I made sure before calling on the site for the vision coverage that they were covered. On there it clearly has them listed. Anyways I got the appointment scheduled. When I arrived on time today I was told that they don't accept the medic aid vision insurance. I'm very disappointed that they did not inform me of this when I set up the appointment nor prior to the appointment. It was very unprofessional. I don't appreciate my time and gas being wasted like that. I definitely will not be returning after that experience.

It has dwindled to the move them in and move them out mentality and it shows. I have decided to try a new place next year and see how that goes. I want to be treated as a client who has been seeing you for years not as someone you want to get through the service line. I have been wearing eyeglasses since the age of 4 years old. They are a part of who I am. I have spent thousands of dollars on the most fashionable, the thin lenses, the blue lens and more. I wear both Rx glasses and sunglasses. She was in denial about needing glasses/contacts because she worried how it would impact her sporting activities. We visited Dr. Chan to get my daughter an exam and fitted for both glasses and contacts. Dr. Chan is amazing, intelligent, and truly connects with her clients. Dr. Chan was patient with my daughter and even talked about sports, school and college with her. That helped my daughter ease up during the appointment. Dr. Chan found the perfect fit and prescription of contacts for my daughter. She wore a trial pair home and read every billboard, small sign, and store sign the entire way home. My vision was terrible, but the day after my procedure, I was already seeing better than 20/20. After about 15 years, my vision began to decline again. I remembered that they offered a future enhancement if needed, so I returned in 2024. Fortunately, I was a good candidate for the PRK procedure. Just like before, the staff was incredibly friendly, informative, thorough and walked me through every step of the process, from what to expect during recovery to the results I could anticipate. For the second procedure, I had to space out each eye, but I'm thrilled to have my sharp vision back. Both of my parents and several friends have also had LASIK at Coleman, and everyone has had a fantastic experience.
