She was very diligent with picking us up on time, but unfortunately when she picked us up, she was vigorously coughing the entire time WITHOUT A MASK. With Covid -19 going on, we didn't appreciate having to stick our heads out the window the entire time to feel safe. After a lovely November weekend in of camping in the mountains, our VW wagon broke down on a road near Dahlonega on our way home. It was a Sunday, and I could not get a tow truck or rental car until Monday. I called her because she was recommended by a local tow service that wasn't able to come out. Martha was not only very kind to accept our fair but she also was kind to allow our dog in her cab. She was able to recommend additional local small business including a dog-friendly hotel and the names and numbers of both a towing service and her VW mechanic. After hours of no luck on the phone, we were finally safe, warm and had a place to sleep for the night because of her kindness. We used her taxi service twice more the next day. My friends and I were recommended this cab service above others in Dahlonega for New Year's Eve and were very disappointed. We were all drinking and just trying to be safe by taking a cab home but despite everyone being nothing but polite, the lady that was our driver was extremely rude.
