I was looking for coffee and snacks while walking the Design District and Maman hit the spot! I grabbed a black iced coffee and the cheddar scallion scone. The coffee was brewed well, and the scone was quite pleasant! It wasn't dry at all, and had the faintest hint of sweetness along with the savory taste from the cheese. I also tried a bite of the Wilde sandwich, and thought the smoked salmon had good flavor (not too strong or artificial) and that overall it was light and fresh. Prices are high for what they provide, but I guess that goes with the area. The place is very small too, with most seating outdoors - not great for summer or for rain. Still, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed their food and would drop by again if in the area. read more

After a brunch that didn't quite satisfy our coffee cravings, we stumbled across the perfect little café tucked just across the courtyard in the Design District. It was one of those places that is somewhat unassuming from outside, then instantly catches your eye once you walk in. Small, but full of charm, with lush greenery hanging from the ceiling and a cozy atmosphere. I went here when visiting Florida. I usually am a coffee drinker, but I wanted something different on this day. I ordered a specialty lemonade and it was so delicious. The girl at the counter helped me in choosing and I truly appreciated that. We sat outside and the ambiance was so pretty. It had a European feel to it which I loved. My friend loved her drink too. Cozy cafe tucked away in the heart of Design District! There is plenty of shaded seating outside to enjoy the weather, there isn't too much seating indoors (and there's fans circulating the air but no AC). The pistachio croissant is my favorite, inside is a cream that pairs so well with the dessert and it's not too sweet either which is great! The matcha lattes are unsweetened, so you really get a taste of that matcha powder. Service is quick and friendly. What an adorable location! The athletics of this place makes you feel like apart of the tea party. Service was great and attentive nonetheless! The breakfast bowl was a hit along with the breakfast sandwich! I do wish the dishes came with sides but I guess the bright side is portion control ‍. There lattes are delicious and their sizes were very generous. Overall would go back but the one critique I could give is less of a bake on the pastries and bread. This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!! Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent. The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait! Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich. We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped. Three words: LEMON. LAVENDER. MATCHA. Absolute CRACK!! I love the damn drink and have been opting for Matcha drinks like this lately instead of lattes. That being said, this location will add a shot of Chai to your matcha latte, which is BIG brownie points in my book. Even without the shot, it's also quite good. Love stopping by here when I get the chance, and I live on the west side of town. dropped in to try their chocolate chip cookie I heard so much about... unfortunately it was sold-out so i got the nutty chocolate chip cookie and my friend got the cheddar chive scone. The cookie I got was actually pretty good and well balanced.. not too sugary, not too butter, and the texture was great... so I' looking forward to try their regular chocolate chi on another day. My friend liked her scone and she let me try it... now in general ive never like scones.. so i was really impressed as it was so good i went back for another taste. The lovely young lady at the Biscayne Beach/Edgewater location made me the MOST DELICIOUS almond croissant latte on 3/20/26!! It was the most fantastic coffee drink I've tasted in months. I was in heaven. The next day, I ordered the same drink at this Maman in Design District - it was a huge disappointment :(... no slivered almonds on top, rushed, minimal flavor, no love. To start off, the staff was so kind and accommodating, a few guests in our party were running a little late and our server was so patient with that delay. Maman was a total miss for me. I hate to say it, but the pastries look better than they taste. The only remarkable thing about this place was the attention to detail and aesthetics. During the weekend you can anticipate a long wait potentially an hour or so. The space itself is small and seating is packed. I came on a rainy Saturday afternoon and still waited for 30 min with a dozen people. There was hardly space to put my purse down and several times being asked to move and "excuse me" because of how busy it was. This is to be expected considering the popularity in NYC but if you're looking for comfort over chaos, be advised. Our party of 3 had the intention of ordering more food but called it a day and decided to find brunch elsewhere. The savior was the vegan carrot cake. An absolute must and the last minute swap we almost did not order. It was one of the best desserts I've ever had! The small maman "llight" is a bit of a letdown on so many fronts. There are plenty of tables outside if you like sun and it's a non-scorchingly hot day. The number of seats inside is very tiny. The service is a lot different. Very hustle and bustle. Also when you eat in, everything comes in little cardboard containers, which is very against the vibe they set up at the rest of the restaurants. The biggest problem was that I ordered a vegan cake that had rhubarb and some other things in it. But it should not have had in there was walnuts. It didn't mention walnuts on the card for it. When I went bite into the end of the crummy part of the cake, though it tasted something that was making my tongue, tingle and swell. Then I found a couple of big pieces of walnut in the edge of the cake further back. I went up to the counter with it. They pulled out the book with the ingredients.. Apparently that particular cake is not supposed to have walnuts. How they got in there? I have no idea. Is it making me a bit more unhappy about What happened? Yes All in it was a very memorable experience, but not of the good kind. I would happily visit the other locations. This one is a little too much of too little for me. read more

Came here on a holiday weekend, so they were doing seated service which they said was not standard, so I cannot speak to the normal service. This was a bit disjointed. It took a while to place the order or get water at the table. But, once the food came it was great! We started with the gingerbread croissant cube and the pistachio orange olive oil cake. Both were delicious. I slightly preferred the olive oil cake it was very moist and the right level of sweet. The croissant cube was good, but I would be eager to try one with some brighter flavors like a citrus hint or something. I got the seasonal pistachio wreath cappuccino. It was good, but not outstanding. I would probably opt for one of their standard cappuccinos next time. For my main I got the smoked salmon everything croissant. This was AMAZING! The whipped lemon cream cheese brought the perfect brightness to it! I would go back just for this. Ambiance was nice. I think it would be really enjoyable on a less crowded day. read more

So glad Maman opened in wynwood! Went on a Saturday and the restaurant was packed. We went right at lunch time so definitely recommend going a little after the lunch rush to avoid a wait. They had a lot of different savory and sweet options. I opted for the ham and cheese croissant sandwich. The croissant wasn't what I expected. It was round and had a hard crust with an everything bagel seasoning. It was really good and had a decent amount of ham within the sandwich. As a sweet option we got the pain au chocolate perdu for the table. This dish was super rich, I think one piece is all you need. I can't imagine having this as my main dish, but it's perfect to share with someone. The honey lavender iced coffee is excellent. You really taste the honey and lavender without it being overpowering. Will definitely be back to try out the other menu options! read more

I think I'm in love...... Since living in miami, I've gotten quite jaded by cute brunch places with mediocre food. After a while, it's all just potato's and eggs and waffles etc. However, maman has brought my love for going out for brunch again. I got the papa breakfast bowl, iced earl gray latte, and the belgian waffles. - breakfast bowl: potatoes were flavorful and actually cooked throughly. Egg yolk could have been a tad bit runnier for over easy. I wish there was more kale since there were only a few measly leaves. Overall delicious but a bit oily and heavy on the potato. Would definitely get again if I could have more kale on it. - belgian waffles were AMAZING. We tackled it after our savory dish and it was still super crispy. It is quite sweet with the cream so I didn't need the syrup at all. I would definitely get these again. The service was great but I wish they filled the bottles of water more, especially since these dishes are quite savory/sweet. Loved the bright atmosphere. I've been excited to try this new NYC based restaurant in the Wynwood area. I came on a Sunday for brunch and it was quite busy! Very cute decor. Indoor seating is with servers and outdoor seating is for to-go. Luckily we didn't have to wait long. We started with two mimosas, a croissant, and shared the eggs ratatouille. The servers and staff were very kind but due to it being busy it was hard to get their attention/follow up. The mimosas were tasty, the croissant was okay. A bit cold, didn't taste the freshest. Then came the eggs ratatouille. They were cold, the eggs, the toast and the veggies+sauce. I asked the server if it was meant to be cold and he said no, and took it back. Lucky for me they brought out a fresh ratatouille and I was able to enjoy it warm and it was delicious. The eggs and especially the sauce/veggies were a great combination on top of their toast. The feta was so flavorful. The dish really brought all the flavors together. Before leaving we decided to try out some of their pastries. We had the walnut chocolate chip cookie - wow - so so good. Also tried the lavender olive oil slice. It was a bit too rich but the lavender frosting was enjoyable. Good prices for the food/drinks. Okay, this new coffee shop in Wynwood is the cutest! It originated in New York and they recently opened up one here-- and the aesthetic girlies are ecstatic!! You walk in and its adorned with lush greenery, a fresh refrigerator of overnight oats and juices, and little gifts/trinkets like teddy bear shaped mason jars. To drink I had a frozen vanilla latte- it was a delicious cold treat that was a nice pick-me-up in the morning. My friend had an iced coffee and she really liked it. To eat we had the omelet (red peppers, mushrooms, and comte cheese) and the croque maman. With the omelet, definitely opt to pay extra for the toast because it is two thick slices and delicious! The croque was good, but a little too much cheese and the sauce was an overwhelming flavor. We wished there was a little less sauce added. The baristas were friendly and the wait was reasonable. This is a great spot to have bfast, brunch or simply a coffee or tea with friends, family or even by yourself. All of their locations are mostly packed. While so other many places are decaying, Maman is shining and with a lot of customers, showing you are at the right spot. Their coffee and food are pretty good.
