1 Star - 13+ HOUR ORDEAL | DANGEROUS NEGLECT & ABUSE…read more My sister arrived coughing up blood at 12:30 AM. Her X-ray was finished at 3:55 AM, yet we were left in the waiting room with zero consultation or answers until 9:00 AM. Overall, we were stuck there for nearly 14 hours just to get a diagnosis. We didn't need a bed; we needed a doctor to review her results and tell us if she was safe. The front desk conduct was appalling. A receptionist named Marella told me she "DID NOT CARE" my sister was coughing up blood and intentionally flipped her ID badge to hide her name (a violation of WA law). Another staff member earlier that morning refused to provide a grievance form. While the clinical staff was kind and attentive once they finally saw us at 9:00 AM, the 13+ hour total time spent for a respiratory emergency is a massive safety risk. Formal reports have been filed with the WA Department of Health and Legacy Leadership. Avoid this ER.

I've had the privilege of experiencing Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center firsthand on several…read moredeeply personal occasions, and I feel compelled to share my positive experiences based on the overwhelming number of negative reviews I'm reading about this place. The staff in this hospital have been there for me and my family through many important, and a few times, heartbreaking moments. I witnessed firsthand the labor and delivery staff's joyful exuberance in caring for my friend's newborn child; these people love what they do for a living! I recently witnessed the doctors and nurses care for my grandmother after a traumatic fall that resulted in the diagnosis of terminal illnesses and a monthlong hospital stay. I've also been treated in this hospital and received quality care at a time in my life where I wasn't sure how I would pay my medical bills. I'm happy to say care comes first here, and over the years it has been nothing short of outstanding. Here's where things get problematic. Hospitals are public institutions that cater to a wide range of patients who have vastly different needs. It's impossible to accurately predict the outcome in any situation, especially with so many unpredictable factors at play. But I feel it is important for me to say the caliber of care my friends, family and I have received at Legacy Salmon Creek has never been anything short of amazing. The doctors, nurses, technicians and admin staff have always been patient, understanding, and extremely dedicated to healing those in their care. I've always been impressed by the hospital's commitment to basic human decency as it shines through in every interaction. I'm telling you, this is the only hospital in the area I would want to receive care. Clearly, hospitals aren't always perfect, and my heart goes out to anyone who has had challenging and frustrating experiences here. Just know, from my personal experience, I can say that Legacy Salmon Creek has been a model of quality care and compassionate service when it mattered most. Areas for improvement: Please find some funding for staffing the hospital giftshop! I haven't seen it open once during the last month of regular visits to see my grandmother. Also, I'd love for there to be wheelchairs or assistance available for people with mobility issues who want to visit family receiving care. This may be available, but I've not found these resources during any of my visits.

Not only was she treated quickly, every single individual we came into contact with was awesome! From the kind woman (Sharon I believe) who processed our daughter's intake to her first and second nurse (I'm awful, I'm spacing on names), to the gentleman (Mike) who took her X-rays, and Doctor Brian (who treated our sweet daughter with expert care) - everyone who helped tonight was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable! To tell you we were blown away by Brian's bedside manner is an understatement. Not only did he treat our daughter's ankle, he was very engaged... taking the time to ask questions about her school performance, her interest in sports and even about her plans for college. After reading the awful reviews online we were prepared for the worst tonight but we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much to the entire team who helped us tonight. If we have another need for after hours care, this urgent care will be our first choice. Bravo Team PeaceHealth on a job very well done!

Obstetrics and Gynecology…read more My experience with Dr. Duggirala was extremely disappointing due to lack of follow-through and communication. At my appointment on February 13, 2026, she told me she would have another physician review my MIR report and would get back to me within three days with a plan and referral to the appropriate specialist. That never happened. I followed up through the patient portal 4 times asking who I was being referred to and what the plan was. I repeatedly received messages from staff saying she was out of the office/on-call and would respond within 48 hours, yet I never received a response from the doctor herself. When medical issues require timely care, patients depend on their doctors to follow through. Instead, I was left without answers and had to begin searching for specialists on my own. I sent a message through the portal asking to refer me to the specialist I found myself and still no response. As of March 11, 2026, I still have not received any follow-up or referral. I would not recommend this provider based on my experience. This is not ok.

They don't keep track of their work, and they never complete a _simple_ cleaning in 1, One, visit. The scheduling and communication here are the worst I have ever experienced. A dentist/Dr here actually lectured me, ME, The Patient, for 20 minutes while I was in the chair, because I did not know exactly which of my teeth were not cleaned during the first visit, at which time the work should have been completed in the first place. There was also Much loud complaining about co workers in front of me by Dr Temper Tantrum. Somebody with a doctorate should be more mature than this. Today, visit #3, somebody in back decided my cleaning was completed during the first visit #1. I went to appointment#3 today, and they said the job was completed, and sent me home 20 minutes after scheduled time still sitting in the waiting area. THE CLEANING HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED, AND I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THE DR YELLED AT ME ABOUT IT DURING VISIT# 2.-just sent me home angrily without finishing the job. I always show up on-time. I am in good standing as of this review. I am an excellent patient. I have been Too Nice. I've forgotten so many names, but I want to mention that the young man who put in my second IV line (the first was at a clinic) did it painlessly. Also, the professional who did my echocardiogram was excellent, and the staff member who took my food orders was so considerate and helpful. Everyone was so welcoming and respectful to me, my same-sex spouse, and my sister. Their care and treatment were exemplary. I was able to be discharged after only one night in the CICU. When the paramedics ( AMR) arrived, I repeatedly told them that the medication I had taken was on top of my dresser and asked them to bring it with me to the hospital so the doctors could identify what I had taken. They did not retrieve the medication. When I arrived at PeaceHealth, I repeatedly told the doctors and nurses that I was having an allergic reaction or severe adverse reaction to a prescription medication prescribed by my doctor. Despite my repeated statements, I felt that they assumed I was under the influence of illegal street drugs. I provided both blood and urine samples, which I later learned were negative for any drugs except THC. Instead of receiving the treatment I believed I needed, I was discharged from the hospital and sent home in an Uber or Lyft. At that time, I was in what I believe was a psychotic state. I was hallucinating, extremely confused, and unable to think clearly. In my opinion, I was not capable of making informed decisions about my own medical care. After I arrived home, I began experiencing chest pain and called 911 again. When the paramedics arrived, they asked whether I wanted to return to the hospital. Because of my mental condition, I do not believe I was capable of making a sound medical decision. Again, I told the paramedics (AMR) that I had suffered an allergic reaction to the prescription medication on top of my dresser. I had also told the doctors and nurses at PeaceHealth that I believed I was having a reaction to a medication prescribed by my physician, but I felt that no one believed me. During my first visit to PeaceHealth, I was taken to the MRI department. A nurse RN (Kristi Castle) wearing blue scrubs with blonde hair pulled back became upset because I would not get into the MRI machine. At the time, I was hallucinating, my thoughts were racing, and I did not understand what was happening to me. I believe I was experiencing a psychotic episode. The nurse documented that I refused treatment, but I do not believe I was mentally capable of understanding or consenting to medical decisions at that time. When I returned to PeaceHealth a second time, I was placed in a room with a nurse. I repeatedly asked to see a doctor, but instead I was escorted back into the waiting room. While sitting there, I genuinely believed I was dying. I felt detached from reality and believed that the people around me were no longer alive. I returned to the nurses' station and told the staff that something was seriously wrong with my brain. I even said that I wondered whether I had Alzheimer's disease because I could not remember anything and my memories were coming and going. I recall a staff member responding, "Oh, now you're diagnosing yourself." I tried to explain that I was losing my memory and that something was terribly wrong. I was then sent to another staff member and again explained that I was having serious problems with my brain. I remember being told, "I've been watching you, David. Go sit down over there." Feeling desperate, I went outside the hospital and begged people for help. Some of the individuals appeared to be hospital employees, but no one stopped to assist me. Eventually, I was able to contact my girlfriend, who took me to Kaiser Permanente. I am incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kaiser. They listened to me, believed that something was seriously wrong, treated me with compassion and professionalism, and provided the care I needed. After receiving treatment, I improved significantly and was able to return home within a couple of hours. To the best of my knowledge, both the PeaceHealth and Kaiser drug tests were negative for illegal drugs, with the exception of THC.

There's plenty of plush chairs and benches in the long lobby area with plenty of gender neutral restrooms and hand sanitizing stations. They also have a pharmacy and lab for bloodwork. I appreciate not having to go to different locations to get things done. They use the MyChart app, making it easy to schedule appointments, pay bills, and ask your doctor's team medical questions. It's very easy to use and I usually get responses within 24-48 hours. Overall I am happy with this Vancouver Clinic location. I will continue to come here for as long as my PCP is available.

Let me be very clear: I've been severely ill for over four years, critically ill for the past 10 months, and I am now extremely depressed and suicidal. I told this provider, plainly: "I don't want to live like this anymore." That's not drama. That's my reality. Instead of compassion or concern, she responded with ego and condescension. She acted annoyed by my pain, said I was being rude, and shut down the appointment in less than five minutes. No support. No care. No help. Just dismissal and abandonment. This wasn't a one-off. On a previous visit, she showed zero interest in my complex condition--focused only on my lorazepam prescription--and today she confirmed what I feared: she simply doesn't care. I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran with PTSD, and I was suicidal during that visit. That should have triggered immediate action. Instead, I was treated like a nuisance. To prove my point, she sent the police to my house ¨to check on my well-being¨shortly after leaving the office, an obvious ¨cover-your-ass¨move, not done out of concern or compassion, and further substantiating my account. I filed complaints with Legacy, Medicare, Tricare, and the Washington State Board of Nursing, and I will be disputing any charges for this so-called "appointment." Billing for five minutes of cruelty is not just unethical--it's fraud. Legacy Health completely ignored my complaint and the Washington State Board of Nursing protected their own, go figure, rather than addressing the matter, stating that my complaint was ¨baseless¨, having never contacted me once for clarification. Then, to add insult to injury, I received a registered letter (see photo) accusing me of being "threatening.", a blatant, disgusting fabrication to cover for their shameful behavior. Disgusting human beings, unprofessional behavior ... shame on you! NEXT STEP: Filing a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights.
