1. Service - staff is friendly and attentive. Order and pay at the table. 2. Price - $10+ a bowl. This is average for anything outside Chinatown. 3. Ambiance - small cute place. Modern decor. 4. Food - I recommend their PORK SPRING ROLLS, as they were super tasty. I also recommend their RARE STEAK & MEATBALL PHO. No worries, you're not eating rare beef. The meat is served rare, but it's cooked in your broth. Just make sure to submerge as soon as you get it, or request that they serve it in the soup for you when it comes out. 5. Cleanliness - well kept and maintained. No complaints. SUMMARY Not the best pho I had, but it is still good being in Tomball, TX. I wouldn't mind going there again if I ever crave pho. read more

To my surprise, for a pho spot in Tomball, this place is actually pretty good! It's a small little mom and pop place, but those are the best places, am I right?! I was a bit hesitant at first since their menu included a variety of dishes that didn't quite fit the usual pho shop vibe, but everything turned out to be delicious! Soup was fresh, clean, and savory, but the "large" portion came in a bowl that must've been borrowed from a toddler's tea set. If you come hungry, prepare to order extra noodles or maybe an appetizer... or three. The staff were attentive and kinda friendly, as in "I'll smile with my eyes but not my mouth" friendly. The atmosphere was so quiet I wasn't sure if I'd wandered into a library's secret soup section; everyone was whispering like we were exchanging state secrets over pho. Great pho! The broth has that rich pho flavor. I wish there were more noodles and toppings collared to other places in Houston. However, I was happy with our restaurant choice and so was the family. We only tried the seafood pho (extra meat), brisket pho and children's pho. Clean and inviting interior. Parking lot can get busy however there was enough open spots when I came over lunch. It's not very often I crave a good bowl of pho these days but I touched down in Houston and a couple of days later, it hit me, Yelp helped me settle on this little gem so I treated myself on a Saturday evening. Patrons were light for most of my visit but started to pick up the later it got. Now the service, idk how to rate. That lady working the front annoyed me to no end. She was too bothersome rushing me to order. I'll let you know, the restaurant ain't but inch wide and long,....geez lady! I settled on the spring rolls, half shrimp, half pork. They were delicious. Well before I could finish half, my large bowl of rare steak and brisket pho came out. I took the meat out cause I really prefer it served on the side since it cooks in the broth. And speaking of, it was so flavorful and delicious. I added sriracha and all the toppings including the raw jalapeño. One of them almost killed me lol but the soup was overall really tasty. Came in here with eyes bigger than my stomach. I ordered the spring rolls with chicken, thinking they would be tiny appetizers, but they were HUGE! I also got a large bowl of rare steak and meatball pho, I should have went with the small. I ordered a water and the thai tea and it was bomb! I didn't finish it all, the soup that is, but I ate all the meat. I was in a food coma at the table. This place was really good! I was definitely impressed with how big the appetizers were. I have never been treated so poorly by a restaurant in my life, and I left genuinely shaken and humiliated. I went in for lunch with my mom, ate, and then paid at the counter like any normal customer. I inserted my card, added a tip, the payment went through, the cashier said "thank you," and we left. Five minutes later, as I'm sitting in the truck about to pull out, the employee comes outside to my vehicle with the payment device and ACCUSES me of not paying. I was so confused. Not "Oh, I'm so sorry, we think there may have been a mistake." Just "You didn't pay your tab." I cannot even describe how shocking and humiliating it is to be talked to like that, especially in a parking lot where other people can see and hear. I told her I had literally just paid her, and she still insisted I hadn't. I even offered to pull up my bank account and told her to check her cameras. Then she pulls up the bill -- and above it is MY NAME from the payment I had just made. That's when she suddenly realizes she had pulled up the WRONG TABLE when she checked me out. Instead of apologizing, she tells me I need to pay the difference... which was $8. And she still acted like I was the problem. I told her how humiliating the whole situation was & that I was leaving a review. She couldn't figure out how to void that transaction and pull up the other one so only then did she mumbled "It's okay, you can go, sorry " while the entire restaurant stared at me like I'd actually tried to walk out on my bill. I left in actual tears. I've never been so embarrassed over something that was 100% their mistake. If they had simply said, "I'm so sorry, it looks like we charged you the wrong tab, can we fix it?" I would've been totally understanding & paid the difference without hesitation, I know mistakes happen. Instead, I was treated like someone who was trying to skip out on the bill over an $8 mistake they made. Not cool. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. This is our favorite local Pho place. Today we just made a mad dash for yummy drinks and let me tell you the Taro boba and Vietnamese coffee with jelly are our favorites. Mama's Pho and more is nestled in Tomball and is an excellent spot for delicious Pho. The broth is so flavorful and savory. We also enjoyed the curry chicken which is now a household favorite. We decided on some Vietnamese food for dinner tonight, so we headed over to Mom's Pho N More. Mom's Pho N More is one of a handful of Vietnamese restaurants located in the Tomball area. In my opinion, it's one of the better ones, and hasn't ever let us down. It's a cozy little place with good food, reasonable prices, and decent service. For dinner tonight, we had the following: 1. Gyoza appetizer 2. Spring Roll appetizer (shrimp) 3. Chicken Pho 4. Vermicelli combo (chicken, pork, shrimp and an egg roll) I probably wouldn't order the Gyoza again, not because it was bad; it just wasn't anything noteworthy. All of the other items were pretty tasty. The springs rolls were crisp and fresh. For the vermicelli, the meat was tender and cooked perfectly (not overcooked). I can't really speak to the Pho, but it was full of white chicken breast, and the wife said it was delicious. All told, this was a very nice meal. Our first visit a month ago was great. Food was great and they asked we get it to go because it was 30 min to close and they wanted to clean. No worries Since then the food is good if you happen to choose what they want to make that day. We have been back three separate times hours before closing time and they have told us "We are out of that dish". On the third visit they admitted they hadn't made it and weren't making it any more. The spring rolls are delicious. The pho is pretty good but the seafood pho could have used some more shrimp and less large imitation crab meat. I wouldn't mind paying more for it to include shrimp, scallops, etc. My son's kid's pho included the vegetables which I appreciate. Not everyone's kid needs plain food with no greens/veggies.
