PEDRO butchered my son's hair. It's the worst haircut of a lifetime. Even though I took painstaking time to share photos and talk about what we wanted, PEDRO waived me away and proceeded to cut my son's hair whatever way he wanted. I suspect that PEDRO gives the same horrible haircut to every client. I'm guessing it's the only haircut PEDRO knows how to give. Take a good look at PEDRO's stupid haircut because that's the haircut he's going to give you. The only time PEDRO woke up from his miserable trance was when my son and I looked on in horror at the finished product. PEDRO seemed to look at his work for the first time after seeing our reaction and tried to roller brush and blow dry my son's hair to add volume where he had been utterly butchered. As a visitor to Florida, I went with cousin to this shop for him to get a haircut. The shop was suppppeerrrr clean. From what I could tell, everyone was so sweet, while I was waiting... They offered me a beer! I obliged of course. We didn't wait long at all and the barber, was a sweet as pie, cute as a button, sassy little Floridian gal named Savannah. She was so adorable and chatted with me while she cut my cousins hair. Mind you, I didn't think my cousin even needed a cut. He's in the military and keeps it very clean. When she was finished he looked like a new man! I was so impressed! She shaved a little part into his crew cut and he was looking great! If I was a dude, I'd frequent this joint. read more

One of the nicest barbershops I have ever been to by far. It is extremely clean and everyone is very friendly. if you need a haircut, ask for Savanah. She is one of, if not the best barber I have ever used. Super friendly, smart, sweet, talented and super cute. I am always amazed at how good she is at cutting hair. I always leave there extremely happy with my haircut. She makes the whole ordeal of getting your haircut a pleasant experience. Haircuts are below mediocre and come with customer service which is below rock bottom, and this all comes at an above average price! Trust me save your money and go to Supercuts, they'll be WAY more professional, friendlier, and give better haircuts... at half the price! I can't count the amount of times my hair was butchered here but only continued going because I've because I've been regretfully going for many years for mere convenience. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was in the chair with the gown on, about to get my hair cut, then my barber Pedro went outside to talk to a guy about his nice car for 5 minutes..... (when I had to go to work soon, which is why I scheduled my haircut!) When he came back he told me I had to leave because the lady up front forgot to put me on the schedule when I rescheduled yesterday. Hours are terrible. They close early. No management. Owner watches on cameras. The employees are ok. There is one girl that works there that every time I walk by has the grungiest friends outside hanging out. The girl up front is cute but there is zero smiles and conversation. I will say they give a great hair cut. One of the employees told me they are thinking of lowering their prices to get more business. Awful service, over priced, person doing my shave missed spots with straight razor and finished shave with electric razor. I can do that at home. All kinds of riff raff associated to the employees hanging out in the shop creating a non welcoming environment. My wife said the pedicure was awful and she would have asked for her money back( hey I'm a guy, I have no idea what a pedicure should be, but she was adamant that it wasn't done well.) Check the filtered reviews.. Not a quality place... Work on your service level guys and provide what you promise and I would have been a loyal customer. I have been going here for about six months now. I am in the military which means I need to keep my haircut as professional as possible. I have had savanah cut my hair once a week since the first day I walked in. She does a phenomenal job with a skin fade. She uses the straight razor to perfection leaving no lines. I have been overall impressed with not only my barber, but the establishment and overall atmosphere. This used to be my favorite place to come get my haircut! But each time I came, they kept getting worse and worse. For the price you pay at ManCave, you are better off going to Supercuts, trust me! Barbers rush your haircut just to get it over with, and then expect a 5 dollar minimum tip separately from the haircut transaction. I expect to swipe my card ONCE for a haircut, not TWICE! I had been to the Man Cave about 2 years ago and had stopped up until now. I booked with Savanna and the cut is just fine.. My issue is with pricing. In the past, I paid $25 for a haircut... My brother who has the same hair as I do still pays $25. I was charged $35 and when I questioned it, I was told I got a MASTER haircut... According to the website "Expert cut, shampoo & rinse, a straight razor shave on sideburns & neck, blow-dry & style." Never got a shampoo and never saw a straight razor.. I got a water bottle spray on my hair and, yes, there was a blow dry at the end. I basically got a "have a nice day" and "our computers crashed a while back and your history got wiped out..sorry".. Came for a hot shave. The appointment was set incorrectly as a haircut so I got assigned a woman at first. After this was fixed this dude with petroleum jelly and a dull blade started hacking at me. He used dirty towels that smelled of mildew and powdered me on my dress shirt. I smell like a baby, my face is burning in pain. He cut me multiple times - clearly had no clue what he was doing - and then they charged me $35. Really an awful experience all around. read more

STAY AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! HORRIBLE customer service. The front desk receptionist did not simply know how to schedule or look at appointments. I had made an appointment as a surprise for my husband for the holidays and had 4 services paid for and scheduled (couple hundred dollars) with Grace at the front desk. Upon his arrival, the receptionist said he was an hour and a half early (after confirming the day before) and the 4 services were not directly after each other he had to wait in between. He stuck it out and waited 90 minutes to begin. The Esthetician was 30 minutes late on top of that and we finally had enough. He went to ask for a refund as it was ridiculous. The receptionist proceeded to call me as it was my card which paid. I agreed and asked what the problem was with the scheduling and what had happened. All she responded was I am just the receptionist I can not help you. I never have experienced a concierge so RUDE and MISINFORMING. Since when was a job of a receptionist not to know the schedule? I was nothing but professional while concerned with what turned out to be a HORRIBLE surprise for my husband. The manager then proceeded to call and say I was rude to her employee. I am in the business and simply APPALLED at the unprofessional environment and lack of customer service in this business. No one knows anything other than how to take money and not provide given service. Never-mind it is unorganized and embarrassing to call a Man "SPA" . This review only pertains to the straight shave I received. I've gotten haircuts here before and they've been great, but I would not recommend a shave. It's nothing personal and this is not meant as a complaint. Only information so as to fix a problem. I have multiple cuts on my chin and had blood spots on my neck from my jawline almost to the neck of my shirt when I got home. I had to wash my face to get rid of the blood spots as well as the crud left on my chin to stop the bleeding from the cuts. I wanted to do this in person but ran out of time and they didn't pick up the phone when I called, so here it is on Yelp. If they fixed this problem I would go back, but not before. read more

Let me start off by saying, I hate leaving negative reviews. But I have to share this experience so others know what to expect. I was given a gift card for a hot shave because I never had one before and my wife thought I would enjoy it. When I called to book the appointment, the receptionist was very short, abrasive, and not friendly at all. And when I arrived for my appointment, it was more of the same. No one greeted me as I stood there for several minutes waiting to check in. When I finally checked in, I was told that the person I would be seeing was "just finishing up". 45 minutes later I inquired as to what was the hold up. It turns out that the receptionist never told the person I was seeing that I was there waiting. I sat down in the chair nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment, even though he was not with anybody for almost that entire time. The hot shave experience was ok, but I was expecting something different. I was expecting the smoothest, closest, cleanest shave of my life, but when I left my face still felt stubbly. I had to go home and finish it with my own razor. Upon checkout, I was told that the gift card I had been given had no money on it. Even though I have the gift receipt that says otherwise. What that means is the person that sold my wife the gift card, took her money but never actually put it on the card. All in all this was a poor experience from start to finish. They haven't changed their hours of operation on the door, so the first time I went they were supposed to be open and yet they were closed. I walked in today to check it out. From a distance, the receptionist yelled out and asked me if I had an appointment. I said No and she rolled her eyes. She went to the iMac on the desk and said she had 4:30 and just my hair, right? It was quite obvious that my beard needed to be done. I said hair and beard and another eye roll. I just picked up a business card and said I would make an appointment. let me begin by saying, I received this as a gift from my wife, I'm not a regular patron. I scheduled a morning haircut, hot shave and pedicure. Let's start first with atmosphere, the person doing the haircut noticed their barbicide wasn't the right color,pointed me at the mirror and left me uncomfortably listening to the 3 idle workers talk about bs that frankly, i wan't involved in and didn't want to be involved in. Could have pointed me a tv and given me the remote, would have been much nicer. Good ten minutes of that and I was ready to leave. Haircut was so so... same haircut I would have got at supercuts...let's move on the real travesty, the hot shave. the person had the coldest hands known to man as they put cream on my face. hot towels were luke warm, and I had two weeks of stubble on my face, you don't get thru that much hair with two luke warm towels, only left on for a minute at a time... I could feel the razor not cutting the hair cleanly as it jerked at the roots of my hair pulling my skin up. In fact the person stopped doing my upper lip because it was uncomfortable...whipped out the hair trimmer and trimmed my upper lip with that... I thought they would return to the straight razor, but no, to my aghast, the person took an electric razor out and proceeded to go over my face with that... what was the purpose of the straight razor shave if they go over it with an electric razor? not to mention when I got home, I could see that patches were missed.. I had to reshave! just absolutely disgusting and the worst thing I've ever had to experience... and the pedicure, not much better, the lady only spent a minute cutting my nails, she did very little shaping with an emory board and the whole time regaled me how men are so much easier to work on... and when I got home, I let my wife review my pedicure and she said, utter crap, did she do a @##$ thing to your feet? So uncomfortable atmosphere with employee's just standing around gossiping, not inclusive of the customers, in fact my haircut person was not interested in my discussion with them and kept talking to the other barbers, client comes first people, not your discussion with co-workers and don't get me started on taking a cell phone call in the middle of the shave... unprofessional.
