We were staying at a nearby hotel and asked the Front Desk Agent if there were any breakfast places she recommended. She mentioned Paolo Fonatanot without even hesitating so we walked over and as soon as we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The café is simply BEAUTIFUL and there is plenty of seating. I had a mocha latte which was pretty good and a delicious Nutella croissant. I also tried the Capresse sandwich and liked it. Service was also great and special shoutout to Sydney and Lorena who were very attentive and kind. I would definitely come back!

Always a hit, quick in and out or you can sit and work as well. Dog friendly and amazing staff!

To Paolo Fontano (Business Owner), or whomever responded to my original complaint, I strongly recommend that you take a management course to learn how to provide quality service and set a better example in your establishment. Please stop misrepresenting the facts. I ate one toast, and I returned the other untouched because it had a visible white piece of fur on it -- something I clearly pointed out and refused to eat. Why would I take the time to write a complaint if there wasn't a real reason? This situation is deeply disappointing, and your refusal to acknowledge it honestly only makes it worse. I specifically asked that the plate be brought back so we could inspect it together -- why did you refuse that? Let's be clear: fur does not come from raw or smoked salmon. Please don't insult your customers' intelligence. The issue here isn't just about $22 -- it's about integrity and how you treat people. When you told me, "Some customers eat and then complain just to avoid paying," that was offensive and completely unjustified. I've attached screenshots of receipts from previous visits. Have I ever complained before? No. That speaks for itself. It's clear you assume the worst of your customers rather than taking responsibility and responding with professionalism. This experience has been unacceptable. If this is how you handle concerns, perhaps it's time to reevaluate your approach to business and customer care. Please take this feedback seriously -- and stop lying!!!

Beautiful set and pastries are delicious. Staff is very serviceable. Prices are right for the area.

This place was so cute! I went there to lock in with some studying and it was the perfect environment to do so. It was beautifully decorated in Christmas decoration from the door all the way to the register. The staff were all so nice and the place itself was super clean. The coffee shop is two stories and has good lighting. I sat on the bottom floor and it was a perfect area for some studying. I got a vanilla latte which was good and the avocado toast with eggs. They had a bunch of yummy looking pastries to choose from and I regret not getting anything. Will definitely be returning for a sweet treat soon!

What a cute little gem tucked away in Omni! I live right nearby and I think I've found my new go-to study spot! It's perfect for studying or a work from home day, with such a pretty ambiance. I came with my brother on his birthday and the cashier overheard me talking to him about his birthday and brought him a little donut with a candle- how cute! I also ordered some hot tea which was a delicious study drink. I can't wait to come back on my next study day!

What a great selection of quality breads and pastries. The workers are super helpful and explained all the dishes I had questions about. We came for breakfast after a run and I'm so happy we chose to come here. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Nice coffee shop in Edgewater, perfect for remote working with accesible outlets, coffee breaks & delicious baked goods. Enjoyed a pistachio croissant & a cortadito.

Such a nice breakfast spot! The view from the inside of the place is very pretty and the service is good. They have an array of a lot of different options, and it would be hard to find something that doesn't catch your eye! The coffee and the food were tasty and fresh! 10/10

I planned to come here for some time, but it was a bit disappointing. I was expecting something more similar to the bakeries Fontanot has in Italy, but it was far from that. They have a few pastries, some sandwiches that however for most part are not particularly "Italian" and you can find in other places; service was okay but somehow the place looked empty, and I don't mean of people, but of food options. Prices are Miami-downtown prices but without any special reason to repeat the experience. I was definitely expecting more Italian salumi, but there was, little, except for a prosciutto that wasn't among the best I had. Honestly if you don't know prior to visiting, you wouldn't know it's an Italian bakery. Again, maybe I was expecting more because I know their bakeries in Italy, but this seemed a very toned down version of them.

I've come here a handful of times throughout the summer and look forward to the bright atmosphere it brings. There is an upstairs and downstairs seating area for workers, couples, and families (often with young kids and/or dogs, and without being loud adds to the liveliness). The pizza is homemade with a light and fluffy dough. There are lighter baked goods like cream-filled croissants and heavier goods like tarts and eclairs. I've tried a modest selection and liked everything I had. The coffee is well made. After 7:00 pm all the breads and croissants are 50% off, enticing all late coffee drinkers to grab a snack before heading home! Recently the music was a little more loud than preferred but overall it's always a pleasant visit.
