This little restaurant is a hole in the wall in Cherryville, NC, is wonderful. The music was amazing reminded me of Nicaragua worship music. My meal was spot on, I didn't expect it to be so delicious. The waiters were all waiting on us, our drinks were always filled. Our server hector was extremely attentive and fast, as soon as our drinks were empty he appeared with refills immediately, even with almost every table full he was very efficient. (Thank you Hector!) The lemonade is amazing and so is the sweet tea Both of our dishes were still steaming and the cast iron was sizzling when brought to the table, as well as our tortillas coming out of the foil hot, fresh, and also steaming! and both dishes were absolutely delicious, we paid about $40 plus about $10 for a tip and I would say it is 110% worth the trip and the money. Along with so many menu options, I feel like there is something for everyone of every palate. very small yet nice restaurant, the decor and condition of the booths were very nice, there were also tables for seating, very clean and calm environment with music at a nice volume (enough to hear but not to override conversation volume). Try the tacos a la brava extra spicy - my favorite dish in town! Friendly staff, fast service, fresh food. The guacamole is always fresh and tasty. I don't usually eat a lot of soup but their chicken soup has become a weekly favorite of mine. If you like extra spice ask for their habanero hot sauce. read more

Ordered the Large Black Bean soup to go and it was ALL broth and very little black bean and other ingredients. Also ordered grilled chicken Nachos Supreme and got home and it was beef and grilled Nacho Supreme, not what we ordered. I was very clear when I placed the order and not sure what happened. Taco salad was more like a taco soup. Wasn't able to eat all due to 3/8 of it was like soup, instead of a salad. Shredded chicken must have been floating in water to pressure it. So small you would know just how cold it was out side, gust of air blows in every time door opens up. read more

Found this place on yelp as we were passing through town. We were the only people in the place on a Saturday evening. The service was very awkward. The girl might have been very new though as she was unable to answer any of our questions about the menu. The music that was playing kept stopping as it was playing from someone's phone and they received at least three calls in the short time we were there. Food was okay. Service was good. They were fast, efficient and friendly. The food was more Tex-Mex than true Mexican. It was flavorful for Tex-Mex but if you are wanting true Mexican, then you are going to be disappointed. We are still looking for a true Mexican restaurant in NC. On a letter grade, this was a C. The food quality is very good. We have ordered take out over ten times and always been pleased with the food. My only complaint is if you order multiple plates of food they only give one small salsa with one bag of chips.
