I went in to give this place a 2nd try and I regret it. I asked if they had plain matcha, as in without any extra flavorings, and the lady gave me sass about if I wanted just straight matcha powder. I said "no, I want it in latte form with water and milk just no sugar or anything else." I then asked what ratio of water to matcha they use, and she asked, "do you really need to know that." This is a great place to come for a snack or coffee! The offer a great variety of smoothies as well. I love how open and inviting the space is. There is different seating arrangements to pick from. There are sofas and regular tables, all according to what you prefer. You walk up to the counter and order your food. I got the iberico sandwich and a bottle of wine. The sandwich comes with your choice of a side salad or tostones. I went with the salad. You are then given a number to place on your table, and the food is brought out to you. The sandwich itself was absolutely delicious. It brought me back to Spain. Great quality bread and ham! The salad was meh,,, there was some pieces of lettuce that were wilted. I was craving a coffee before work but the menu grabbed my attention so wanted to try something new. I went with the mustard chicken. I've never had something like this or bread like this. Ambiance. It's an order and sit down style place that gives you a table number. There are a good number of outside tables available which is nice. The service was nice too. My avocado toast was pretty good not outstanding but good enough. The plastic utensils they gave me to cut with wouldn't cut a fly in half so I had to eat with my hands. It's located in a quiet corner of a massive futuristic shopping mall, so does a good job of creating a quiet small oasis. It's a little too brightly lighted and sterile inside though. 3 star food. The food was good but overpriced. My sandwich was also plastic wrapped and from a cold unit on the wall. Self serve premade food should never be this pricey. 2 star service. The staff was more focused on chatting between themselves and bizarrely looked up and chatted for a few more minutes as 5 people waited. There wasn't even a basic thank you at the end. My favorite place to do work and study! I absolutely adore the ambiance and abundance of natural light and it's never been too crowded when I go there, even on weekends. It's situated near the heart of wynwood so very easy to access. I love their apple and cucumber smoothie as it's not too thick but also not too liquidy. I've also had their traditional sandwiches and gazpacho and omelette topped with jamón serrano and crushed tomato. While the foods were delicious, I do get tired of them quickly and wished there were more variety in salads and hot soup options. The staff have been cordial, but I wouldn't call say they are super friendly. read more

I first encounter Rodilla years ago in Madrid, Spain. Fast forward 18 years and I tried it again. I enjoyed it the first time and missed not having it in the states. It's such a great place to grab a quick sandwich half on the go or for a sit down meal with coffee and pastries. The food is delicious and service is good. The interior is inviting and clean. It is also in the Wynwood arts district which is a cool place to explore. We went to this Rodilla location twice while visiting Miami. 10/10 would recommend. read more

The coffee here was pretty average hence the 3/5 rating. It wasn't particularly memorable, especially given the other coffee spots in the area. However, it is a really nice place to sit and study given the bright light, ample chargers, and good number of tables. You won't feel pressured to leave. read more

We were passing by headed for brunch and we noticed this coffee shop and decided to stop by as we noticed the name was from Spain. They weren't too busy, as they only had about 4 tables, but service was a bit slow. A young girl gave us a food menu; however, we only wanted coffee. I am revisiting the restaurant during the COVID pandemic, so are a few words about that. The restaurant now offers outdoor seating. Tables are located in front of the restaurant at an area elevated from the street level. Tables are covered with sunshades and seats are comfortable. You have to order inside, where employees wear masks. Touchless payment and menus available. With that said, the experience was underwhelming. Ordered the jamon and manchgo baguette. Cheese was cut too thick, not enough jamon. The bread was not fresh. The person behind the counter asked us (oh, sacrilege!) to heat up the sandwich. You never heat up jamon, it turns into a salty mess. We refused it, but in hindsight understood what the process should have been - she should have the heated up the bread and then prepared the sandwich, but she never offered us to do that. We also ordered the croquetes, which were good, and the freshly squeezed orange juice. I would have appreciated if the oranges had been chilled before squeezing them. Coffees ranged from mediocre - the capuccino - to a complete disaster - the mocha. The mocha was served at an unappetizing lukewarm temperature, and the chocolate syrup had a horrible off taste. All in all I would just come for the ambiance when Zack the Baker next door is closed on Saturdays. Very poor experience due mostly to lack of attention to detail. read more

The place is so incredibly cute.We went in the morning and found it to be the perfect place to study and eat something yummy. Lots of natural light and the interior decoration is very tasteful. The service was kind and quick with our food. We order simpler but we had for $14, 4 of their sandwiches. Two of them were tuna and one arugula and cheese. I just moved in the area and I really like the idea of having a place like Rodilla in my neighborhood. I gave this place a few chances to redeem themselves every time on service but they are absolutely the worse! I showed up just now on a Saturday at 7:29p and their door were closed. I looked up and it says on that door: "business hours until 8p". I looked inside and they were about to clean the floor and waved at me indicating they are closed. As someone who works very closely in the food industry, the service was really slow, placed the order almost an hour before getting it, the smoothies had a heavy texture to them, the breakfast bowl is 90% potatoes and sauce, bacon thinner than my silk sheets, and the tostones are clearly from a bag grew up eating them and I'm not impressed. The softest croquetas ever, break in your hand when dipping. The only things that were decent were the affogato coffee and butter croissant from Costco. I thought this would be a cute cafe to work from but the music was so loud and I couldn't hear my business calls. I requested them to lower the volume just a little and was told that the manager controls the volume and everytime they turned it down the manager turned it back up. They wouldn't turn it down even when me another customer complained about how loud the music was. And don't get me wrong. I am not against music at a cafe but it was so loud my coworkers on my calls complained they couldn't hear me with the background music. Loud music is cool for places like tap 42 and such but this place was loud for no reason playing Backstreet Boys. Had to leave and find another place. read more

This will be a polarizing place for people. Either you like the small sandwiches that vary in taste or you will think this is airport food. I feel the main problem is presentation. The sandwiches come in prepackaged boxes and use standard sliced bread. No matter how high the quality of products they use the presentation, and how the US consumers view the packaging, will always be a turn off. That being said, I like the portions. I can grab 1-2 if I'm feeling a lighter meal or grab a few more for a bigger meal. My issue are the flavors. There are about 20 different ones but the combinations arent that appealing. Cheese and walnuts? I'll give them a few more visits to see if they rotate their sandwiches flavors otherwise there are way too many interesting places to eat at in wynwood. read more
