Grabbed a slice while walking the New Castle Farmer's market. Great crust, supports the pizza well and has a little crunch. Toppings, cheese, and sauce were all well proportioned. Pretty solid pizza spot inside the Farmer's Market. This place cranks out an incredible variety of pizzas available by the slice. Prices seem about typical for a premium slice. We opted to get a whole XL pizza, which is $18 (cash only). Service was friendly, prices were fair. More cheese than we like on our pies, but that's just a personal preference. We'd likely come back again if we are in the area and ask for it to be well done. read more

For one, their quality is the unreal. They take pride in what they do. I ordered a large pepperoni and onion pizza and a large meatball with extra cheese. The large "meatball" and cheese pizza turned out to be a meat sauce and extra cheese- no meatballs. Both pizzas were very large [18"] and large slices. The pizzas were a 6 or 7 on a 0 to 10 scale. The crust was fairly bland and on the harder side. If the crust was softer, more chewy, and tastier, I would rate these pizzas a 7 or 8. I probably won't go back there again. I still like Pat's thin crust pizzas as my favorite, rating them a 8. I'm still looking for the perfect pizza in the 9 or 10 range! read more

I created a Yelp account just to give this place the review it deserves. Mama Ginas by far has the best pizza for this area. I am originally from Long Island and my pizza standards are very high especially on the crust. I have to say that outside of NY I have not found better pizza crust. It was perfect, so that excuse about the NY water is why the pizza is so good goes out the window in my opinion. Up until today I believed that myself. The toppings are very good quality, the sauce is homemade and very very good and the only thing I can say that I wish was different - they are only open on Friday and the weekend when the farmer market is. My family & I have been going to Mama Gina's since I was really young. It's my favorite pizza to this day. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I made my husband make a trip there to get me pizza every weekend as it was my biggest craving. The crust is crispy, the sauce and cheese are delicious.
