After a brunch that didn't quite satisfy our coffee cravings, we stumbled across the perfect little café tucked just across the courtyard in the Design District. It was one of those places that is somewhat unassuming from outside, then instantly catches your eye once you walk in. Small, but full of charm, with lush greenery hanging from the ceiling and a cozy atmosphere. We were lucky enough to snag a small table, which worked out well since one of our friends can't be on her feet too long. It was a low-key moment, but the coffee was what we were after and well worth the detour.

I went here when visiting Florida. I usually am a coffee drinker, but I wanted something different on this day. I ordered a specialty lemonade and it was so delicious. The girl at the counter helped me in choosing and I truly appreciated that. We sat outside and the ambiance was so pretty. It had a European feel to it which I loved. My friend loved her drink too. It was a great experience! I'm so glad we ended up stumbling upon this super cute spot!

Had a very tasty honey butter latte from this cafe! It was a perfect balance of sweet and a little bit salty. The cafe itself was cute with an abundance of outdoor seating and some indoor seating as well. The person who took our order however was quite rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. Although I loved my latter the person I was with said that her matcha did not taste very good.

Cozy cafe tucked away in the heart of Design District! There is plenty of shaded seating outside to enjoy the weather, there isn't too much seating indoors (and there's fans circulating the air but no AC). The pistachio croissant is my favorite, inside is a cream that pairs so well with the dessert and it's not too sweet either which is great! The matcha lattes are unsweetened, so you really get a taste of that matcha powder. Service is quick and friendly. And there is someone making sure the tables are consistently clean and brings orders to where you're seated. This place is great for a quick break and to relax!

What an adorable location! The athletics of this place makes you feel like apart of the tea party. Service was great and attentive nonetheless! The breakfast bowl was a hit along with the breakfast sandwich! I do wish the dishes came with sides but I guess the bright side is portion control ‍. There lattes are delicious and their sizes were very generous. Overall would go back but the one critique I could give is less of a bake on the pastries and bread. We almost felt like the side of toast was a crostini.

Just stopped in for a water so I'm not sure how the beverages and food is but it was such a cute little place.

petite] mamas is tucked away in a quieter plaza of the Design District, making it a lovely little escape from the buzz. The outdoor seating adds to the charm, and it is the perfect spot if you are shopping in the area or just want something quick but really good. The food and drinks: The quiche Lorraine was fantastic, rich and flavorful. The Wild Blueberry latte was out of this world, creamy, unique, and worth returning for all on its own. The pineapple cube instantly transported me to a tropical vacation, light and refreshing. The peach and cream Danish was also very good with just the right touch of sweetness. The service: Friendly and quick, exactly what you want in a café setting like this. Bottom line: A great little find for coffee and bites in the Design District. With tasty food, fun drinks, and a charming atmosphere, it is worth a stop whether you are shopping or just in the mood for a casual treat.

Plenty of seating inside and outside. There was a group having a meeting who were a little loud, but otherwise, it was quite pleasant inside. The steak sandwich is very thin, shaved pieces. It has a good taste and portion size. Service is ordering at the counter, and they bring the food to you. They have a water station where you may serve yourself water. The pistachio olive oil cake was okay. It didn't really excite my taste buds like I had hoped.

Orange Chocolate Cheesecake Croissant Cube. This is perfection. Just a hint of sweetness. The orange + chocolate combo though!

This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!! Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent. The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait! Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich. We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Sorry for this super late review. Lol. I was at maman this past weekend after the South Florida Seafood Festival. I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped. Bonus: maman uses the InKind app. I got a $10 off $20 discount using my app. SCORE!!! Everything I've had at maman: * Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant * Eggs Ratatouille * Croque maman * Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich * Sangria Tropicale * Mom-osa * Bellini * Frosé * Honey Lavendar Latte * Espresso d'Orange * Kouign maman * Banana Walnut Bread maman has about 40 locations nationwide including NY, FL, NJ, CT, DC, MD, PA, Montreal and Toronto. Check them out. You won't be sorry!

Such a cute spot. Stopped in for a bite between a meeting and event. It's set back in the courtyard for great people watching. The team was super friendly. Pricing was a bit expensive but Miami. It was a nice place to sit back and hang out. Would for sure come back. I got a latte and the Katie sandwich both were flavorful and the focaccia on the sandwich was amazing

Three words: LEMON. LAVENDER. MATCHA. Absolute CRACK!! I love the damn drink and have been opting for Matcha drinks like this lately instead of lattes. That being said, this location will add a shot of Chai to your matcha latte, which is BIG brownie points in my book. Even without the shot, it's also quite good. Love stopping by here when I get the chance, and I live on the west side of town. Definitely try them AT THIS LOCATION (Coral Gables doesn't do the shot for some reason and the Sunset Harbor location makes the Lemon Lavender Matcha a bit different. Maybe it's a barista thing?) Will absolutely be back!

dropped in to try their chocolate chip cookie I heard so much about... unfortunately it was sold-out so i got the nutty chocolate chip cookie and my friend got the cheddar chive scone. The cookie I got was actually pretty good and well balanced.. not too sugary, not too butter, and the texture was great... so I' looking forward to try their regular chocolate chi on another day. My friend liked her scone and she let me try it... now in general ive never like scones.. so i was really impressed as it was so good i went back for another taste. Gentleman at the counter was very friendly and so was the staff. He took the time to talk about the different options as well as suggested the cookie I ended up getting since the one i was looking for was sold out. The space was also very well laid out and inviting so id definitely be happy to dine in again on a future visit.

Amazing coffee. Amazing guava beignet. Tons of outdoor seating by the design district close to a food hall. Really enjoyed our quick stop.

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

I happened to be in the area so I checked out this place which was pretty cool. They had bar seating, couch seating with tables as well as outdoor seating. A lot of people were there working on their computers while having drinks and pastries. I had a salted caramel latte which I ordered at the computer and was served quickly. I requested it with oat milk, but it was made with whole milk and the barista had no issue remaking it for me, which was nice. The flavor was amazing with just the right amount of salt and caramel; it was not too sweet and it was very smooth. The only issue I had was the parking, there was absolutely no place to park so I had to double park in an alley and run in to get my drink. However, I imagine if you live or work in the area it would be a cute place to pop in and get a beverage. They also had empanadas and some various pound cake slices which people were partaking in so I imagine they were decent.
