Review for MANASSASTIRE -- I have bought two Groupons from them for an oil change. The first time didn't have much issues except a super long wait but the cashier gave me my oil change for free. We came the second time to use the free Groupon voucher since our last one was free, oil change technician put full synthetic without approving with us first and had to pay that difference, not really a big deal. I bought another Groupon and have been trying to use it but on the days I can do it they seem to have their oil change technicians leave early or something else has come up. I called early again on Saturday (normally the only day I can go) to see if I can make an appointment after work they said as long as you came come before 4pm we can see you. I show up at 4:04PM and they turn me down stating they are now an hour behind and cannot see me. I asked what time their other locations close they call to the one on Sudley and he states there's an oil change technician there but manager is in the bathroom so go there and try. I arrived to the one on Sudley at 4:30PM turns out they closed at 4pm. Very frustrating. I won't be buying another Groupon from them unfortunately. read more

This place is a big rip off tried to charge me 1,300 to fix a car for inspection I took it someplace else and got inspected with a 69.00 repair. Big big difference. And when I questioned them about what they was trying to do they threatened me with I won't be able to get my car inspected without getting all the work the said as it's in the system. Lie again!!!! Nothing but liars here!!! If you get a bill trust take your car to Joe's auto or bills auto and you'll see just how this place is ripping people off. Avoid this business! You regret doing business with them! They endanger you and your family by damaging your car engine parts, not installing bolts and parts removed back in their original places. They were so unprofessional that they were unable to perform a simple part replacement on a very easy car. After wasting my 1.5 working days for something that for lower than average mechanic takes 45 minutes, they finished bullying me by quadruplly charging me of the same service anywhere else being done in professional style. They forced me to buy low quality part and charged more than twice for that, pics attached. They damaged my car. They broke my engine parts. They did not reinstalled removed part back. They lost blots and parts. They are not professional. They spent 1 hour and in a bully manner charged me 5 hours. They stained inside and outside of my car. When I look up definition of "charlatan" i see a lot of similarity to this business. Avoid this business! You regret doing business with them! read more

Disappointing. This was my first visit and I was preparing for a long drive on I-95. Prices at this gas station was the biggest disappointment. It was sixteen cents higher than the Exxon across the street. Even with Shell Loyalty points the price per gallon was still high. Also it was the first time at gas station where I have seen two prices for each selection of gas: one for cash and one for credit. Because I had a Shell gas card (and no cash) I came here. Will not return. There is a Shell a mile or two up the road (toward Centreville) which I will use next time if I come through this way and need gas. read more

These guys will "fail" your car inspection on items that are not even required to be checked. They failed me and gave me an estimate that seemed high so I took my car to get a second estimate. The second place told me that not only was the problem not a reason to fail a safety inspections but also the repair was not even needed at this point. They asked me if I had been to this Shell station. When I said yes, they told me they see a lot of people they have tried to scam. Stay away! read more

Fast inspectors, great service manager, have used them for years. They have made quick adjustments in the past as a courtesy.

Avoid this place. I brought my car for safety inspection, they failed the inspection on things that's were not broken or failures and said it would cost $600 to fix. I took my car to another place the next morning and it passed inspection. The tech at the second place said there were no issues that the Shell tech (Orlando) said failed. Shell tried to scam and cheat me with $600 fix offer, it didn't work. Everyone should stay away from this place if they don't want to be scammed. read more

I will never take my car here again. First I was told I needed a muffler. Okay was charging me $600. I said I would check around first I had to call back and ask which muffler I needed. The rudest older guy was there and no help. I called the person on the receipt Jason, I asked which muffler did I need and he told me my car only had one. Now I'm confused because on line it shows two. So of course I ordered the wrong one. Second I fixed my car and called and Jason answered and I asked if I needed the paperwork he gave me and he said no. Okay great I didn't have to run home. I said I was on my way and I was only 10 minutes away. Got there and was told by the inspector I'm not taking any more cars. What I just called and spoke with Jason. We'll go talk to him and I would have to charge you for a new inspection because it's over 14 days. Today is the 14th day so how is it over. Because if you had your inspection at 9am 14 days ago and 14 days later is now 2, it's late what are you serious! I just left. I will not give this Shell anymore of my money. read more

The manager in here is absolutely THE most rude person I think I have ever encountered. I gave him my form for my inspection to be done and he rudely said to me, "Where is the pen?" When it was in front of his face on the clipboard. Never again will I come to this establishment for ANYTHING! Talk about NO customer service! Manassas Shell - Inspection line. - Gas Stations Near Me - Manassas, Virginia

This station is ripping people off. I took my Sonata to them last month for a inspection. They failed it saying the right light strip cover on the right side view mirror was cracked. All the lights worked when the blinker was on. So how is this a safety issue? There was a less than quarter inch crack in a corner on the plastic cover that's been there for over 6-7 years, and they failed it. It did not obstruct the lights from working in any way. My advice would be don't go there. Find reputable station to do your car inspections. read more

Do not take your vehicle to Manassas Shell for inspection. I was rejected, when reading the state inspection requirements for the reason, the inspectors interpretation was incorrect, when I took it back he disagreed so I took it do a different location which passed without any question. read more

Everyone in the shop was friendly and inviting. Emissions test only took about 15 minutes once I got in, and the 3 cars before me were in and out in about the same. I will be returning when needed! read more

Believe the other reviews. I was just here to get a state insp done. This guy is a douchebag! Nabi you are a douche. That's the name he was wearing on his shirt. Nobody else there for insp, but I had to go back to where their line starts, ok no big deal. Makes me wait awhile then comes over to ask what I need- state insp- "get out of the car" ?? First of all, watch it. Then tells me to fill out form and bring it "up there to the guy in front" I ask in the store or the guy I saw up there with you? And this douchebag acts like I committed a crime & speaks to me like I'm beneath him "no man, over there, that's my bay" just his attitude & the way he spoke to me is a big fat juicy NO-GO. If I could give a zero star I would. The mechanic people are really nice. I was sent to pay the bill and there was a very rude guy at the register. I gave him my bill he looked at me and my daughter and said very rudely "where is the card". I looked at him and said like what card? I truly had no idea what he was needing. There was a machine in front of me to pay I was waiting for him to tell me to put my card in. I said to him you are a rude person an I will write a review to GEICO about the stations they deal with. Doesn't deserve any stars . I pumped gas and then tried to park to the corner side of the station. I was dropping off something for my friend so we both parked in the corner of the station... a cop had been parked in the same corner of the station for almost 45 minutes dealing with a truck driver on site. The cop left and we parked in the same spot he was parked at and not a minute had gone by when the attendant came out to harass us and said "you can't park there!!" And I replied that it would only take two minutes and he said it again "YOU CANNOT PARK THERE!!!" And I immediately said again this will only take two minutes!! He said it again and I said "a cop was parked here for 45 minutes!!! How come you didn't say anything!? And he goes "that was a cop!" I just said at that point I really didn't care and gave my friend what I had to and left . Some customer service or lack there of, guy was fucking rude! Right before we left he goes "let's go!" Horrible experience!!! Purchased a coffee while waiting for my car to be serviced . Turns out the coffee had been EXPIRED for OVER 3 MONTHS When i told the cashier he gave me a refund and simply PUT THE DRINK BACK ?!?! He laughed and said it would be someone else's problem .
