Some of the best pizza I've ever had. The Bianco bruschetta with balsamic reduction was so yummy. The crust was buttery and it's rare to find such a great combination where I love the crust and the pizza. The Blanca White was delicious. Fantastic white pizza with plenty of oregano on it. The garlic knots could use more butter but that's a personal preference. I like them doing dripping with oil and these were about half way. Service was excellent. He had that water ready for me before I looked up.

We stopped here for lunch after a long morning walking around a museum near by! We ordered three pizzas: Rockford park, wawaset park and a margarita pizza. Pizza took a bit to come out but they came out looking and smelling amazing! My friend enjoyed her Rockford park pizza and ate every last bite of it. We enjoyed the other two pizzas as well. The margarita pizza was one of the best ones we have had in awhile fresh ingredients and very tasty pizza! We ll have to come back and try some other pizzas one day!

We've always enjoyed their food and service. However, this time we could not eat on the patio/deck on a nice day because they had a private party taking up their patio. It is not the first time this has happened to us. I'm sure the party people are having a grand time. However, these frequent parties are a disturbance and disappointment to us boring regular people's outdoor dining experience/expectations. We ended up getting takeout. I mean, if this restaurant loves parties so much, they could consider opening a catering branch to specifically cater for parties........

Great quality Italian food. Love the salads and pizza! If you're a fan of Focaccia bread, must try the Monna Clara square pizza!

I was at Wilmington Brew Works next to Metro for a drag bingo event. It's very convenient to have this reaturant right next door of a cool brewery! I called ahead and ordered a few things from the menu I've never had. Typically I am all about their pizzas which are delicious. The caprese sandwhich was messy but very yummy! The wood fire bread was the best part! The Caesar salad was a bit different being mostly arugula but it was served with egg, homemade dressing, and a few toastinis. Also delicious stuff from Metro where it's pizza or not!

Bianco Bruschetta pizza. Usually a square pizza but they ran out of that dough

Review: La Pizzeria Metro - Wilmington, DE Garlic Knots: 7.6/10 I'm really hungry, so my rating might be a bit skewed, but these garlic knots are impressively fluffy! I love the skillet presentation--it adds a nice touch. They're a bit greasy, but have a good crunch. I wish they were more garlicky, though. The sauce is delicious but could use a bit more. Overall, I enjoyed the doughiness! Cast Iron Chicken Wings: 6.4/10 The chicken wings have a nice aftertaste with a bit of spice from the hot honey. They're sweet with an okay crisp. I wish the wings were larger and meatier, and that there were more onions. Unfortunately, the chicken tends to stick to the skillet. Bianco Bruschetta Pizza: 6.1/10 This pizza gives off a nice wood-fired vibe. It's usually made on a square dough but they ran out. It feels like they're skimping on the tomato and onion especially for $17. The crust is great, and the tomatoes are fresh and fun. A bit more balsamic would have been appreciated. The cheese is wonderful, but the pizza wasn't cut with love. I wish there was more of everything!

One of the best pizzas in the neighborhood if you're in the mood for some Neapolitan. Place has good vibes, and great pizza. Just don't go in expecting a New York slice. Prices are a bit on the higher end but worth it!

The weather was lovely so we chose to sit outside. There are no gluten free pizza crust choices so we went with a salad and nachos. The salad was a generous portion and came with the dressing on the side so one could dress their salad as much or little as they like. The nachos arrived in a really hot cast iron pan which was amazing because the nachos and cheese stayed nice and hot throughout the entire time we ate them. We loved this!! Since our dining experience was great so far we decided to try some dessert and went with the affogato and a tiramisu. The tiramisu is the traditional style. I couldn't taste any coffee or liquor but it was lovely. It was the first time we've tried an affogato and my dining partner enjoyed it so much she is now a fan! I'm sure we will be trying affogato everywhere it's offered and it will be compared to the one here. Jake was our server and he was terrific. There was also a very nice young man who turned on the heater for us when we requested it as it got a little cold outside while we were eating. All-in-all we had a fabulous pizza restaurant experience here and will definitely be back!

Went here for pizza on a Tuesday night. They had buy one get one pizza half off. I got the pesto pizza with sausage. It was delicious and flavorful!! I also got the tiramisu for dessert. It was so yummy!! Great local spot!

The walls are red with a black wainscoting paneling and framed pictures, sconces, and a small wine rack can be found on the red part of the wall. The ordering counter is also nearby and has a display case with pizza pies in it. We were immediately seated after arriving and ordered the following: Medium holiday veggie pizza, which has mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, ricotta, green peppers, and diced tomatoes. We didn't realize that the pizza didn't have red sauce but we still liked it. Hubs said that he needs to read the menu closer next time when ordering pizza. This wasn't the first time we accidentally got a no sauce pizza. LOL. Daughter and I shared Vongole, which is linguini tossed with 12-15 little neck clams with your choice of white or red sauce. She chose red sauce. We also got a choice of soup and she chose pasta fagioli. She liked the clams and said that the entree was nice and saucy. I prefer white clam sauce, though. So, I will try that next time. Fried calamari- calamari golden fried squid with side of homemade sauce. I liked that the calamari wasn't breaded. This is my favorite type of calamari. We should've ordered linguini on the side and this was Hubs' favorite dish of the night. The place filled up quickly after we arrived. Hubs had been wanting to try Italian food in Delaware. This place is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. We were expecting it to be a fancy restaurant when we saw the exterior and were pleasantly surprised that it was a pizzeria. The place felt very homey and we loved it. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu!

I ordered three pizzas: Upside down, White & Pepperoni. Ordered three sandwiches: One chicken steak, two beef steak. Wings: two orders. For starters we loved the wings - crispy and meaty and not at all greasy. The pizzas were also a hit. The thin crispy crust was great and cooked just right. All of them were delicious but our favorite was the pepperoni. The cheesesteaks - wow!! Seriously the BEST cheesesteaks in town. You can taste the cheese in every single bite. The sandwiches were loaded with chicken or beef and the seeded roll was fresh. The only thing that could have been better? The pizza temperature. Oddly, when we arrived home (about 10 minutes later), the pizzas weren't hot? The wings and the cheesesteaks were both perfect. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. Our only regret is that we haven't tried this place sooner! We will definitely be back. Hopefully the pizza will be hot.

Place was pretty cool inside, old school vibes with the flooring, wall posters, and even video games. Had to wait about twenty minutes for a table for three, not a big deal, as it was a Friday night and somewhat expected. Prices were a little high, but not crazy. Service was good, food came out fairly quickly. Ordered a couple of pizzas, steak sandwich and fries. Round pizza was decent. Detroit was underwhelming, and was really hard to eat. It was very difficult to get off of the screen, very sloppy, not a lot of crisp-was really hoping for a better pie. Steak sandwich was fine-roll was decent, meat was seasoned, but didn't really set itself apart. I will say the bar area had a really good vibe, and I could maybe see myself returning for a couple of drinks and maybe some apps. Wish I could give a three and a half, but unfortunately it didn't really earn a four for me.
