The spring rolls are delicious. The pho is pretty good but the seafood pho could have used some more shrimp and less large imitation crab meat. I wouldn't mind paying more for it to include shrimp, scallops, etc. My son's kid's pho included the vegetables which I appreciate. Not everyone's kid needs plain food with no greens/veggies. Service was fine.. no complaints. Good, affordable lunch. I will go back to get a bahn mi and a vermicelli dish. read more

This restaurant has recently changed owners within the past 3 months. It was our first time trying this restaurant out and I must say, it is the best Vietnamese Restaurant in Tomball/Cypress region. Hard to find something authentic like this restaurant! First off, their staff and owner are super friendly. They try to get the food out as quick as possible and make sure that the food came out good. Superior customer service! Secondly, their pho is the best pho up North Houston (if not, the best pho I've had). Super flavorful and not too oily. You can definitely taste that the broth has been cooking for a long time which is what pho is all about! All their other items, banh mi, wings (super crunchy and a ton of fresh flavors) and their tornado potatoes (they used Japanese mayo which I loved) are all amazing. I would for sure order a lot more wings next time :) We will definitely be back supporting this small restaurant business. We ordered egg rolls, shrimp fried rice, and Pho Thai (Rare Steak), all of which was very tasty. The sprouts, lettuce leaves, and herbs were the freshest I have had in a while. Be careful though when you order online from their website, which directs to Clover.com. There, the opening hours shown for Mama'S Pho are incorrect. Per Clover, the restaurant would open at 11 am on Sunday and allowed me to input an order for pickup at 12 pm. However, the restaurant does not open until 12 pm on Sundays, which resulted in 25 minutes of waiting time. However, waiting for this delicious food was well worth it. Went here for lunch on a Monday had been seeing this place and had been wanting to try it out for a little while cause it's right next to the salata I go to . Menu is kind of all over the place didn't really understand how it all went together. I had the chicken wings lemon pepper they were too breaded and cooked too long . Then I had the spring rolls they tasted like they'd been made with some unwashed lettuce didn't really care for them they were bland .
