Super unique location for a coffee shop and plant nursery. The combo I didn't know I needed. Local…read moregem worth checking out. Lots of interesting coffee options. Ranging from the classics (drip, latte, cappuccino...) to the unusual (banana matcha) and so many different foam options. The staff were patient and helpful in explaining their menu to me. There are also pastries and a cooler of canned drinks as well. Some tables available, but it'd also be fun to take a walk and look at all the plants while sipping your drink. I got the banana latte with marshmallow cold foam with the "pop tart" pastry and both were really good.

I…read morealmost hesitate to bid y'all to give it another chance 'cuz I don't wanna be without a seat when I come next. But hey, we can share a table I used to come to Selva months ago to wait out traffic before dance class nearby, but seating was always hard to find: 7-8 tables cramped around one large tree in the center of the coffee area which, as many of you may remember, inhabited just 1/4th of the huge warehouse room it is situated in. As of May 2026 (and before, but this is my date of visit), the seating now stretches all the way to the back of the warehouse room. Circle tables with 1, 3, 5 green chairs nestled between large potted plants so you and your besties (or just your laptop) can vibe together amidst all the shared oxygen. AMBIENCE: 4.5/5 Bury me in a sea of green and I'm a happy girl. San Diego is a relatively newer city so it's hard to find brick anything... but here, in this tall expanse of a painted brick building, light flows in through the row of windows near the ceiling; planet-looking plants twirl, hung overhead. That's not even mentioning the whole plant warehouse this shop is attached to -- 2 more large rooms PLUS a whole outside filling to the brim with gorgeous greenery. If your brain gets tired working, it's so nice to peruse the plant aisles beneath the huge twirling disco ball in the plant room attached. I deducted .5 points because it's not in the nicest part of town; you may run into folks on the street here. If you're a lone woman, keep your wits about you as you're walking at night... but I've never had a problem. DRINKS / FOOD: 4/5 I don't remember seeing if there is prepared food here, but I do see snacks (chips, baked goods) and refrigerated drinks GALORE, plus a whole middle section of cute gifts no one has a need for, but every last desire for. Today I got the "Funny Business", a banana/cinnamon-infused latte, half sweet, WITHOUT the banana-infused cream cloud on top, as ya girl must skip out on the dairy. I was delightfully surprised at how strong the coffee is -- I remember it being quite weak before. However, the drink without the cream top on its own is not that flavorful. I'm a good coffee / latte lover -- not a cream top one. I wouldn't say this place is for the coffee-serious (which is why I give it 4 stars out of 5), but they have so many inventive drinks for the sweet drinker. I do appreciate the variety of snacks and drinks they have here -- I am gluten free, so it's nice to have access to chips and not just gluten-full baked goods I can't eat, which most shops are known for. PARKING: 4/5 I mean... it could be worse. You're in an industrial part of town right next to the freeway, they couldn't exactly plan for a parking lot of their own here when building. [There IS a parking lot, but it's for people shopping for plants.] Parking is along the front of the warehouse and in the street perpendicular to it. If it's REALLY crazy, you can keep going down the street the warehouse is on and find parking down there. I've never had an issue with parking, but I come on Friday afternoons when the PLNU students etc. are likely not here. 4/5 for me. It's rare to find a place like this anywhere (just don't come expecting the best third wave coffee). Come enjoy a rare oasis of greenery and sweet drinks right near the water. And if you're feeling really inspired, head on down to Sunset Cliffs a few miles down to close out the night with an unforgettable view

The portions are generous. I always share or have leftovers. Everything is fresh and made to order. You can save time by ordering ahead. Today I had the chicken torta, bionicos, and the Pacific Mix juice post workout. The bread was nicely toasted on the panini, the chicken well seasoned and not dry. Light on the mayo as requested. The bionicos hit my sweet tooth but in a healthier way vs donuts or candy. The papas caseras was an impulse buy to try at a later time. I was definitely full and of course I had leftovers to bring home. A forewarning about the parking lot - it is a tiny parking lot shared with 4 or 5 other businesses including Francos Flapjacks, a tattoo shop, Chop Shop Barbers, and a smoke shop. There is only one entrance/exit and it can be crowded depending on the time and day.

I wanted to grab some delicious and refreshing treats and found this place on Yelp with incredible reviews and had to give it a shot. First of all, you'll need to resist the temptation to order EVERYTHING on the menu because you could easily eat and drink your way through the whole thing. I went with the mangonaeda and bought one for me and one for my son. The nachos looked awesome and while it wasn't exactly in the "refreshing" category, a boy's got to eat right? The fruit was delicious and the chamoy straw is always a treat. I'll be honest, I almost didn't make it back to camp with the second drink because it was that good. Now let's talk about the nachos. Don't you hate it when you see an incredible pile of nachos and all the topings and goodies are on top and they're virtually never and more layered throughout the chips and by the time you get to the bottom, you've just got dry chips? I hate that. Well apparently these fine folks didn't read that recipe book and there were so many jalapenos and so much cheese I actually ran out of chips before I ran out of the toppings. It was an epic snacking experience. Keep up the fine work you're doing here and I can't wait to see you again.

Ive brought friends here in the past and have always gotten positive feedback afterwards. Recently though, it feels like it's lost a little of its charm. The menu needs updating because with all the crossed out items on the board, it looks a little low end and like they're out of things. But they also always seem to be out of multiple items when I come these days. There's no food options any more most of the time, but the display cases remain. And seating... it feels like they got rid of 1-2 tables and the tables that were outside. There never seems to be enough seating so it's both cramped while also empty looking now. They have these side benches to sit on, but no one ever uses them because they're not super comfortable or good to chat with anyone with. Also, the bathroom. It's usually open, but twice now Ive been in there where there's zero toilet paper or the paper towel dispenser is out, but someone has just put a roll on top to tear at your own will. I loved this place so I hate saying more negative than good. The drinks remain amazing, but for a spot that is so popular, it's losing some of its own charm.
