped by Piu Argentinian Ice Cream after grabbing pho nearby and walking back to our car. The bright orange interior was literally calling out to us, we had to go in. This spot is so cute. It's very aesthetically pleasing, bright, and welcoming. Piu is an Argentinian ice cream shop with a great variety of flavors. We tried a few, and the chocolate was definitely my favorite. It's such a great place to bring friends or kids for a sweet treat. So i really wanted to be able to rave about this place but I felt like they were super stingy like the owner must have trained the young girls working there to be cheap with the servings and the samples. I asked to sample a few flavors to make my decision and the girl gave me such small samples i couldn't even tell if i like the flavor or not. i decided on my ice cream which was good I am gonna give credit where credit is due but again the girl put such a small amount and didn't even pack the ice cream like she had direct orders from the owner to be cheap with it. and for the price as high as it is for that place maybe you shouldn't be that way read more

EASY ***** STARS.. Stopped in here tonight with friends for the first time. The light colors perfectly accentuated by the multi colored smooth gelato tubs really set the tone for a relaxed yet fun experience. Loved the cute low sitting tables and the bar top against the windows really lifted the atmosphere to a realm of comfort and the anticipation of the icy treat to come. The never ending samples of gelato were provided by the chatty ice cream scoopers who told us which flavors sparked most customer's palates. There were a few that peaked my interest, but after an arduous decision, finally chose a two scoop blend of Dolce de Leche and Oreo Cookie. The final creation was presented in a tiny cup with the two flavors wedged side by side and complemented by a full oreo cookie garnish priced extremely high at $8.00. Instantly noticed that the gelato had a smoother consistancy than traditional ice cream and melted much slower with a grand taste. The pet friendly environment was immediately noticed with two metal water bowls situated in a floor level wooden shelf. Don't worry, icy dog treats are offered for $7.50 for them to lick while you enjoy your dessert in peace. The gender neutral bathroom provided an ultra modern spotless space boasting a white deep square high edged sink, coarse lined walls and wide gray tile flooring. The ice cream was extra creamy, decadent, and flavorful. They have a variety of options to suit differences in tastes - fruity, chocolatey, tart, sweet, and nutty. We have tried a few flavors so far - the mint chocolate chip, Nutella, kinder joy, chocolate, coconut, lemon, & cookies and cream. My favorite was the lemon flavor as it was the perfect combination of creaminess and tartness. It gave a comforting feeling without leaving you feeling sluggish. I love the gelato here but had a less than pleasant experience last night. I called Piu ahead of time to make sure they had dairy free options for my 3 year old in which they did. I arrived and asked for the sorbet options .. after seeing the options I asked if they could get the sorbet from the back (any other ice cream place I've gone to has done so with no problem at all due to cross contamination) as my son is highly allergic . The girl behind the counter simply told me no and said there's just a risk. I then pointed out that there was chocolate ice cream IN the dairy free ice cream and she STILL told me no. I was very disappointed in the customer service .. the young lady was beyond less than helpful and very dismissive. The fact that they were not able to accommodate getting ice cream from the back with it being the most simple task so a toddler could have ice cream is mind blowing to me. They definetly lost a customer. read more
