I have spent all week trying to get answers about the cost of my procedure and what options might be available to me. I have repeatedly tried to reach someone named Debbie and have now gone three days without a return call. As a cancer patient without disposable income, I need to understand what I will actually be expected to pay and whether payment plans or other financial options are available before I can proceed. Trying to navigate costs in this so-called "health care system" is exhausting enough without having to repeatedly chase down basic information from people who can clearly care less about me as a person.. I already lost the will the live before this diagnosis. I have no choice but to give up on pursuing treatment altogether. No patient dealing with cancer should be made to feel this way simply because she cannot get a phone call returned or obtain straightforward information about the cost of her care. I live alone with nobody to hell me too whatsoever. I am on the ACA, which doesn't cover much if anything because the rich in this country don't see people like me worth saving. Pay pay pay ... is the American Way... A physician can be compassionate and competent, but the entire practice is part of the patient experience. When the follow-through is missing at a time when a patient is alone. already frightened, financially stressed, and trying to make important decisions about cancer treatment, it matters enormously. My doctor wanted me to get an MRI due to a recent fall I had that has had me in pain for over three…read moreweeks. The price I was told to pay (after insurance) was $1,091.22. Which is more than I can currently afford to pay. I was referred to go to Green Imaging who found an affordable MRI location. With my insurance it was still going to be a pretty penny but after receiving the doctors order they said they could do it without insurance for $250 (left knee only without contrast. It is very no frills but in no way lacks professionalism and good service. I was treated with respect and dignity and care. The MRI is located in a trailer behind the building. It's is cold to prepare yourself. I only had to remove my shoes, my watch, and my jacket due to the metal zipper. They gave me a blanket to make me comfortable but it was still cold. The imaging took about 30-35 minutes. After I was given a cd of the images to take to my doctor. A report will be sent directly to them in 2-3 business days. A great experience and I am grateful that it was within my budget!

They were sooo super patient with me even though I was really nervous, they really helped keep me calm through the entire process. They do offer a sedative if you have anxiety or claustrophobia. I hope I never have to get an MRI again but if I do, I'd definitely come back to AV imaging.

Why 5 stars? Because an MRI is never exactly the most fun, but I guess this was pretty painless…read more --- --- --- Going in for an MRI is a pretty unfortunate process. It means you're hurting somewhere. And the actual MRI itself is such a bizarre thing. In the not-so-distant future, we will look back on this technology the same way we currently look at VCR's. Not to sound snooty about a machine that can look inside your body, but it's insanely loud and you must remain perfectly still like you're dead for it to work. Every time I go in for one, I can't believe this is still the best way to do this. However, that's the case for any MRI. And my Alliance MRI was pretty painless. I was called back before the start of my appointment and the whole process was no nonsense. A few days later, they sent the report over to my Ortho, and bonus points to Alliance, I had no tears in my achilles. I can give credit to them for that, right?

I'm not sure anyone necessarily wants to be in a position to need a cardiac MRI, but if you need…read moreone, this is absolutely the place to go. From start to finish, they are amazing. Scheduling and the office manager, Dinorah, were exceptional. I firmly believe that you are not just cared for by the doctor you see but by the entire practice, and they excel at this. Dinorah placed my IV and did as painless a job as I've ever experienced with that. The person performing the MRI was awesome. He and Dinorah made sure I was comfortable. They gave me headphones and earplugs to protect my ears while the machine worked while also being able to hear the instructions regarding my breathing and the Netflix show. That's right. I was able to watch a Netflix show while the scans were performed (they took about 45 minutes), and there was a progress bar at the bottom of the screen so I could see what was going on and how much longer I had. When I didn't know what to watch on Netflix, Dinorah recommended a show, and it was highly entertaining. Despite the show, I was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. Dr. Cheong read my scans, and since he is trained in Cardiology, he was able to talk to me about them. It was really nice to get real-time feedback and learn that there were no underlying issues causing the thing we were investigating. I'm just one of those people that have it, and this was the best news I could have received considering the circumstances. I was relieved. He was very, very thorough, showing me everything and explaining it in terms I could understand. He is caring and fantastic, and who doesn't love a doctor that loves Hello Kitty and Pokémon? Seriously, he was also patient, kind, and caring. He answered all of my questions and was very reassuring. The practice cares deeply about the comfort of their patients, and they had some nice little touches that spoke to this. They had a lavender essential oil spray that Dinorah mixed up, and they used it in the MRI room to make it a more relaxing and spa-like experience. Seriously, I felt so relaxed when I got out of there I was ready to take a nap. Also, I had to come to the appointment without having my morning coffee. When I was done, Dinorah made me an awesome espresso with biscotti. I will definitely come here the next time I need a cardiac MRI. I would come back here just to visit with everyone in the practice with whom I interacted. They are that great! I am so glad my electrophysiologist recommended them so highly. 10/10 will recommend to everyone!
